Hello friends, this is the boat I am currently crying in!
So, my phone ( Samsung Galaxy S10e ) has entered into a bootloop after a recent update that occurred roughly on February 06, 2021 ( same day my phone was last backed up autonomously )
Here's what is happening:
My phone starts to boot up, then fails and Approximately 20 seconds after, it repeats that cycle. The phone continues to bootloop until drained of its battery then repeats this cycle again, if it is charged. *** This is the current situation ***
After playing around with the buttons, the only progress I've made is reaching the Download Mode. Ive yet to try odin or anything else and would like to ask for some help before I break my phone please! I really want to be able to save the data on there (pictures, music, apps, etc..) without factory reseting and using the backup but I will do whatever is necessary.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
I am in the same boat as you (I got S10) The only thing we cant do is try to flash TWRP and backup everything from there, then do a factory reset.
"Jeez samsung what happened...."

Oh I am mistaken btw....flashing twrp will erase everything because you have to unlock bootloader which in itself deletes everything.
I will try to flash home_csc official firmware over this one and hope for the best....screw dis

my galaxy note 4 (sm-n910t) caught in bootloop . i dont know what caused it. the phone simply restarts upto first bootscreen, ie upto 'samsung galaxy note 4' and then vibrates and then restarts.this process continues upto battery is down or i pull out battery.the phone is not entering to recovery mode but enters to download mode.
i have tried installing stock rom from sammobiles but it won't help.i have also installed custom recovery twrp but that also won't help to enter to recovery mode,
i am trapped pls help..
You didn't mention how you tried to install the stock ROM . Did you use Odin?
I just fixed mine with the same issue. I was able to boot into recovery and download mode but mostly download mode without bootloop when I had the usb cable plugged in. I used ADB when I could to boot into download mode, but the buttons worked too. Trying to restart the phone only lopped after the Google screen.
I followed several guides here to flash stock with Odin and wipe cache etc but none solved my boot loop issue. almost gave up but there is a video on You Tube that said the battery warping in the cause of the boot loop. The battery, after/during quick charge, may heat up and change shape causing the issue. Today I installed my new battery purchased on amazon and no more issues.
Now I am on stock and have to find a good rom.
If you do decide to flash back to stock there are a lot of good guides. You may find yourself stuck on the T-mobile screen for 15 minutes when booting for the first time but that is ok. If you still boot loop after installing stock and wiping cache I would try the battery.

hi OP,
did you find any solution to your problem?
Hello all. I'm also pasting this in the T-mobile thread in case it can be of benefit to someone. This is advice to use as a very last resort if you are experiencing the recovery bootloop issue AND you don't have the emmc failure bug. I had the recovery reboot, sudden shutdown with no warning, etc. issue for the past two weeks. I tried everything on Google and Youtube to fix my problem with no success. I flashed multiple stock ROMS and recovery tars (stock and TWRP) via ODIN, but nothing worked. Oddly enough, I never received the emmc error that I have read about. Also, in the few times that my phone booted normally, I even loaded the Wakelock Power Manager app, set it to partial wakelock and my phone STILL continued to bootloop. As a last resort, I bought a new battery, but the reboot problems continued in Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, 6.0 Marshmallow, 7.1 Nougat and 8.1 Oreo ROMS. Well, here is what finally helped me to get my phone back operational. I had a backup ROM from a previous install and a TWRP flashable version of the same ROM on my SD card (in case the phone did not stay on for the full restore). I put the phone into a ziplock bag into a freezer for about 20 min. (thankfully this time TWRP stayed on long enough for me to do the following):
1) copy all the files I wanted to save from internal storage to a computer.
2) performed a full wipe (Dalvic, Cache, System, etc. Like when flashing a ROM, but this time also internal storage. Note: Please do not wipe both internal and SD card, as you may have a difficult time trying to load the ROM file back on the sd card (assuming you don't have a card reader).
3) After wiping, I was able to restore my stock ROM backup (or you can just flash the stock ROM).
I can't be 100% sure, but I think my wiping internal and then flashing the stock ROM finally did the trick. Since this morning, the phone has been pretty much back to as it was before. In either case, I'm sharing this with the hope that it helps someone else.

Hi I hope you all will be fine.
Model# N960U1
Yesterday I updated to andriod pie. After updating I got all new look nd software but one thing note that the mid section of my screen didn't respond to touch. Along with that some times screen freez nd after ten seconds it come back to life. I have tried wipe cache and safe mode start but nothing help. I tried another method like backup data nd factory reset after that phone start working normal but after twelve hour phone of use and encounter the same issue now u can't do that every time to reset. Please advise a solution..
Does it happen if you boot in safe mode? If not there might be some app conflicting. If it is still occurring in safe mode then try factory reset but no data restore. If the issue comes back contact Samsung for repair.

Have you tried backing up only your messages, files and photos without the apps and system settings then factory reset? Do that and redownload all of your apps fresh from the playstore then redo all of your system settings all over again. That could help a lot.
Hey,
I actually have a Note 10 plus, rooted with magisk and TWRP, but the Note10 and S10 are very similar, so Ill ask here too (ive waited like 15 hours and got no help in the note 10+ sub).
I have done a full nandroid backup. I restore it with TWRP, and I get stuck on boot, the note 10 screen (not samsung screen), and it never boots. If i restore only data, i get a bootloop.
I wipe dalvik and cache. No difference.
The backup IS NOT corrupted. I tried multiple backups and all is the same
What am I supposed to do? Im completely lost, and found literally nothing from google or here. Also if I flash firmware with odin after the restore, it will boot, but I lose all data, and eevrything. So thats not gonna work.
This is unbelievable and hasnt happened to me when i was doing this last time a few years ago.
I havent had access to my phone in over a day because of this now, its a complete disaster.
Please help. Thanks in advance guys.

