Anyone having issues flashing their s21 ultra from U1 (usa) to W (canada)? Ive tried several times with Odin and it keeps coming up failed.
Or does anyone know how to get around this
Try using patched Odin. That's how I finally flashed my s21
When I tried flashing I got the same messed then dug a little deeper and someone said try patched Odin and it worked 1st try

Hi,
My dad brought me his non rooted, non modified Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 that is stuck in the famous reboot loop. That is, it reaches the samsung logo and just stays on that animation of the logo glowing and fading.
I've tried various combinations of ROMS, as well as different versions of ODIN and Heimdall. I've successfully reflashed different firmwares but the furthest i get is the samsung logo.
The device was bought out of carphone warehouse UK, for which i found the latest firmware at http://fus.nanzen.se
I can flash this with heimdall 1.1 (1.3 always asks about firmware.xml which i figure is just a way of explaining what's in the tar to save selecting the files seperately). That said, i have tried 1.3 in command line mode on linux.
I get varying results with the flashing process too.
For example, this carphone warehouse firmware flashes fine with Heimdall 1.1 but fails in Odin.
I'm really running out of ideas. I thought it was just that something had got currupt somewhere and a reflash would sort it but no such luck.
Can anyone offer any tips? I've looked around the message board but it's like playing pass the parcel with the links. It seems a lot of people fix their tabs without actually realising what it is that fixed it because they've also gone through a whole load of combinations.
I've tried ROMS from samsung firmware website. Tried JHA from early on. Tried latest 2.2 that isn't tied to a network. Tried ones in the middle. Tried flashing only dbdata. Tried re-partition.
EDIT: I've avoiding looking into rooting it as a solution because my dad is trying to fish out the receipt in case it's under warranty. If it's not i'm prepared to root it. I used to be in the android scene back in the day when the G1 came out. I've programmed applications for Android and written a uni project on it so i am quite familiar with it, just maybe a little out of date with the processes.
EDIT2: Sorry guys just realised there is a galaxy 10.1 section too...
EDIT3: And that i don't have a galaxy 10.1 anyway...i may have flashed my brain with the wrong ROM. Anyone have a "sensible brain" ROM?
Hmmm... you might get helped at the Overcome-site, look for the restock GB v5 in the tutorials...
Hi All.
Randomly this morning the phone got stuck on the Verizon boot up...next I wiped cache...gets stuck on Optimizing (tested for 30 mins just in case of lucky times). It failed.
I have a lot of Xmas videos on the phone I never backed up. Any way to get a PC to see it or is it a done deal?
Also I am familiar with Note 4 Rooting/ODIN. Does one re-flash Official stock ROM using AP? or BL? or CSC? I believe for Note 4 it was always AP.....is there a way to flash official Firmware and RETAIN data??? I was unable to get the CSC info before this happened....so I'm just hoping the official AQH7 firmware's HOME_CSC is all I will need to prevent data/internal phone memory wiping?
P.S. I'm on AQH7 Official FW
bump please
Hey guys, so the issue I have is this. I got a grey imported N960F/DS model and the first thing I did is flash the stock Australian firmware onto it. However Ive noticed that it still has the stock Singapore apps on it upon restart even though the flash of the aussie rom was successful. I also noticed that the baseband version did not change to the one stated on the aussie firmware, but the build number did. It did update the security patch also
Ive now tried it with multiple N960F roms and the same thing has happened with each, including the carrier specific Optus ROM so I could use VOLTE and it always appears to be the Singapore ROM, as no Optus software appears on the phone after the flash and VoLTE wont work. I tried using the patched ODIN 3.13B and it also did the same thing.
Is there something Im missing here? A setting Im not checking or something?
Are you using csc or home_csc in Odin? One wipes, the other doesn't.
I've tried both options, the same thing happens with either
Were you ever able to resolve this?
I have some experience in flashing via Odin having done it on previous Samsung devices but I am having all sorts of issues with trying to do this.
I have a Tmobile S21 Ultra 5g and just switched to Verizon. I am trying to flash the firmware to unbranded (XAA if I have read correctly) but I am getting errors. The first error was SHA256 which I read was because I needed a patched Odin. When I switch to the patched Odin, and I have tried both 3.13.1 and 3.14.1, it goes for awhile and fails. I am unsure whether I need to root the device to switch between carriers or try something else. I am unsure if I want to root it as I may eventually want to trade in the phone.
Do I have any options? My main issue is with wifi calling as I am at times in areas where the signal is terrible but may need to make calls. With the switch from Tmobile to Verizon it appears that is not working.
I have an s10 SM-G973N, It was rooted and running android 11.....I installed a stock rom(android 12) using Odin now my carriers are not being detect.
I tried pixel experience rom but the issue still remains.
Is there a way to get my carriers to work again?
Thanks in anticipation
It's only a matter of choosing the right CSC and flash CP. If you don't know your region code check if you can see something on download mode screen.
Here is a good explanation of the codes.
