Question Xiaomitool v2 for flash to global - Xiaomi Mi 11

Someone use this for flash from china to global?

try miflash

May I have a few questions on this topic?
MiFlashTool
- if I use it (delete everything and lock it) will I lose my warranty? (official EEA rom)
- Does anyone have the complete packages with all of drivers needed for Mi11 and MiFlash?
Many thanks for the support!

Yes, I tried it but it does nothing more than MiFlash. I ended up using MiFlash. MiFlash has all the drivers needed and, if I remember well, asks you if you want to install them. You have to unloock bootloader with MiUnlock tool before flashing and, If your phone is a chinese one, DO NOT RELOCK bootloader after flashing global ROM.

Flashing Global Rom from Russian Global Rom

I just received my phone today and it came with unlocked bootloader and Russian global rom V9.5.14.0.OEARUFA.
Question is, can I download the updater ZIP file of Global Rom V9.5.13.0.OEAMIFA and use the updater app to flash instead of using Fastbook/Miflash Tools. Is this a safe way? Will it work? Thanks in advance!
Note : It is China Mi8 device.
I also wait for solution... Buy online and got russian rom and unlocked bootloader... What suitable twrp version for this rom because i scare bootloop will happen when install the unsuitable version... And does anyone here already try the miui pro rom from miuipro website.. does it good? Any feedback is appreciated..
The latest recovery-TWRP-3.2.3-0806 will do the trick.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528068853
Flashing with twrp is probably the safest way as mi flash you can accidentally re-lock your bootloader.
Since the OP phone is china mi8. It's compatible with all the rom in this forum (EU, global, etc) with unlock bootloader of course.
I do not wish to change my recovery to twrp. So it's the only way is to use miflash tools? No direct zip flash global from from updater app from phone ?

To my knowledge you can't change channel with updater app. With channel I mean Global stable, Global developer, Chinese stable, Chinese developer etc etc.
So global and global Russia can be used with updater app ? Is that correct?
But if can't, it will only show error and nothing will happen to y device right?

Magisk is probably tricking the firmware to see the bootloader is locked. For purposes of online banking and stuff? I believe bootloader is still actually unlocked.

I have two problems with ROM Global 9.5.31 Beta

Hello guys,
I buy k20 pro, I think its a China version. And i have two problems with this rom(Global 9.5.31 Beta), i dont know what i need do now.
First problem:
Reboots from nothing, sometimes the phone reboots when i use the finger for unlook.
Second problem:
Network(4G) stops to work from nothing and i need reboot for back to work again.
If I need change the rom, what rom i can use for this version? Its easy to change?
Sorry for my english, i dont speak well. Thanks
K20Pro doesn't have any Global beta rom, so your device came with a fake rom. What you need to do is to flash official rom via fastboot. Careful to select only "clean all" option for fastboot flash. Locking the bootloader may brick your device.

The Official Rom for your phone is China Rom. You can download it from MIUI China Forum. However, incase you need Google Apps, you’ll need the 9T Pro Global rom which works just fine on K20 Pro as more or leas they are siblings. Here’s the fastboot link for Global rom. Flash it via Mi Flash and choose the options carefully in the tool. Locking the bootloader would hard brick your device.
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.3.1.0....XM_20190805.0000.00_9.0_global_135788d537.tgz
Remember if you flash the china rom, you can lock bootloader, there wont be any issues. But if you choose to flash global/eu/india rom, locking bootloader will brick your device. So choose "clean all" in the flash tool.

Mi 9 - This MIUI version can´t be installed on this device

Hi all,
i hope someone has an idea how to fix my phone.
The Story:
I bought the 12GB/256Gb Mi 9 Transparent Edition (just sold in China) - it was unlocked by the seller and flashed with official EEA Rom. I bound it to my Mi Account and installed TWRP and then formatted the Phone. I tried xiaomi.eu MIUI 11 rom, but was not happy. So i thought i get the official Global version and flashed it with miFlash Tool. Unfortunately (And i hate myself for it, as i flashed loads of Xioami Phones before), i forgot to change to Clean all - instead it was set to Clean All and Lock - So now the Bootloader is locked again.
And now i own a 600€ pile of junk.
I tried to Unlock again - but mi_unlock told me that "Current Account is not bound to this Device" - and i should go to the Developers Option to bind them. - Well, i would do so if i would not stuck in Recovery (This MIUI version can´t be installed on this device) or in Fastboot Mode.
Is there any chance (beside EDL method, which i do not have the courage to do) to somehow fix this?
I really appreciate all help!
Thanks
If you still have warranty where you bought, take it to them and they'll fix it for you. If not, your only hope left is tespoint EDL.
Did you try to flash latest Chinese Stable rom? Probably you have the message because you cannot flash the Global version as it was Chinese only.

I loose my hope already

So flash that, the latest China Beta then, take it from there.

Thanks, i tried with official tool, but to flash via it, Bootloader has to be unlocked - and as written in my 1st post, i locked it by accident. I contacted the shop where i bought it, they said it could take up to 3 month (Back to China...) -
Cannot believe that there is no other way tough.
beside EDL- u can connect with Mi Flash Tool -- only can install China ROm i had sam prob with Mix 2s i did same and i tried many many times with mi flash tool finnaly its done
Did you try to push the rom using fastboot command? you can try this maybe:
https://in.c.mi.com/thread-334-1-1.html
But I still don't understand why, if you try to flash the Stable version it says "you are allowed to flash the newest develop version...".

