I have LineageOS 18.1 (rooted, no gApps) installed on my S10 and facing problems with my true wireless ear buds. The sound is good but the microphone quality is fuzzy and volume is low. I found out that just 1 ear bud microphone is being used. The system takes the bud first paired. On other devices with Ubruntu, Windows 10, StockROM and iOS the buds function perfectly so I think it´s a Lineage or gApps related problem.
Does anyone has an idea how to let android sync the microphones properly?
I found that some people report solving sound issues via
mixer_path.xml
in
/vendor/etc/
but I couldn´t find something related to my isseu in the .xml file.
Thanks in advance

Hey guys,
I recently bought a Bluetooth headset and wanted it to use for phone calls. But the problem that occurs is that the microphone volume is way too low. The person on the other end can't understand me. If I use the phones microphone it's fine and I'm pretty sure that the headset is also working fine.
I've read about this problem for other devices but there is only a device specific solution.
Is it a problem of Cyanogenmod? I use version 11 and one of the latest nightlies.
Can I somehow configure the volume of the microphone or is there something like a boost?
I think it's a software and not hardware related issue, so maybe there is a solution.

Hello,
i have the Xperia Z3compact for over One Year.
I'm on the road every day, so I use the Sennheiser Presence Bluetooth Headset for any call.
My only Problem is when calling; other's hear me to low! They have to increase their speakers to maximum and had problem to hear me. The Sound Quality is very good but they here me too low.
I have tested every Rom from (original) Android 4.4.4 over 5 Lollipop Versions (stock and rooted Rom's) and now on the newest Sony Android 6.0.1
-all with same bad results
When I'm calling with the Phone (without Headset) all here me perfect and loud.
But not with the BT Headset!
Then i have tested Cyanogenmod Cm12.x and wow the Problem with Bluetooth headset is completely gone
All here me loud and perfect!
But on CM the camera Quality is gone and I have the fisheye problem.
Now the big question:
why is the BT Headset outgoing mic volume louder than on any other Rom's?
And is there any option to increase the Bluetooth outgoing mic volume with a rooted (stock) Rom?
I know about the mixer_paths.xml file.. but no one ever, write here; How to tune the Bluetooth outgoing Mic volume!?!
All only tune the z3c inside mic's and speakers..
CM Mod is nice but buggy there is no stable Version and the cam quality is crap.
So please, if any one have a idea what I can try? to increase Bluetooth Mic Volume!
Help me!
Information:
The Problem is not my Hardware...
I have tested the Bluetooth Headset with other Smartphone without problems!
I have tested the Headset with another new Z3compact -same result other here me to low on BT Headset Calls.
So there is no Hardware defect.
PS: Sorry for my bad English.
Hope someone can help me

I have a T-mobile Galaxy Note 4 (SM-910T) runnng Android 7.1.1 ( Resurrection Remix OS). I'm having a major issue with hearing voice calls while connected to headphones or in the car through an AUX cable. I can't seem to hear anything if the phone is connected to either headphones with or in the car through the AUX. Calling through the handset itself(headset or speaker) is fine though... This was happening on another Nougat ROM..not sure if it has something to do with that or any settings that need to be modified..I've been scratching my head on this for some time now to get this resolved. Would appreciate if someone could someone please help out?
Hello again
Really often I use my phone as a media player, especially in my car, connected via headphones cable. Until now all works fine with all my devices, but with the Maze Alpha the sound is just in mono (left side) - with any app. In the android settings I disabled the sound reinforcement options but nothing is changed.
I know that the speaker plays sounds just in mono, but I found no hints in reviews that this is the same for headphones. If this device generally not able to play sounds in stereo, is this a big fail for the manufacturer.
So please check my issue and give me a feedback. I'd also be happy if someone can tell my a solution for this to get real stereo sounds.
Many thanks in advance and best wishes
Dan

Same issue here only one chanel
I haven't try to use it directly with large speakers though. It seems that you might need an amplifier to get the right sound despite defaulting to a stereo sound system only. The secret is to sound issue in Maze Alpha is to get quality earphones.
Just found out I have a very common and serious bug that Google doesn't acknowledge:
Bluetooth headset disconnecting and reconnecting constantly during calls. - Google Pixel Community
It happens only during bidirectional audio throughput (Microphone + Earphones) and not when I only hear music.
Tolerable solution would be to do phone call in monodirectional mode - e.g. using pixel's microphone, and headsets earpieces for sound.
is there a way to do that?
Edit: I think this question more relevent to general Q&A.
Mods welcome to delete this thread.
Is there a way to do phone calls using my phone microphone and not Bluetooth 5 microphone while hearing in the headset
