Does this phone EVA-L09 support voice over LTE? I can't get it working and I can't find any settings for this? Every time I call someone the call gets routed through 3G and sometimes even 2G. I would like to have the supreme in call voice quality back, that I had on my OnePlus One.

No, but I think that my carrier is up to certifying the phone to the network so I'll have VoLTE soon.
With the Nougat B360 Update I can enable VoLTE via settings. I'm on Telekom DE.

Nice to see that, but this is the situation on mine
i am on 432b360 too. Have you activated it with some code or in some other way?
thanks
@africa89
No, I just did the Update and the Settings were there. Maybe VoLTE is something your provider has to enable? AFAIK the older contracts of T-Mobile didn't have VoLTE enabled, it had to be activated by the provider support helpline...
Can anyone or in any rom Volte will be activated ??

Does the P10 work on T-Mobile VoLTE?
Interesting development. I am in the USA and have a VTR-L29. The 8.0.0.360(C185) build was pushed out to me a few days ago. Now under the Wireless & Networks --> Mobile Network menu, I have an option for VoLTE calls that is on.
I honestly hadn't thought to look until I was on a call today and the voice sounded different.
Still no option for WiFi calling, but I'm happy to see VoLTE working.

I have P10 (single sim) and Telekom sim card. (SLOVAKIA). Have latest android 8 B365 and volte works for me. But no vowifi option.
Volte not available for my carrier so option doesnt pop up :/ feels bad man
Your operator must support volte and you must have 4G sim card..
My operator support only devices Huawei, Samsung, LG, Sony..
I read that with Android 8.1 Oreo update Xiaomi has enabled Dual SIM Dual VoLTE for Redmi Note 5 Pro (Snapdragon 636).
I read the same for Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 6.1 plus (Snapdragon 660 and 636 respectively), both running Android One.
What about Xiaomi Mi A2?
I'm not able to find anything about DSDV for this device.

Thank you. Is it just for India or also for all the rest of the world?
I think for global variant only, I'm not sure exactly.
Sim 1: Vodafone Italy (no VoLTE enabled plan)
Sim 2: TIM Italy
Country: Italy
Everything seems perfect here.
If someone want to have both SIMs on 4G and only one is VoLTE enabled, data must be enabled for the SIM without VoLTE.
I wasn't able to make VoLTE work on a Vodafone IT SIM, but no problem with TIM IT instead.
The attachment shows TIM IT Dual SIM Dual VoLTE.

I'm also in Italy with TIM, but I do not have the times. Yet I have the voice service active and on my old phone I had it. How did you activate it? I do not have the menu to activate it.

In order to make menu appear, you need to disable the region check, typing this in the dialer:
*#*#86583#*#*

Dial *#*#4636#*#* and see if you can enable it. If it is grayed out, it is not supported.
Technical department from Orange Romania informed me that Nokia didn't developed the software yet to support VoLTE and VoWIFI on their network.
"Am luat legatura cu colegii din departamentul Tehnic, iar acestia ne-au spus ca producatorul Nokia nu a dezvoltat un soft care sa aiba acces la VoLTE sau VoWi-Fi, asadar, acesat este motivul pentru care telefonul Nokia 8 nu se afla in lista de pe site-ul nostru."

It's not exactly Nokia fault, but network provider.
For example.
On my ta-1012 with EE card in, all of the options are highlighted, apart from the bottom one.
With three network sim inserted all of them are grey out as three offers their own solution for WiFi calling by additional app.

I don't know who to believe. Orange Romania blames Nokia for not developing the needed software, Nokia says that it is carrier depending.
Being on Vodafone, model TA1012. I do have VoLte and VoWiFi.

TA-1012, Vodafone Australia
VoLTE working is working for me.
So it would seem that Nokia's side of things (at least the core functionality) is already in place.
I don't have vowifi or volte indicator but i have wi-fi calling and changing it from wifi preferred to mobile preferred changes the vowifi to volte
Sent from my TA-1012 using XDA Labs
I can't seem to get VoLTE working on my RM3.
I'm with Telstra (major Australian mobile carrier) and have confirmed that they have activated VoLTE on my service.
I have ensured 'Enhanced 4G LTE Mode' is turned on in Settings.
Have restarted phone several times, reset network/sim settings etc, etc but VoLTE is still not showing or working.
Is it working for others? Any assistance you can provide please @JerryYin ?

It's strange that the VOLTE is not working, it should be supported by deafult. Which firmware you are using?

NX629J_ENCommon_V2.09 although when I go in and check for software updates it says my current version is 3.0
Have checked service menu and "VoLTE provisioned" is turned on (is there anything else I need to check in here?)
Thanks.
Edit - I've also tried a sim from a different mobile provider in my RM3 and no VoLTE with that sim/carrier either

If your operator is based on a gsm network, it may not work, I'm using China Telecom and I can get VOLTE working, it is a CDMA operator, however, my another gsm based sim card can not get the VOLTE working on NX629. I'm not sure that the Red Maic 3 can woek on all operator and all get the VOLTE function. Sorry for that.

But VoLTE does work in Australia with all of our major mobile networks so that shouldn't be the issue?
Could it be that our two main carriers both use LTE Band 28 for 'best' 4G connection and the RM3 that I was sent does not have that?

Can any other RM3 users please comment on if they have VoLTE working or not?
No Volte on UK's EE network.
On top of that, I can't even use "enhanced LTE" option, if I turn it on I get no caller id (when someone calls me I only get unknown caller instead of the name or number of the person).
In india Global version VOLTE is working perfectly for both sims on global Rom as well as Chinese ROM. You dont ses VOLTE but HD icon next to signal bar in CN rom. On vlobal rom when you are calling someone you see HD.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.
Firstly, my sim settings look different to yours, not sure why Nubia has made this setting different in roms for the same phone?
Secondly, I managed to have VoLTE work today with a different mobile carrier sim - I tested and 4G was remaining on during calls! But no VoLTE or HD symbol was evident in the notification bar along the top. @JerryYin can you please confirm if the VoLTE symbol should show on RM3 software? If not, can this be added in a software update please.
check in the calling screen HD should appear.

Yes it does but I really thought the VoLTE symbol should appear in the notification bar?
On my OnePlus 6T, the VoLTE symbol is permanently displayed in the bar when VoLTE is turned on.
Nubia's way of VOLTE = HD

voLTE does work on EE. If you have enhanced LTE option turned on and make a call I think you'll find that the call is made via 4g. It also has WiFi calling on EE which can be enabled through the phone app.
Like you say though, using voLTE and WiFi calling does render incoming calls as showing unknown numbers. I'm still trying to figure out why it does this, it's obviously something to do with the IMS settings as it's not optimized to work on EE's network.

WiFi calling would be great for me, as cellular signal is poor in my area.
