Are there any mods\hacks for Onstar? I just purchased a new GMC and I am interested in seeing what I can unlock.
Also is there any video in motion or phone to stock radio mirroring mods?

Hi all
have been on these forums for quite a while but browsing etc etc
It seems my D3 does not want to record video with any app other than the standard camcorder :/
3rd party apps record no problem, but video comes out green and pink and you can not make out the video - like a missing or broken codec on a PC sorta thing.
Does anyone have an idea why ? does D3 use a strange codec that other cameras do not have
If so can I install codecs somehow ?
Phone is XT862, 5.6.890, Android 2.3.4
It is rooted, also I safe mode between ICS and stock but had this problem as long as I can recall.
Any info would be handy.
Hi!
After I installed the brand new official ICS-update, I tried to test the video stabilization feature, but I was not able to find it. Even 3rd party apps like Camera ICS+ did not have that option. Was anybody able to enable video stabilization in any app? Is this ICS-feature available for Galaxy Note?
Thanks, Jan
I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to turn off camera functionality of start/finish video recording by touching the screen.
UPDATE: issue resolved by @[email protected], thank you

I am frustrated by an added camera functionality on the latest WP versions - now in order to start/finish video recording you only need to touch the screen - anywhere on the screen. For those of us who frequently uses video recording this is actually not convenient because it is easy to accidentally stop the recording by touching the screen, especially during longer recordings (>3 minutes), or when passing the phone to another person while recording is underway.
I run into this problem again and again, but I would hate to revert to an earlier WP7 version because of this (I am running a nice Dynamics HD2O 2.00b WP7.8 8858 ROM on my HTC HD2). So I am wondering if anyone can think of a way to remove this functionality (or allow the screen to be completely turned off while recording video, as this could also save battery charge) by tweaking registry, or an app that does that, etc.
Thank you.

hi,
You can disable this from Settings>applications>Pictures+Camera

That was easy, thank you very much. Strange that you can't do it from within the camera app itself.

Figure I'll post here as well since this is a question or a request for help...
I just did a clean flash of Xdabbeb's Verizon ROM version 2.1.0. The Camera no longer offers 4K video recording in the list of supported resolutions. Nor does it offer 720p 120fps. They simply are not in the list in the camera app.
Previously I was on version 1.2.1 of this ROM and these modes worked fine.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

Edit:Nevermind, I see you got your answer in the other thread you opened on this.
Hello all,
I just ordered my Mi 9 unit and will be expecting in in a week or so.
I read a lot of reviews but all of them were old (day of release) so i would like to ask if we have updates on the following:
Is night mode/ perf. in low light updated?
Notifications issue fixed?
GCAM works for this model without root? Is low light performance better?Audio and Video recording bitrate better than stock app?
Is there a 3rd party video recording app compatible with the Mi9 that records with higher video and audio bitrate? Filmic Pro or Cinema4K maybe?
I read somewhere that Mi 9 is on Google's official list for the Android Q beta programm. Is that enabled? How do i sign? Am i going to be able to keep stock android once the beta programm is completed?
Is there any toolkit similar to Nexus/Pixel ones that make the procedure of installing 3rd party roms easier?
Thanks in advance!
