v10D out in uk for sometime now.

Can it play MKV? The baseband is newer anyway.

The 10C and D were originaly for some regions.
This 10C is a flower on the 10A and B.

New baseband. Comments on audio quality and 3G?

Some Norwegian users have reported 10c update today.
Mine is rooted so no update for me unless I go back to stock.

Hi.
I in Thailand my phone come with V10b and I had rooted then flash to CM7 then back to MCK and some other custom rom and todays I see this post so I decide to use LGMobileupdate run on Windows 7 to update with not do any preparetion myphone before (I mean it still cooked rom from Slick2X) and I see that the LGMobileupdate say my phone can update to V10c so I decide to update it take me about 10 minutes while waitting complete my phone display S/W Update please wait and when it complete the phone start with LG logo and then restart again and again so I decide to take battery off and power up while press hold volume down button the phone start with the Android robot at the center of screen and progress bar animation for about minute then go direct to the first page setup and bingo I got it now my phone is
Baseband from 1035.21_20110405 to 1035.21_20110614
Version from LGP990-V10b to LGP990-V10c
So I don't know why my rooted O2X can do this update may be your rooted O2X can update like mine.

If you update via the LGMobileupdate in Windows, you flash the complete image.
If you do an OTA, you only get the update essentials, which is not a complete image.

I have installed LG Updater, but Latest S/W is V10B :?

Mine says 10b is latest as well (Holland)

can you guys check which is latest, just replace 000000 with your IMEI, dont share imei just the link of .kdz file if its 10c

If anyone can get this update via the LG updater, can they please post the .wdb file. it will be downloaded to the LGMOBILEAX folder on Win 7 this resides in the Program data folder.

It says for me 20110226 when I put in my IMEI, dutch phone, bought in store not through any provider. check imei behind battery on sticker in case the CM7's I installed replaced it somehow, but they didn't it seems.

hehe lol, check the sticker behind the battery. it might have been rewritten with cm7 installs.

Flashed with KDZ Updater.exe and it doesn't work. The screen shows the logo like down pictures and keep flashing without anything happen. I guess it's bootloop

Sorry if this sounds stupid..but:
Inside KDZ file is a .wdb and a .dll..
The error could be because the dll from .kdz is conflicting with the model reported by the phone...(??)
Any way to replace the original dll with p970's one?

Didn't tried yet to use P970.dll, but here's the log..
With KDZ-Updater and R & D Test.

I think R&D test tool has some kind of override for .dll by choosing one. There's a p970.dll and lg.dll in UPK thread.

I've already had P970.dll from V10A.KDZ decrypt, but how it can manage? As far as it goes, my conclusion is KU5900 ROM doesn't work with P970.

Maybe you should try to flash it with R&D Test Tool. Maybe it needs Hard Reset at the end.
And also I think KU5900 has different radio from P970.
EDIT:
Didn't saw earlier, that you tried R&D. Sorry.

As far as I understand Russian (from 4pda.ru) with Google translator this is just a localized OTA update from b123 (Emui 2.3) to Emui 3.0 (b613).
Regarding better battery ... I urge you to read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58066826&postcount=70
What works for someone else does not mean it will work for you.

Well if you are confused, I'll try to clear your mind...
Update B613 is the same as B609, the differences are in locale (B613 is localized for Russia) which means that it is optimized to better work on Russian operators, has Russian language, etc, etc. On the other hand B609 is General European update. Now, if you have specific knowledge of your operator equipment (which I doubt otherwise you would not be confused in the first place) you would know that it might not be the same as the Russian (there are a lot of different companies that produce telecommunication equipment). Hence if you use a ROM designed for a country that has slightly different technical specification (that's why it is called localized ROM) than yours than you could get signal drops, battery drains, dead zones, etc. Judging from the flag you have I assume you are from Iran, the first problem that you will encounter is that you'll be missing Farsi language because in Russia they don't speak Farsi!

P7 - problem with local update

Hi all , I have a no root P7 and I have the following problem : the phone tells me this problem :
I tried to flash the original ROM EMUI 3.0 (I downloaded from Huawei website . Then I extracted the zip file and copy the folder "dload" in SD caed) but after a while says "Fail" and the procedure stopped . After several attempts the Rom is installed but I have still yet the same problem . Why ?

When you say from Huawei site, can you please provide the link?

The link of the Rom? I don't understand what has to do with my issue

I downloaded the Rom from Huawei Italia - Download - EMUI (official website) , now I don't have the link .

Upgrading Redmi 9 questions

Hello peeps,
I recently purchased a Redmi 9, it came with MiUI Global 11.0.7 Stable (QJCLMCR). I've been trying to update it through the phone butI haven't been able. Some friends that already have MiUI 12 told me thatsince I purchased it through the phone compnay they modify the ROM to add their apps and stuff anf that may be what's preventing me from updating and I'd have to update it manually if I didn't weant to wait.
I googled how to do it manually and it involded downloading the ROM but they seem to have a different version than mine (QJCLMCR) I don't know if this would work with mine or if I should check anything before installing it. I seriously don't want to mess up my phone so I'd appreciate any help with this. Does this would work with my version or do I have to look somewhere else?

In addition, if I update this manually would I be able to delete my phone company's bloatware and stuff like that or do I have to root the phone after / before updating? I'd appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks!

Bro , from which country do you come from? it seems you are from Colombia . You have an operator modified version of miui, in your case I think it's Claro. You cannot update manually, nor use one of those roms in the image since you can hard brick your phone. You have two options: Wait for your carrier to release the update (which usually never happens) or change to the Global Rom, you must unlock the bootloader and flash via MiTool.
And you can remove the Preinstalled apps with ADB ! (you must be careful!). Cheers!!!

Yes, you're correct, I'm in Colombia with a Claro phone. I guess it's a good thing I asked beforehand. I'd try to change to the Global Rom, thank you for your the information!
