There are reviews already, like this one:
I'm definitely interested in buying the Global Version since it seems it'll work a little better with T-Mobile USA. Hopefully it goes on sale soon. My OnePlus 7 Pro has served me well but it's time for an upgrade

I ordered the MI11 Ultra in white ceramic today at Trading Shenzhen. 12GB/512GB version. Showed 2 units in stock.
Damn.. been a long time since I was that excited to get a new phone. And the first time I paid that much. But now all my amature camera's can leave the building.

I've considered it, but stuck between waiting for the Global variant and having everything work easily, and impulse buying the China version having to flash Xiaomi.eu and losing band 66 coverage. Also worried about having to deal with a janky China Rom while I wait 15 days to unlock the bootloader

I pulled the trigger on one from trading shenzen after reading that folks were using the Mi 10 Ultra China model on ATT last year with no problems. This has basically the same band support. I can always flash xiaomi.eu if I need to. can't wait to get the phone now.

Nice... Let's share our first impressions here.
I would order one from Trading Shenzen right now .
Only problem is that i dont know if i have to pay VAT or other customs fees when importing it . And the main doubt i got is regarding the network bands , 4G and 5G ones . Will this phone work in UK and european countries ? Thanks in advance , waiting a reply from someone who used Trading Shenzen before regarding VAT or extra customs fees .
Do i risk having no signal if i use it in Europe 4G or 5G ?
On the (Dutch) Tweakers forum in regards to ordering the Mi 11, someone stated:
Tip: select Global Priority as a shipping method, you pay a fraction more for the shipping, but you are guaranteed no extra bill for any import duties.
So I hope that will work as well for us with the Ultra, as global priority was selected automatic.

Why should I buy this phone over the pixel 3,oneplus 7 Pro or oneplus 7t?
OP7 Pro would be a great choice. 90Hz display, UFS 3.0 and the most important one is the richest development community vs the other two. But be aware of that there is some reports of defected units.

Those phones have:
- Wireless charging (Pixel 3)
- 90Hz Display (Oneplus)
- UFS 3.0 (Oneplus)
- Fast near-stock android updates (OxygenOS updates really quickly and is beautiful, stock android is great as always)
- Minorly better cameras (Oneplus)
K20 pro / Mi 9T Pro has:
- Significantly cheaper price (just over half, in some cases)
- Wireless charging can be resolved with an extension
- Display refresh rate can be resolved with rooting android P (Q only goes to 72Hz right now, but 90Hz support coming soon)
- UFS 3 is disadvantage, but not by much!
- MIUI: MIUI11 is amazing, 10 isn't bad, and the phone can easily be rooted to resolve these
- HEADPHONE JACK!!
- Full screen display!
All phones have:
- Fantastic cameras
- Google Camera App support (powerhouse behind Pixel 3's cameras)
- Beautiful displays, even if refresh rates aren't equal
- Snappy processors and fantastic speed (You won't notice lag)
- Long-term OS support
- Large communities (varying levels of support)
All in all: If you have the money, I'd definitely suggest going for the Oneplus 7 Pro, 7T, or 7T Pro
But if you're looking for a phone giving you the best value for money with a headphone jack? I'd definitely suggest going with the Mi 9T pro.
I couldn't wish for anything more (Except a micro-sd card slot, but that ain't there on the oneplus phones either)
After looking into it some more I don't think the limited frequencies/bands are going to cut it with the Mi 9T pro. I'm in the US and using AT&T, as of right now the bands are adequate with the towers I use however my research shows AT&T is actively implementing band 66 for LTE and I like to keep my phones for 4 years or so. I'm coming from a OnePlus 2 so I need to future-proof somewhat if possible.

Fair enough. I use T-Mobile (Technically, Ting, which runs on T-Mobile) so 2/3 of the primary bands (2 and 4) are secure, only missing band 12.
Hi everybody, I'm selling my Zenfone 6z to buy a new phone i love the rog phone 2 also if it has not a SD slot (I use SD to keep documents when I change phone). My question is: is it worth to buy a 899 Euro phone with snapdragon 855+ while next April there will be a lot of new snapdragon 865 phones even cheaper (redmi, realme, etc)?
Second question do both USB type c port support otg?
Thanks!

