Try to clear data of settings.
Wipe cache/dalvik/system/vendor/data and internal memory

You misunderstood. I did not say wipe data.
When you are at Dot os.
You need to open settings info (long press settings icon, go to app info)
Then choose storage and clean cache and storage data. Your fpc will work.

I did this and it doesn't work.
I did not bother and installed another new firmware from 4pda and the same fix and everything works
great work.
how do you change the device's hostname so it is visible on your router.
most other android 11 roms like pixelexperience enable it by default.
i tried "net.hostname" but it didn't work.
I was having a problem with dotOS_5.0.0_MIMAX2 asking for a PIN during installation, which I didn't use/set in previous rom, but the problem was resolved when I wiped everything and formatted internal memory, not wiped, but formatted. Then it installed without a problem!

I just loved this ROM. Everything working perfectly. Good battery, good gaming performance. However, there is no option to add fingerprints, can anyone tell me how to solve it? Is there any way to overclock it too?

VoLTE not yet. The Video recording was fixed in this rom.
Found bug.. IR Bug..and the video recording is not clear..dark on recording
Does Netflix work with this rom? (Does it pass Safetynet?)

use battery saving mode for now, most non-miui roms has that exact issue, too. specifically, using high accuracy location service while on data will cause a reboot after a while

Clear cache in twrp and Download gps reset app from playstore and calibrate gps...I have done the same now no reboots btw I am using mokee

I hope the Validus build has good deep sleep.
I am on validus ROM. Its one of the best ROM I have trued for mi5s.
Smooth, fluid, best customization and the best part is best battery for my same setup.
I appreciate your support and hope you provide support for at least validus.
This is without any extra battery optimization app or tweak.

I was on the new build and firmware on 3.8.3, I only disabled thermal engine and used akt profile.
For me charging is very slow, do you have this problem too?

Can I hot flash from Crdroid 6 to 7?
I like crdroid very much. I've been using it all the time, but I've come across two bugs that affect use since 'crDroidAndroid-11.0-20210213-wayne-v7.3.zip' and later , Please repair it.
1.The automatic brightness adjustment function fails. It will not change automatically with the brightness change.
2.The distance sensing function fails . the screen will not automatically turn off when you are near your ear when you make a phone call.
I'm now using 'crDroidAndroid-11.0-20210208-wayne-v7.3.zip',It works well.
Please fix these problems,thank you!

This seems to be an issue with many Android 11 ROMs for mata, afaik.
A user who already installed this ROM told me Netflix is having problems playing content and audio of recorded videos and voice messages has low volume. My phone has these issues, worst level, with other Android 11 ROM I'm using.
It seems Chrome is working fine, according to that user. This has been an issue for me with other Android 11 ROM for PH-1, but some users of the same ROM don't have it, as weird as this can be.

Yep...same problem here. My bank-app says "there are no fingerprints registered on the device"
How's the battery life ?
I' ve changed the OS because off the fingerprint authentification problem (in apps) and the battery consumption.
