TWRP is an open source, community project. A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like LineageOS or OmniROM.

Installation
From existing TWRP or OrangeFox recovery
1. Download the OrangeFox zip to your device
2. Reboot to TWRP-based Recovery
3. Install the OrangeFox zip
4. Reboot recovery
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Starqltechn is for the Galaxy S9, right? Is it for the Snapdragon or Exynos variant? I'm unable to install it on the S9 Exynos device (starlte). It says that it's for starqltech and "this device (starlte) is not supported".
The SM-G9600 is the starlte, but I cannot install it. I use HavocOS rom (Android 10). Does the recovery chek the kernel by chance and therefore refuses to install, because the stock kernel is not installed?
Edit: Well, I figured the q-variant (starqlte) is the snapdragon device. That explains it

{Mod edit: Broken link to kernel source fixed - Oswald Boelcke}
i accidentally format all partitions and flashed stock firmware on my device, touchscreen doesnt work at all only stuck at welcome screen, i assume maybe its the kernel, is there any way to flash this kernel from sp flash tool or mtk client ?
How did you compile the kernel? I just can't understand, compiling with gcc - error, clang - asm/types.h no such file or directory.