I'm not sure, but maybe the nandroid backup isn't compatible with your device.
The thing is that these new phones have a different partition scheme. As you're rooted, you normaly boot on the recovery partition. But when you flash that backup image, maybe it doesn't take into account that partition setting, and that's what messes up your phone.
This is only a small hypothesis, but it can definitely explain your problem. As I've never done any backup myself, I'm not sure about this solution, but maybe try restoring the data on another device, then transfer it on your N10 with USB for example

I am experiencing the same issue.
Device: Tab S 10.5
I am tring to restore a Backup made with TWRP. the restore ends without any error, and when I reboot into System, it stays on Splash Boot forever!!
I though about a corrupted Backup, so went with Fresh Start install + TWRP + Root, then Backup TWRP.
Same issue, stuck on Splash Boot forever!!!
I even tried to unRoot just after the restore, it do not change anything!!!
I also noted that when the Device boot, there is a brif "double vibration", maybe notifying something is wrong.
Hello everyone!
I have a Pixel 4XL, bought it when the phone was released. Phone is fully stock, not rooted or flashed with any custom ROM, the bootloader is also not unlocked.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket yesterday and it was on the google logo loading screen that you usually see when you boot up the phone. I assumed that it restarted itself because it was too hot (it felt sort of hot to the touch). But the phone never rebooted itself, it was stuck in the booting screen forever.
I then tried various ways to restart the phone, through recovery mode etc. However, I couldn't get my phone to boot back up. I have yet to try factory resetting the phone as I do have some files in the phone I really would like to keep. Is there any other way to resolve this without a full device data wipe/reset?
Thank a lot in advance!!

You can try rescue mode and using the tool Google has online. https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/
Depending on the issue and what the tool has to do it may factory reset it.
Thank you! I will give it a shot!
I was hoping that sideloading the May update OTA would revive my phone but it didn't happen so I had to cut my losses and factory reset the phone. I really hope this never happens again...
As my phone was stock and the software never altered, what would cause a bootloop like mine?

A friend had the same issue. It appeared that his power button actually got stuck internally so he tried to press it from lets say different angles. It worked, he saved all his data and was fine.
Hi, sorry for the bad english. My Xiaomi Note 11 worked perfectly fine for months since I bought it, but last night I accidentally left it charging for the whole night and when I woke up, it suddenly rebooted to recovery mode. I rebooted it back to system, which reboots the phone as usual, then I unlocked the lockscreen, everything went perfectly normal, until it rebooted again to recovery mode. I tried rebooting again, but it rebooted again to recovery mode after I unlocked the lockscreen. I tried booting it to safemode, but it went the same way. However, when I leave the lockscreen unlocked, it doesn't reboot itself. I tried turning it off and rebooting it with the screen unlocked but it did nothing. Do you guys ever have the same problem? Is there any way to fix it without wiping the data? I have some banking apps and other data that would be difficult to recover if I were to wipe out the phone.
I have the same problem too, I think it might have to do with the new update Xiaomi pushed to European devices in the last few days. We'll have to wait and see if they push a fix/if we find a fix...
Exact same problem, started appearing today. This is so weird. I already wiped data and the problem persists; went thorough the setup with no issue, and as soon as I finished it and the phone goes to the main screen, after a few seconds it started appearing again.

Can you give us an update if it works? I also post the problem on Reddit and some people there were also able to fix it by wiping the data.
Will wiping the data fix the issue, if it does, please do let us know

I found a way to do so. The problem is that once the phone is unlocked you have a few minutes before it gets booted into recovery mode. So:
Step 1) Have the phone connected to a computer before booting it up, with file explorer in the "this pc" category (where the phone storage will appear)
Step 2) boot the phone and input the password (if any)
Step 3) QUICKLY pull down the notification bar and press the usb options notification
Step 4) QUICKLY press the second option for file transferring
Step 5) QUICKLY open phone storage from pc once it pops up (at this point the phone screen will probably be black with a white loading circle but the phone storage is still accessible!!! You now have a few minutes to transfer any data you want)
Step 6) QUICKLY search through phone storage for any important data and copy/paste it to your computer
Sooner or later the phone will be booted to recovery mode and the mi logo will appear and the phone storage will disappear from the computer so repeat above steps until all your data is backed up.
If a file transfer gets stopped while running, copy/paste the data again on the next "run" and choose to ignore files that are already copied. With this method I managed to backup all my photos and files before wiping the phone.
This problem might be due to a problematic firmware update. My phone was running MIUI version 13.0.12(RGKEUXM) (europe version). I wiped the data and updated my phone to version 13.0.13(RGKEUXM) after setting it up just in case. I will update this thread if the problem reappears.
I am running RGCMIXM (13.0.16.0) and have encountered the issue. Really annoying. Did the wipe all and had no success. I hope someone can help find a fix. No feedback on the issue i logged thru the feedback app to Xiaomi.

Which wipe method did you do? Just a factory reset or a reflash?
