The System has been destroyed?! - Xiaomi Mi 9 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
i have a huge problem and i need help!
My Mi9 showed me today that an update to Miui v12.0.4.0.QFAEUXM is available. After I installed the update, the phone showed me "The System has been destroyed".
I can neither go into fastboot or into recovery mode. What else can I do to save my data and my Mi9?
Thank you in advance!

Realme X2PRO bootloop after recent OTA update

Hi all!
Today after OTA update my phone entered in bootloop. It stucked in initial animation. I'm able to access recovery mode. In recovery mode i tried to wipe cache and nothing helped. After, i wiped all data and nothing helped aswell. In recovery i tried to install update manually via "Install from storage" option and it wasn't possible. Also in recovery tehere is an "Online update" option. I tried that one asweel and i receive a message "Can not find available networks" which is strange because before wiping data phone could find networks but it wasnt able to download any update file.
My device is completely stock, does not have root access or custom recovery and bootloader is locked.
I have had also similar problem with no solutions, instal from storage - usb not working and I have all last updates
I am still waiting for sulution 5 month!
I tried "Online update" option and also receive a message "Can not find available networks" but here around I have many wifi networks.
In recovery i tried to install update manually via "Install from USB" but failed. I have many last OTA updates on USB but error message: "The installed version is lower than current" and I can not find any newer update on internet. I think the latest is RMX1931EX_11_OTA_1380_all_fXURbL0BfKor but not worked!?

Stuck on bootloop

Hi everyone!
Since yesterday i am having problems with my phone, first it briked after a normal update, thanks god i unlocked the fastboot before, i installed a custom OS but didn't liked it, so i wiped both partition (and i think i ****ed up there)
So now i can still enter fastboot mode, but everytime i try to send fastboot boot judypn_TWRP_bootable-metadata.img (that yesterday worked) not it's not working anymore, it just boots normally and remain stuck in bootloop
On my microsd i put the img of twrp with metadata HavocOS and twrp zip too, yesterday i could install and enter in recovery mode them without any problem, today the boot img is sent but the phone "ignores" it.
PS. I can enter fastboot mode without problem, download mode isn't working
Thanks to anyone who can help!

So first, the forum you posted this in is called 'Roms, Kernels, recoveries and other development'... so which 'development' is this? a Rom? a Kernel? a Recovery?
None of the above right? So what you have is a 'question', and it should be in 'Questions and Answers'. Sorry if that offends, but if someone wants to find something in these forums, then posts need to be in the appropriate places...
First thing I'd do would be to get the phone's download mode (lgup) working again and flash a stock kdz. That way you can basically 'start over' (and hopefully have better results with your endeavors).
try this initially: Follow this link and read the 'notes' file. Hopefully that will give you lgup, if it doesn't then it's a more involved process to use edl and flash, basically, a whole image.
cheers

Redmi 9 hardbrick "system has been destroyed"

Hey together,
I bricked the Redmi9.
The status of the phone is as followed:
*phone is not recognized by computer
*bootloader seems to be locked
*whether fastboot nor recovery is accessible
*phone bootloops displaying the mentioned error [the system has been destroyed]
History:
- updated to latest MIUI V12.5.4.0.RJCEUXM
- installed shrp-recovery and switched to crdroid
- cause I could not manage it to set /system, etc. to read-write I tried to flash orangefox-recovery
at this point problems arised, cause recovery was not accessible any longer and somehow I bricked the phone afterwards by trying to flash orangfox-recovery again and wiping several partitions with sp flash tool.
It got worse and worse.
At last I flashed successful stock boot.img and orangefox-recovery.img with the help of bypass_utility and sp_flash_tool
, trying to flash the rest of the images did not work cause the phone disconnected.
Is it possible to fix this?

