Head Unit Dead

Hello everyone, I have a Pumpkin RQ0255 (rk3188) unit: rk3188-eng4.4.4 29032016 firm
What happened is that I wanted to upgrade to the firm Malasyk, but after installation is complete, the unit will not boot again, the screen is dead.
When I press the reset button, the lights blink one second, but nothing happens.
Anyone can guide me ??

You do not have a Pumpkin, they are sellers, you probably have a Klyde but you cant find out until you get your screen on. I suspect that the problem is that the Malaysk ROM that you tried to load looks for a "C" at the end of the MCU name and it is a later MTCC based ROM, you can probably upgrade your MCU to an MTCC one and not have the problem, but first I would install @dsa8310's ROM from here :

I dont think @shawndak's suggestion is likely to help because it is for MTCD units.

Its in the MTCD forum but my unit is a MTCB. So it will work on a MTCB! Just flash the proper factory rom

Ah, I see.
No need to flash the factory ROM - @dsa8310's xposed mod fools the ROM into thinking theres a "C" at the end of the MCU version number, so it will work on any MTCB unit KLD MTCC MCU or not.

Good to know! I did factory after I got the black screen. Was nervous i'd mess it up even more if I flashed a different rom!

Odin Flash FAILED after Ext4 (TWRP not removed)

Hi,
Earlier Xposed was working good i download apk & updated & tired to install the frame work it failed. I was having problem with installing the Xposed Frame work from TWRP it was getting a boot loop i tried 86, 87, 88 version none of them was working it removed /data/data/conf/.de/disable file it did not worked on the xposed it was giving unable to open error.log then i created error.log file with RW,RW,RW permission then check on Xposed it showed error.php permission error then I changed to RWX,RWX,RWX still it was giving the error. I thought to flash my Phone again & reinstall twrp, I downloaded the J500FXXU1BPH1_J500FODD1BPH1_J500FDDU1BPH1_HOME.tar when i try to flash it gives error it show "An error occurred while updating the device software. user Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software" i tried with samsing smarch switch says "Connected device is not Supported"
My device is Samsung J500F

J500FODD1BPH1
I need to get back my phone back please help me.

Factory reset option on unknown device

Hi all.
I have an unbranded multimedia device installed in my car.
I know its cheep and old (OS is 4.1.1)
the only thing that can help identify is that on startup it says 'powered by Uzeb'
my problem is that the device is locked and no apps are allowed to be installed
I would like to root it so ill be able to install a newer version and if not than some apps.
problem is I can not find the option to Factory reset.
I am pretty sure that this option is gone or at list hidden from end users.
the company that installed it at first place demands an extra payment to unlock it back.
so Im trying to do it on my own.
For some reason I can't attach a photo
in About option,
there is a Uboot version - v00.01.13
Appreciate any sugestions.

Android Auto doesn't work that way - apps get installed on your phone, not on the head unit.

so what am I missing here ?
Its a touch screen mounted inside my car.
it runs on old version android and blocked to end users
who wants to update the OS by themselves or to install different apps (or even update the existing ones)
So this is not Android auto and perhaps im not at the right forum
any suggestions on what else can I do ?

Huawei P30 Pro Chinese Model failed to root

I wish i could find help from any 1 here, who has knowledge on how i can root this phone, I've attached apic below,....so that i can install on it android 12 OS, is there any1 with the necessary skills thatbcan help me do it, i hv searched the web but failed to just even root the phn, i don't know wetha because it's a Chinese model and that some how its difficult to do it...i help help,
I tried putting Hormony Os but, some Google apps like gmail n others like Linkin will not have Dark mode amd believe me, it doesn't mata how much you update those apps, dark mode will not work and when i restored back to android 10 it's been hvn, the apps worked fine with dark mode

Beginner urgently needs help rooting/flashing ect. from Z1

Hello, I have an XPERIA Z1 (C6903) with Android 5.1.1 (Bulit number: 14.6.A.1.236). I have now done the step "Unlock Bootloader" via the Sony website. It worked without problems so far. But now I can not get any further. All instructions/tutorials that I have looked at are very old and I can't get any further.
I have now installed TWRP and downloaded the image "twrp-3.0.2-0-honami.img" via the app. But the app says "Device not rooted".
How do I now root the Z1 after the last state? What tools does it need? How do I proceed now in general? Really need help here, I'm totally new to this. Would be very grateful if someone could explain it to me.

We can learn together, i have been trying to get LineageOS 19 on mine and i have gotten so far, phone is just stuck in "Phone is Starting"