Well, thank you for your answer, my only doubt about redmi and realme, also oppo, is the software. If I'll buy one of them, the redmi k30 pro is interesting, I change the software for sure, I prefer android stock roms.
it's worth it if you buy tencent version and flash international software. you can get it for as low as 450 euros.

As the collegue above said, is so, so worthy if you buy the 430€ tencent version (now it's around 450€ normally). It's an amazing phone for daily use. Just the camera is an 8.5/10 with A10 (better than A9), but with GCam the results are amazing enough. Buy it!! I bought it like some weeks ago

SD 865 is now the standard.
90 to 120 Hz also becoming standard.
If the heavy weight, lack of 5g, no IR blaster or SD card and average camera aren't a problem for you then this is an excellent all round phone.

Well 5g is not a very big problem, it will take a couple of year to work in entire Italian territory. The IR and SD are options i like, but have you any valid alternative?
I haven't really been looking for alternatives since I got this phone.
A quick search suggested the Poco X2 / Redmi K30.....mid range phone though...

i'll probably upgrade in 2 or 3 years to the newest redmi phone if they keep getting out phones like this
this phone is absolutely amazing for the price hopefully redmi note 11 will also be the same if not even better
also poco x3 users are absolutely SEETHING
Using redmi note 7 from 2019, was looking for a good option for upgrade. I guess I got the perfect one, Redmi Note 10 Pro.

I wouldn't say many poco x3 are seething. spec wise is practically the same except the AMOLED and camera. I'm happy with good panel LCD screen on the x3- won't need to worry about burn-in/bleed if one is a heavy gamer. x3 is still one beast of a phone for the price!
Well Redmi Note 10 Pro (Global) and Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite (Global) are the two phones I'm looking for which for the 6/128 GB variant seem to cost just about the same (~265 €). My focus is on:
DualSIM, dedicated microSD, good stabilized video 1080p and possibly also 4k, very good day and ok night pictures, fast cpu/gpu (Antutu over 250k), Fast LTE with Bands 3,20,7,1,32 (8,38,28a), 3.5mm-Jack.
Both devices have those features. Unfortunately no Snapdragon 8 series devices with dedicated microSD and 3.5mm-Jack exist, so I need to stick to this lower mid-range class.
Redmi Note 10 Pro real advantage of 108 Mpx Samsung5K HM2 f/1.9 over 64 Mpx Sony IMX682 Exmor RS f/1.89 needs to be proven by side by side dedicated picture and video test. With GCam probably because of the slightly better processor in the Mi 10T Lite (Snapdragon 750G) it seems possible to activate EIS for 4k Videos. With Snapdragon 732G this seems unlikely to be possible. Also Mi 10T Lite has 3 of the 4 important 5G Bands in my area, could not find info that a Note 10 Pro Snapdragon Upgrade to 5G will be released (Global, the Note 10 5G is based on MediaTek).
So the advantages of Note 10 Pro (AMOLED, 108 Mpx, Radio FM) currently seem less important then those of Mi 10T Lite. I will wait until detailed camera comparisons are available, possibly with GCam for both devices.
EDIT: I need to correct that Mi 10T Lite (Global) according to several reviews on YouTube has no dedicated microSD (only hybrid DualSIM). Many techsheets online seem to have dedicated. This is a bummer and will leave only Redmi Note 10 Pro (Global) as candidate for my next buy.
5x optical zoom would have sold me, guess ill have to wait for another phone

Been using xiaomi devices since redmi 2 prime, their phones are either hit or miss. Sometimes they absolutely cheap out on hardware. Thing is the redmi note 9 variants have good, stable roms by now but it took months and months to get there, which was an exercise in frustration I'm not going to go through again, so I'm perfectly fine with my 9s and will get this one once/if there are solid roms available with all bugs squashed. Not interested in smelly Mi Ui.

The first stable (GSI) ROM was from sooti. Other non GSI ROMs weren't maintained long before you had to switch to another ROM. That's a pain.
I hope the Redmi Note 10 Pro or newer Poco phones will get better community support.