Question Redmi Note 10 5G Global stuck on MIUI Recovery after update to 12.5.5.0

Hello all,
I just got the V12.5.5.0 update on my Redmi Note 10 5G (Global).
After I rebooted the system tapping the complete notification it is stuck on the MIUI Recovery screen.
My device is not rooted. It just has received OTA updates.
I tried to reboot the system a few times, but it didn't work.
Also, I tried the safe mode, but it didn't work either.
After Reboot or safe mode, it returns to the MIUI Recovery screen.
I haven't tried the Wipe Data option because I want to back up my files first if possible.
Is there any way to back up my files or be able to fix it?
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
the only solution is enter into fastboot mode and flash stock fastboot firmware via miflash or similar tool

I tried that, but I am getting an error saying not allowed in locked state. It looks like the bootloader is locked, so I tried to use the Mi Unlock tool but I am getting error 1004. Also I tried wipe data, but it didn't work either. Right now, I don't care loss my data, I just want to have my phone back, any help is appreciated. Thanks
I have the exact same problem, after the update, lock on recovery mode, then when I tried to flash stock fastboot firmware it says that it is locked. And I also can't access Mi Unlock Tool for some reason, so if anybody has a solution to unlock bootloader I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
I got this same issue. Is there any way we can report this to mi? I don't mind if I lose my data rn, I just want this to start working normally again. someone please help if you know how to fix this

Have you downgraded? Tried to, but accidentally locked bootloader. And it shows that version I have installed isn't compatible.

I received the device yesterday, the update notification arrived and I installed it, I didn't imagine it could be a problem, I tried to reinstall the rom but the bootloader is also blocked, I don't know what else to do, I'm desperate.

Found a solution on web. If your phone is on Mediatek(I suppose all Note 10 5g are Mediatek? or no?) So, if it is, just look for an unlocker. You will also need MiFlash and I recommend to install Global MIUI 12.5.4. https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/camellian/stable/V12.5.4.0.RKSMIXM/ - MIUI

unfortunately this tutorial doesn't work here, I followed everything but it still didn't unlock the bootloader
Hi guys, I just woke up and my phone was in MIUI Recovery mode, just like yours.. Probably made the update automatically.
It seems this is a recent problem for many of us. I'm nowhere near an expect but I will continue looking for the solution (if possible, without whiping out the data or at least to be able to back-it up).
Will really appreciate if somebody posts if they find a solution.
Thanks!
The only solution is to wipe the phone. I got my lesson I will buy a samsung now
Hello all,
I got the V12.5.5.0 update to on my Redmi Note 10 5G (Global).
After I rebooted the system tapping the complete notification it is stuck on the MIUI Recovery 5.0 screen.
My device is not rooted. It just has received OTA updates.
I tried to reboot the system a few times, but it didn't work.
Also, I tried the safe mode, but it didn't work either.
After Reboot or safe mode, it returns to the MIUI Recovery screen.
I have tried the Wipe Data option and it worked and got me back to MIUI V12.5.4.0. But unfornnatly i lost all my files (about 90 Gb of data).
And this is the last i install any MIUI update until i see that a lot of user's have install it review it
My Poco M3 Pro 5G Global wasn't affected.
I manually download the OTA package and installed successfully.
This phone has a/b slot.
I'm wondering those facing this issue, have you tried switching from a to b slot or vice versa?
fastboot --set-active=a
fastboot --set-active=b

i think the ota released by xiaomi is bugged. you're operation is correct, but a correct ota might do this automatically. i have noticed that many users with unlocked bootloader, after the update have phone that dont boot. i think they cant enter on fastboot mode. the only solution is flash using mediatek SP FLASH TOOL. or MI FLASH PRO. or ALL IN ONE TOOL
Was someone able to access the "Connect with MIAssistant" part using pcsuite?
I couldn't, but I think it might be because the USB cable I'm using is not the original one from Xiaomi or one compatible.
work only if you have installed also pcsuite on your device. if u have a full stock loked device only solutions are Mediatek tool or miflash pro! or all in one tool. as i said a million time already
