Here is the solution...(It will work for all magisk versions)
1.Uninstall magisk manager.
2.Reboot to twrp recovery. Then Advanced > File manager > /data/adb/
3.Delete the "adb" folder which present inside the /data.
4.Restore stock boot.img
5.Now flash magisk via recovery...it will work now.

I had SuperSU installed (but I needed to hide the root from some apps), and I installed Magisk with the Direct Install method with succes.
I reboted and now is stuck in a boot loop...
What can I do to fix it?
I'm using a Galaxy Note 3 (Android 5) with stock firmware.

I'm searching for my original boot.img file from the firmware right now, but until the download is complete (15 hours :| ), I'm trying to flash the magisk uninstaller and use it with twrp terminal.

Solved it!
I flashed the Magisk uninstaller (Magisk-uninstaller-20180921.zip from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases) with TWRP, and it worked!
Hello
My Device is running on Stock Android Q BN 11.0.5.0
Recently i installed magisk in my device (keeping OTA).
When i install Magisk Module for Internal audio recording and reboot device it was stucked in bootloop.
Then i flashed stock boot img
After flashing i reboot the device and it is rebooted successfully. But Magisk and Root Access has gone.
Then after i again flash Magisk patched img created by Magisk installer but this time it is again stucked in bootloop.
I tried to flash zip with temporary Twrp but problem is not solved.
Currently i dont have Magisk installed.
Please Help Me to gain root access again
Thank you.

1. Reboot to bootloader (fastboot mode) and boot into TWRP (I prefer 3.3.1-5 4pda_edition) in fastboot, go to Advanced -> File Manager -> data -> adb - > modules, and delete all files (directory) belonging to a problematic module
2. Reboot to fastboot and boot into stock boot.img thus checking that it boots;
3. if stock boots, reboot to bootloader and try to boot into magisk_patched.img thus checking that it boots;
4. After that you can make root permanent in MagiskManager, if you wish
thank you bro it diid not work. i tried but not working

Maybe there was still something that skipped your attention. Pls look at scenario:
- patch stock boot image using MagiskManager with, let us say, Magisk 20.1; boot this patched image, make direct install - root got;
- update Magisk to. e.g., 20.3 installing Magisk-v20.3(20300).zip (root got, everything ok);
- play with new Magisk modules, install wrong version, get bootloop;
- make some otherwise correct steps, like reflashing stock boot;
- finally try to get root with boot image previously patched by Magisk 20.1.
Result: no root, MagiskManager does not accept Magisk 20.1., it expects boot image patched with 20.3
Hi there,
Looking for some assistance to root on Lineage OS 17 for my S10. I had previously rooted my stock rom before installing the custom rom. However, I realized that Magisk is not registering on LOS. I tried to reroot via zip on TWRP with no success. Any ideas on how I can root again? Would I have to reroot on my stock rom again before installing LOS?
Thanks

Oh I'm so stupid, I had seen the Magisk boot img in the files but ended up using another one... It seems to work now, thank you sooo much!!
It still cannot pass SafetyNet check (ctsProfile), I'll investigate that...
I had the same issue with lineage 17.1 in xperia z2 when using the latest magisk version 21.4 , solved by flashing an older version (magisk version 20.4).
I am trying root Lineage 18.1 on my s10. I have tried differtent magisk-files from TWRP, but still no root access.
What are the required files for 18.1 for Galaxy s10 and steps to get root-access?

So, after ahard reset tried again following yor guide, still not rooted, after that I flashed stock rom to have a clean install and tried the tutorial I posted using a stock boot image patched with magisk and still no root. Is it possible that I am having no luck and you managed to root yours because of different stock roms i.e. Global vs China or Russia roms?

I tried to root my device with this instruction: https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-x2/how-to/root-howto-t4011357
But I don't installed Manager.apk first. That might cause. But I don't know cause clearly, device was in boot loop.
I tried flash vbmeta and boot etc. but hadn't got luck.
Finally successfully turned on with stock ROM and then installed custom ROM and rooted.
My model is Euro RMX1993(EX)
Here is the what I did:
1. Installed Fastboot flashable ROM with fastboot.
2. Downloaded RMX1993EX_11.C.05 from https://www.realme.com/eu/support/software-update and installed it with TWRP
3. Cleaned cache/Dalwik, Format and Rebooted to system. Finally it's successfully booted up. :victory:
Then I installed Lineage OS with instruction step by step. After turned up phone I downloaded and installed Magisk manger apk from
https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/manager-v7.5.1
Then I rebooted to TWRP recovery again and installed Magisk zip.
Then directly rebooted to System. This time it's booted and root was success. Didn't installed touched vbmeta etc.
I hope it might help someone. It was very long road about 24 hours for me.
Update:
I reinstalled stock ROM and installed apk before flashed twrp &vbmeta. This time it's worked and finally I successfully rooted stock ROM.
Didn´t faced this like you. I installed LOS from RUI and Magisk on the guided way without issues (I have RMX1993 also). What´s your ctsProfile status in magisk? False or true?

I don't have RMX1993(EX) anymore. But below might help you.
If you are on ColorOS (Android 9) or RUI1 (Android 10) then you can directly follow the bootloader unlock tutorials on the internet. But if you are on RUI2 (Android 11) then you need to downgrade to RUI1 first.
I also did the same procedure.
But below is for RMX1901CN Realme X device procedure. I believe it would give you a hint.
1. I found Rollback_RMX1901_11_OTA_1190_all_EyyIUd8KYxPI.ozip (for Chinese version) firmware from Realme X Official Telegram group.
2. Then I opened it from the file manager and the device rebooted automatically and the downgrade firmware was installed. After that, I unlocked it with the DeepTesting app for RUI1 with instructions that I found on the internet.
Also, you might try this method: https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1476520599785316352
Also, comments on this post might help (I have no idea Realme X2 Pro instruction is works for your device but JFYI): https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1478098096796815360
