Just flashed this, and having trouble getting USB-C video out and keyboard and mouse working. Anyone using USB devices successfully with this first build?
I have installed this and it all works perfect. And it's fast and I don't know if it's placebo but I don't see the signal issues anymore when was on stock?
One small niggle is using fingerprint for biometrics. Gpay and banking app.

Yes unlocking the device via fingerprint is absolutely fine and is pretty quick to unlock compare to stock but I'm sure the Devs will try sort this after a few updates. I'm just greatful this handsome device is running 11 and very stable at that

What firmware is everyone running for 18.1? A few message above says to look at the install wiki for mata but it does not state what firmware to use.
Thanks,
JD
Thanks! I was afraid this was an April Fools joke but LineageOS doesn't play! The install process went smoothly. Instructions are good. I like how clean the device is now. I had accumulated too much cruft over the years of owning this device. This is a good excuse to do some spring cleaning. The performance benefits of being unencumbered are huge. The device was laggy and slow, likely due to all the stupid apps I had collected. Now I'm only going to run what I need (not much).

Yes, but 8 lines above that it says:

Yet, none is listed. Hopefully you can understand the confusion.

I know the subject says it is gappless, but we can still flash gapps after first boot if we want, right?
Google assistant doesnt seem to be working - when going into assistant settings and trying to turn on "access with Voice Match" - you cannot enable the feature and it says "something went wrong - Try again".
My bluetooth is dying.

Liking the ROM so far!
Thanks. I tried FlameGapps - nano, and am having better luck.
I'm having an issue with titanium backup too, but its been giving me trouble prior to this ROM. Some apps just wont restore. Titanium just hangs. Others are fine.
The app EdgeAction seems to be killed occasionally. Or stops working. Not sure if its ROM related or not.
I've also got "chipmunked voices" on calls, but turning speaker on and off fixes the issue.
Lowest call volume is really loud.

Are you building with Kuran's trees by any chance? I ran into that exact issue before I switched from his trees to Anay Wadhera's trees for Pixel Experience, it's an issue with the Sounds driver Kuran has as far as I can tell.
EDIT: just looked at who's trees your building with, you're indeed building with Kuran's trees, try with anay's (anayw2001 on GitHub) trees, you'll likely have to do some work just to get things to build, though)

Arm Android 11
I use pico, but you can use what you like most
And i have used opengapps and works great, but there are others
ARM because the phone is 32 bits,
11/A11/R because this ROM its android 11
Pico because it only install the necesary to work, then you can download everything else on playstore
Okay, Gapps are working now, but I had to reboot to recovery again before flashing them, otherwise it says I'm on SDK 29.
I also have issues with WiFi, althoug I used the URL you supplied. Scanning WiFi networks is working, but I can't connect to them.

Hey, did you do the firmware updating as linked in the OP?.....if so, heimdall or odin? I'm concerned about the bright red warning about only using on Lineage 19.1....
I see in the install instructions that it says to use crdroid recovery. Is this a requirement or just a suggestion?
I successfully installed using latest lineage recovery, and MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605.
Really hoping there can be another crdroid release soon.
I had a bit of trouble getting my bootloader unlocked and LOS recovery installed. I managed to do it and then installed latest LOS. But I really want to be using crdroid. Problem is LOS recovery sees the latest crdroid as a "SPL downgrade". Can I overcome this without having to flash stock?
I currently have an older Lineage recovery on my tablet and am trying to flash the crdroid recovery from the op. ADB/fastboot is not working for me while in download mode....what is the procedure to flash recovery? Damn I am missing twrp!!
EDIT: Ok, got it flashed by changing to .tar and using Odin
No sooner did I ask about a new release than one appears on crdroid.net. thanks @DarkJoker360

Known Bugs:
IMS (VoLTE/Wi-Fi Calling) doesn't work due to framework tie-ins used by the LG proprietary binaries.
Find any? Report them according to this guide.
Notes:
The only supported GApps package at the moment is MindTheGapps, linked on our Wiki page about gapps.
This uses a port of Linux kernel version 4.4.

we don't bypass safety net in any way.
Unofficial build passes safety net, though.

If you look at the OP there is an official and an unofficial build by me, the unofficial will pass once it posts
Don't mind me, just passing by to make sure XDA actually notifies me when something comes up on G6's side!
In other words: Hey there G6 community! Been a while since i showed up over here, last time was on @ROMSG 's CRDroid 9.8 BETA for Android 12.1 if i'm not mistaken.
Gonna keep things brief on this message so... those LineageOS releases for G6 going forward are a culmination of all the testing and feedback done on this device ever since that CRDroid beta (actually a bit earlier internally) and even though it does perform well on its current state, we're still counting on you all to report any problems!

HI. And thank you for your work
I noticed that there is unofficial build for H870. I am on Lineage 18.1, so can I dirty flash this 19.1 or do I need to wipe data? The instructions does not have that option, only flash over stock rom with wipe.
I have TWRP.
Thank you

Clean flash needed. We changed a lot.

Also I'd really recommend lineage recovery, TWRP isn't adapted for 4.4 yet.