Need to rant again: I do not understand why in every series and also other brands with a better CPU (Snapdragon 8 series) they omit the microSD slot (not even shared) and in most cases also the 3.5mm-Jack. Is Google enforcing this?
The Redmi Note 10 Pro with Snapdragon 888 (865 also ok) and maybe better RAM specs would be awesome.
Don't worry. Exchange it with note 9 pro, you'll get a wholesome discount of 100$ or 9000₹.

Yeah, but why has it more interfaces-expansion-ports/connectivity then Xiaomi top phones? I would pay more and think the CPU, microSD slot and Jack alone would not make the phone much more expensive (like 600 $ or more). At least Redmi K40 Pro with Snapdragon 888 does cost only ca. 460 $ but has no microSD slot and no 3.5mm-Jack. Since everyone, not only Xiaomi, is doing it I do not understand it: why not use the integration of those two features as advantage to the competition? There must be some hidden policy behind this IMHO
Hah: It almost seems Xiaomi did use the strategy I wanted at least for the Poco X3 Pro (PX3P) presented yesterday! It has a shared/hybrid microSD slot and 3.5mm-Jack paired with a Snapdragon 860 - Antutu ~486k. By comparison the Snapdragon 732G in the Redmi Note 10 Pro (RN10P) has Antutu ~288k - Snapdragon 865 has Antutu ~615k and Snapdragon 888 has Antutu ~730k - so not top flagship performance but solid medium/premium territory, while the Snapdragon 732G now seems more budget level: even the Snapdragon 678 in the Redmi Note 10 (available for under 200$) delivers Antutu ~277k.
In addition PX3P has the advantage of UFS Storage 3.1 against UFS Storage 2.2 in RN10P. But it lacks FM Radio, AMOLED and also has no 5G. The "better" POCO F3 also presented yesterday by comparison is a rebranded Redmi K40 Pro (for Global) with Snapdragon 870 and 5G but no microSD (some sheets say it has Independent SD slot) and no 3.5mm-Jack and also good prices. The Poco F2 Pro at least has the 3.5mm-Jack.
Of course the camera in the PX3P seems disadvantaged with 48MP, f/1.79 IMX582 Exmor for the main lense, but fast CPU and memory are attractive for fast video editing etc. I will try to compare reviews with a focus on 4k EIS and 1080p EIS Video.
It's crazy how Xiaomi is coming up with these phones. Xiaomi is just competing with itself for 350USD and below phones right now

I agree. Some small competitors like Realme and Vivo try to deliver similar price/performance, but because much less models will be selled, much lower community support regarding GCam, CustomROMs (like Xiaomi.eu/mi-globe, AOSP/LOS based, etc.) will be available and so in my case much less attractive at similar price.
OnePlus has left this price territory and other interesting devices from Asus, Google, Samsung, Motorola just miss features and/or cost too much in comparison.
The thing I would like to see on sub 350$ Xiaomi phones is OIS (optical image stabilization) paired with gyroscope EIS stabilization to get top notch videos at 1080p or even 4k and at the same time less shaky/blurry images. But it seems Megapixel of the sensor are the stronger (selling) argument for the time being. In my case a top quality 12-18 Megapixel image is more then enough, I dislike the washed out details at zoom 1:1 of Smartphone best resolution pics on a Monitor screen.
Hi there!
Apologies if this is not the right place to post this.
What do people think of the two devices? I'm curious to hear if there are people who switched from OP to Mi devices or the other way around and why.
Cheers!