Question Need help to set back stock ROM

Hello,
I have bought a Mi 11 yesterday version M2011K2G,
I found out that the bootloader was unlocked on it, but when I check it has a global ROM installed already on it,
the thing is that it's not making any update, so I guess it's not an original ROM ?
I want to put back the original ROM and lock the bootloader back in order to have updates,
can you please help me on how I can do this without breaking the phone ?
or I'm I not getting the updates just because the bootloader is unlocked and if I lock it I will get them back ? I'm just scared if I lock it back the phone will break,
or you think I should install back the ROM and lock it back to get everything better ?
Thanks !
What version of ROM do you have?

here it is attached,
when I check updates it says no update available
Normally an unlocked bootloader has no affort to the update. How did you get notice about that? If your bl is really unlocked I would stay with that.
Are you maybe on latest version? Can you take a screen shot of settings - my device - All secs

I know it's unlocked cause I see the unlocked "padlock" when I restart the phone, other than this I don't have any idea of what modification could have been done to it since I'm used to use my phone the way they come with, thats why I want to get it back to stock ROM or get the updates to make sure it's all good
Here is the latest Rom for eea.
It's interesting that rkbeusf is nowhere to find.
Well unzip the fastboot file put the fastboot files from miui into it and try the installation without locking

if I use the Mi Flash and I don't lock it after flashing it, I won't get the upcoming updates will I ?
I mean, is there any way to lock it back ?
I kind of want to make the phone as it went out from factory
I never used mi flash, sorry.
My first step on new phones are always to unlock the bootloader so I can flash root and restore the apps with titanium.
And I got always updates through Ota.
I switched to xiaomi.eu rom, because it was faster with miui 12.5

thanks man, I will try install this ROM you gave me, I have noticed that when I make "download latest packages" it directly says "impossible to download..."
I wonder why it's doing this
Sorry if I misunderstood you, but you will have to scroll down until you see fastboot then a bit more to 'full rom' and click on the blue button
Edit:
Tested it right now and it works fine for me (download started)
Edit 2:
Seems to work with MI flash tool too:
Found on the mitool side:
Step 1: Download the correct Fastboot ROM on the Windows PC by double-checking the compatibility. Then extract and get the workable extensions on the PC (use the Rom above)
Step 2: installation bla bla
Step 3: too
Step 4: too
Step 5: Then attach the ROM file
Step 6: Switch Xiaomi device into the Fastboot mode. So turn off the device and simply take a long press and hold the keys of Volume Down and Power keys
Step 7: Then connect the device to the PC with a proper USB cable which is in the Fastboot mode
Step 8: Now you can enter the tool interface and check whether the device is connected
Step 9: Then select the most suitable flashing option from all three “Flash all”, “Flash all except storage” and “Flash all except data and storage”
Step 10: Hit flash from the top of the window and wait for several minutes
Step 11: Once the process is done you can reboot and finalize the process successfully.

thanks bro it worked, it now checks the updates and make them when they're available, my wife won't ask the divorce finally haha
one last question and I leave you,
my phone is a 12gb 256 (chinese) if I install that same ROM I installed, will I get autoupdates on it or that version can only update on it's chinese ROM ? any idea ?
For my understanding it will work too. The 12 GB ram is EU is not available but it's only additional ram and does not have an other rom.
... So if you can install and use your phone with that rom you will have no issues with updates

Be careful, don't lock bootloader with a global or EEA ROM on CN hardware, you will brick your phone.
Take care when using Miflash with CN flashed to global. Now you are on production software, best to stay there unless you want to install custom ROMs. OTAs should work now. 12.5.1.0 is the latest for EEA.

Isn´t all Mi 11 CN = China hardware ? I think it is safe to relock bootloader if you are on original ROM. Do you mix hardware and rom with each other.

You don't need to open the bootloader to get rid of the Vodafone ROM.
Just use the XiaoMiTool, follow the instructions and flash the Global or EEA ROM.

False, flash EEA Branded ROM EU?? to EUXM (Global EEA) is like flash a ROM to an another Canal (EEA / CH / GLOBAL / TW etc...), ROM don't have the same signature so it's a mandatory to unlock bootloader for flash / erase ROM to EEA Global.
After that, yes you can flash full EEA rom/update directly from the system.

Probably you missed the fact that the EU rom is a custom ROM and so not official. The only official ROM you can install is the one your phone come preinstalled with. All the others official or not, are not flashable without unlocking your bootloader

No... EU ROM is the Global EEA MIUI Genuine, you talked about Xiaomi.eu rom (Custom MIUI).
You know here a lot of people have some good knowledge.
And you can upgrade without unlock bootloader when it's the same ROM/Country (EEA/TW/MIX,CH etc).
In this exemple @Hunteres can't flash the lastest EEA ROM 12.5.4.0.RKBEUXM under system (on the fly) because he have a vodafone EEA ROM 12.X.X.X.RKBEUVD (phone with custom vendor partition, custom settings and pre-installed apps from carrier)

Hi.
Yeah that absolutely fine with stock EU with mi flash. The bootloader can be locked also on the new stock ROM. I think the only way you will brick is if you accidentally enable anti-rollback and relock. But yeah I done the same thing reflashing over VF ****ty rom and relocking.
