My "DEV DEVICE" Galaxy Note 9 with a flat screen. - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Guides, News, & Discussion

I recently got my hands on a Prototype Galaxy Note 9. Thought I'd share some photos on here before I make a video or anything on my YT channel on this. Any input on what to try on this device would be wonderful since it seems to have some sort of flag tripped in Download Mode. It has T-Mobile firmware for some reason (the earliest release build) and doesn't update OTA.

If there's nothing neat to do, I thought I'd at least share this cool piece of Samsung product development history. Plus, a flat Note 9 is pretty cool.

Oh god that looks amazing, i'm getting tired of the round gimmick

[Q] Clone Phones

Well i have recently watched a commercial for some S4 Clones, vendors made it clear that the phone is a clone, but made from the same materiel, same everything [Logo, headphone] and same CPU hence probably a really good clone, now i am looking to buy a Phone now but i dont wanna get screwed over in purchasing one of the clones, So i am looking for ways to know if the phone is clone or the really samsung deal. i have also seen this for the iPhone 5, I will attached the link if anybody request it
Its likely that it would have a different model number and wouldn't actually have the Samsung logo right? I'd remove the battery and check for the Samsung logo and model number at the back

Just Another Ship Game Beta

I have been working on a game that is like Asteroids.
There is a boss battle every 7 levels. Beating him will increase the time shields or point boosters will be in effect.
Here are some screen shots so far. Nothing is final at the moment.

Pretty excited about it.
Let me know what you think.
Yeah this is great.
I'm glad you think so! I have more planned to be added!

I think so so.

Xiaomi Redmi Note Design Discussion

I've come across a lot of people online saying that the phone looks like an iPhone clone.
But It doesn't.
I mean come on.
Look at it.
Look at it.
Look at it.
Look at it.
YAAAAAH.
The OS doesn't have an app drawer. Yes. But it doesn't turn it into an iOS clone (i used to have it on my HTC before it broke).
There is a big difference.
I mean people do you have eyes.

People who say they copy are dumb as hell and really annoy me.
Thank me for making you realize some people are really dumb.

Odd build number

I bought a used LG Watch Sport but much of the functionality seems to not work - google assistant, take wearable screenshot, and probably many other things (haven't gotten to play with much yet).
I noticed my build number is "swordfish-userdebug 7.1.1 eng-seungh.20170217.081021 test-keys". from what I gather this isn't an official build. I thought there weren't custom ROMs for the Watch Sport yet so don't quite understand how I'm not on an official build.

How do I get back to an official build?
maybe enrol it into the beta plan and it might update to official build number

Question Giant Startscreen Icons

My aunt bought her M32 last week. I did some debloating and apps migration for her and everything's fine so far. Only the startpage icons are SO TERRIBLY BIG. The grid is 3x5 and can obviously not be changed.
Is the M32 mainly targeted to elderly or visually impaired users?
best regards,
Philandroid

Meanwhile I've seen images of other Samsung Galaxy M32 Phones with normal looking desktops. Could it be I damaged something by de-activating an essential stock funktionality?
---
Today I eventually installed the Nova Launcher. I knew it from a couple of Lineage installations i've made. It comes with configurable app grids. So verything's fine now. At least for the moment...
Thanks for your patience
Phil