I had Xiaomi 4 years ago and since then I have been on oneplus 5t, 6t and 7 pro all the time and I really wanted to have a 9 pro but as I saw the price and the fact that these cameras, apart from good marketing, do not offer anything great, I was looking for an alternative and it was mi 11 ultra. I ordered from china and the 8gb / 256 version came out cheaper for me than the op 9 pro. Chinese rom, but it will easily flash a European one after the premiere.
For me, the advantages of oneplus are:
-minimally better screen
-oxygen os
and that's all
Xiaomi:
- the best (apparently) camera on the market
-innovative appearance
-second screen (I hope it will be useful)
Thanks for sharing. The Mi 11 Ultra does look quite good even if it is a bit heavier. I think OP9Pro wins on the looks, or at least the hand feel department.
The 2nd screen is cool, but I didn't find anything in the settings when I was playing around with it in the store. So I couldn't figure out the customization and the interaction of it. It does react to touch for sure, but it was kind of useless in that situation where no notifications were coming in etc.
Wrong thread . Delete my post please.

even the screen is brighter on the Mi11 ultra.
for me its a no brainer, Mi 11 ultra all the way!
OP9PRO can be compared to mi 11 pro, not ultra, and still lose
OnePlus 9 Pro's advantages:
Samsung LTPO AMOLED panel - more power efficient
Smaller, tidier and more discreet looking camera bump
Superior Ultrawide Angle lens in terms of image quality - Uses the newer and bigger 1/1.56", 1.0µm IMX766 vs Xiaomi's 1/2" 0.8µm IM586
Lighter - 197g vs 234g
Current local availability with trade-ins
Cleaner and default bloatfree OS
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra's advantages:
Brighter screen - max 1700nits
Slightly more responsive screen - up to 480hz touch sampling rate, good for gaming
Largest mains sensor on a phone since the Nokia 808 - Most reviews still pending but it's looking promising
Zoom is miles ahead in both videos and photo capture - 5x optical with a bigger sensor
Can record 1080p 60FPS on front camera and 8k on all rear sensors
Bigger battery
67w wired + 67w wireless charging that charges equally as fast due to new battery technology
Gorilla Glass Victus front as opposed to GG5 on the OnePlus
Ceramic rear back - Defintely feels and looks more premium than glass or plastic imo
IR blaster if needed
Secondary screen depending on your use cases - Notifications, clock, answer/reject incoming phone calls, personalized logos/images to show off from your gallery
WiFi 6e support - nice to have future-wise
Cheaper/identical pricing - 12GB RAM / 256GB onboard storage costs less than OnePlus' 12GB RAM / 256GB storage offering (at least from what I've seen so far)
Bottom line: I'd recommend the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra easily!
Came across your thread and wanted to share my opinion.
I bought the OnePlus 9 Pro on launch day and ended up returning it.
The North American variant of the OnePlus 9 Pro is seriously lacking compared to its variants in other markets. It doesn't come with Dual-SIM capability which was a big selling feature for me personally. The screen is nice but didn't blow me away.
Mi 11 Ultra on the other hand has 1 of the best displays in the market currently in terms of quality/resolution/brightness.
I have had the OnePlus 5T since launch and it has served me well till now. The only downside of getting the Mi 11 Ultra in North America is that we may not get full 5G support. Even the global variant doesn't have most of the 5G bands used in US/Canada.
Does anybody know if Google Pay will work with either the Chinese ROM/EU ROM? The last xiaomi phone I had was the Redmi Note 4.
I doubt it will on the Chinese but it will on the already released fastboot EU ROM. And of course, when it's released globally, it will be on the native global ROM, so you could flash that too.
Google Pay was working for me on Chinese Ron in Mi10 Ultra, so I don't think there should be an issue with Mi11 Ultra.

See:
https://www.xda-developers.com/realme-x7-max-5g-launch-mediatek-dimensity-1200/
The new Realme X7 Max 5G begins at Rs 26,999 in India for the basic 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The top-of-the-line model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will cost Rs 29,999. This makes it one of the greatest and most costly Realme smartphones on the market right now in India.
Reasons to buy :
Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Camera supports 4K video recording at 30 and 60 frames per second.
4500mAh battery that supports fast charging.
Available in three colour options. Asteroid Black, Mercury Silver, and Milky Way are the colours.
I'm of the opinion that Realme has priced the X7 Max 5G appropriately because for less than 30K, you get a phone with a powerful dimensity chip and a great set of cameras.
Guys, we urgently need a firmware dump from your smartphone using sp Flash tool. If you do not know how to do this, write to me. Your data will not be deleted and you do not need to unlock the bootloader.
