I have the Chinese variant and I'm stuck on 10.3.17, check for updates and nothing, it's on July security patch, I live in the UK so not sure if that's why

The first batch is always on first come first serve basis. If no major bugs are detected, they'll push it again post 72hrs. Wait for the second push.

Received the OTA update today morning. Been testing it. No problems of any sort till now. Everything is working as it should. Did not notice much of changes from 9 to 10.. Only thing new I noticed was the digital wellbeing ...
Guess will have to wait for MIUI 11 for those changes..

Using Dark mode doesn't make changes to all the apps. Also, themes do not apply properly in dark mode.

Update ?: after wasting this whole couple of days searching and reading forums, it seems that all Xiaomi's updates for "Mi 9 Lite" are full of bugs and issues, so I'm going to stick with the old (Global MIUI 10.3.1) Version.
it's the first & the last time i buy a Xiaomi phone. ?
they don't give a sh** about their customers.

Thanks for your reply, but as i see a lot of people reported bugs after updating to this version. but most of it was at the end of 2019. I'm not sure if Xiaomi fixed it since then.

The last update of MIUI 11 on Android 9 (11.3.9.0 PFCEUXM) has a bug with Netflix (no video, only audio) and with WCG/HDR.
I have MI9 lite, updated to android 10 ( V11.0.1.0.QFCMIXM (MIUI11) ) and 100% working. not usin" Netflix", but "my canal" almost the same, at least drm bug too and now it's ok

Thanks for the infos, but that's not the global version. i guess it's EU version. I'm afraid to update the phone to the Global 11.3.4.0 without knowing that Xiaomi fixed the bugs in this version.

that's great! but strange because a lot of users reported many bugs and higher battery usage.
yesterday i spent the whole day reading forums and most users are not happy after upgrading to Android Q (10). so you are lucky ??

I'm using MIUI 11.0.2 (Android 10 with April Google bug fixes) on T-Mobile in the US and VoWiFi and VoLTE are both working great. There are a few bugs, but nothing preventing me from doing anything I need to do. The biggest one I have is file managers (built in and third party) crashing trying to render certain thumbnails.

Yes, I have the same version. My screen looks exactly the same. 11.0.2.0(QFCMIXM) which corrresponds to the global version.

I think it is the chinese version.
I have installed the android 11 version you mentioned above. But i have gone back to the original android 10 because the developer android 11 is not ready for daily use. But it works.
If you like to install, copy the file to the root directory, then enable the developer option and use the build-in updater to choose the file manually.
But be aware, all data will be lost.

Appreciate that you keep updating on this. I've just bought a used nex 3s and would like to install the latest android available, doesn't matter official or custom ROM. I've search around and this post you made seems to be the only discussion I can find about Nex 3s ROM. Any advices on the latest stablel android for this phone please?

the links are dead, can you please re-upload the latest ocean version? it is kinda strange that on vivo cn's website, the latest DL link is still for non ocean version, where as for nex 3, latest DL is ocean version.
or, if you previously downloaded 7.6.6 off vivo's server, do you have the last 10 digits of the zip file, if yes, will try to see if i can grab it off vivo's server, many thanks.

Hey! Yeah I got it too. Don't notice any difference so far, just hope they provide more useful features in future updates or start providing us with JOYUI12. I also don't know if we got the GPU update Xiaomi phones got at the end of April.

Starting from MP4 to this version. CN ver. much smoother than global. I tried it. For CN version need to root it to put Google apps as a system files to iron out some problems like notifications.

How can you compare global and china roms?
Did you flash global rom and then went back to china rom?

Global.MP1 vs CN MP4 , My personal feel that CN MP4 is more smoother.. As i tried the two version. As for global beta, much slower than the official global and CN..

I am oversea now and will upload MP4 once home.. Yes, flashed global and CN.. Take note: some devices will relock bootloader after flashing. You need to unlock critical partition also..

I did the updates and the magisk crashes the safety net error. cts profile. I always did flash rom, flash recovery reboot recovery flash magisk and reboot system I think I made a mistake ...?

Sorry to be pain, I just got Sprint 7 pro 5g And converted into EU version a day ago. So I m really new to this. I was just trying find some kind of time line for updates. Like for instance, OS 10.0.9 (EU) came out few days ago, how long does it usually take 1+ to roll out the 5g version for it. ? Thanks again for ur reply.

No pain no game ..hard to say 5g gm1920 is getting almost same updates as none 5g hopefully soon there is no any schedule. Personally I am finding 10.0.8 as very stable and good battery life no issues at all

Install Oxygen Updater, that's usually where builds appear first.
Battery is better than 10.0.8 ? I had just 5h sot with this build :/

Yes no complains here, 10.0.8 is working really stable for me as well. It took 2 charges to calibrate the battery.
