I own a Peugeot 2008. It has Android Auto and I've been using it for a while now. Recently I bought a Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite with Android 11 and now it doesn't work. I've tested it also on a OnePlus 8T and the result was the same at first, the second attempt with the 8T refused to even acknowledge that Android Auto exists.
I've tried different Cables, original (Out of the box) and various other cables and none of them help.
Two older phones such as Huawei P Smart and Samsung A70 work fine and without any issues, regardless of cable.
This is the issue I'm getting:
https://streamable.com/3msao6
It continously opens and closes the "USB Connected" tab and keeps throwing me back and forth between Android Auto and the Desktop. Android Auto worked fine for a few days, but now refuses to do so. I've factory reset the car, the phone, installed an older/newer version of Android Auto, cleared my cache and none of this works. Does anyone know what would help?
Seems like faulty wire or connection does your device have multiple USB inputs if so you may be using the wrong one.
I have a idoing 10" Android radio it has 2 USB connectors and one that connects to the cars internal plug.
The same issues happens with the internal due to poor connections
Also check your USB settings via Android device.
Or it may be incompatibility ot head unit due to not supported the current version of android auto.
In all opel / vauxhall corsa of 2016 and back, Android auto stopped working after a forced update of AA. I found a solution in my case by searching internet (for corsa). If you start Google voice, AA works. So i made a tasker script and all is ok again.
I would try with another phone, and if it still doesn't work, search internet for the car if it is generic problem.
I'm having the same issue, did you ever find a solution to the issue?
I also have the exact same problem on a redmi note 7.
I have tried everything, clear cache, uninstall, update, developer options, dual applications ... everything I have been able to find in different forums.
Problema resuelto.

Grazie
I can't help you I don't have a wii, but I had problem connecting my eeepc to wmwifirouter too. I managed to connect by enabling "ad-hoc" connection.
Unfortunately it seems that the wii cannot connect in ad-hoc mode, you can try googling "ad-hoc + wii"
Hi,
Noob here. I have an RKM 802IV (4.4. KitKat) with SuperUS installed that I have upgraded to SuperUS Pro. I also have the Hola App installed and thereby the problem.
Basically Hola does not work properly on the RKM while it works on every other device I have installed it on both Windows and Android. The RMK is the only "rooted" device and I I have read that Hola needs SuperUS Permissions but it has never "requested" them.
What I mean by does not work is that I am based in OZ and am a Netflix Subscriber, when I try to use Hola to access Netflix in the USA, it says it is in the USA but then it accesses Netflix in OZ? On every other device/system it works perfectly but not on the "rooted" RMK with SuperUS.
Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Update and Possible Resolution
Hi,
Just an update on my problem. I have been discussing the issue with Hola Support (Skype) and they passed it on to their R&D.
After numerous updates to Hola this week the RKM802IV is now working, for me, with SuperUS Pro and with no Permissions Problems.
Streaming Netflix is no problem but other sites e.g. CBS still need some work, as picture quality sucks.
Regardless Hola Support have done a fantastic job and have now seemed to recognized "mini pc's" as important to their development.
Thanks and Regards
laopa
Not the App, it was the Ethernet Apapter
Don't know why I putting myself out there as an idiot but just to clear matters up.
OK, quick update.
Physically the RKM802IV is connected to the "dumb" Samsung CD via a HDMI Cable. For the Internet connection there is a NetGear EX6200 Range Extender, literally next to the TV. The Internet WiFi signal to the EX6200 comes from my Router/Modem, a Fritz Box 7490, which is about 10-15 meters away from the EX6200 with a clear line of sight.
Now when I connect the RKM802IV to the EX6200 via WiFi, Hola/Netflix does not work - even the latest versions (844) however if I connect the RKM802IV to the EX6200 via an Android Compatible USB to Ethernet Adapter (has three extra USB Ports = <> $10 Aus$) then Hola/Netflix works????
No idea why Hola/Netflix does not work with a WiFi connection and then does with an Ethernet connection to the same EX6200 Range Extender - over a distance of <> 30cms.
Whatever Hola may or may not have done with updating their App it would appear the problem was fixed by the Ethernet Connection?
No idea!

Seems mtp is not working as expected, by default is set to charge, I set it to mtp manually and 5 seconds later it reverts to charge giving error in my car's screen ... Any ideas?
nobody having issues with this phone and android auto ??
I just paired mine, the protocols were phone, text msg, and music. I don't use music so turned that off. But I can tell you that the usb settings, like mtp and charge, but also aptX (other settings for bluetooth), aren't persistent for some reason. The best workaround I've found is to bring up settings and change it back manually, and leave settings open. Seems to stick then until, yup, you close settings.
A2 android auto entirely broken.
Same problem here. Android auto entirely not working in my brand new Kia portage. My other phone xiaomi note 4 works fine. The a2 isn't working and won't let me change the settings from charging to mtp. Hopefully an update will fix it.
Same here any news how to solve this?

It looks like no one know how to make work Android Auto with a car on Xiaomi Mi A2?
I've used Android Auto in my Mi A2 without problems, used in Renault MediaNav and Pioneer units. Sometimes the problem is your USB cable, I tried with a Huawei USB-C cable and didn't work(the cable is thin than original), also with a cheap cable (also thin than original)
and get the same result, with the original cable worked like a charm!

Thank you! Probably, I'll try some short cable, not original one. Actually
two times I got connection for 5-10 min. But with the same cable old Samsung Note 3 (Android 9) works very good...
Some tips about Android Auto and Xiaomi Mi A2:
Works OK with VW Tiguan by install new v. 5.7 , but after latest update Android Auto (v 5.7.603964) connection to the car stop working!
Downgrade to v 5.7.603944 make Xiaomi Mi A2 and VW works again.
Hello,
i have a P30 Pro with the Firmware VOG-L29 9.1.0.178(C431E4R2P2) and a problem with Android Auto.
If i connect the P30Pro with my car, there is a connection error.
The USB Settings on the phone switch automaticly to only charging. If i switch to data transfer it changes automaticly to only charging.
On the last Firmware i have no problems with the connections to Android Auto.
Have anybody the same probleme or an idea?
Thank you
Lapidu
Sometimes, I have to select the data transfer setting two or three times before it will connect to the car. But it always works after 2 or 3 times. USB debugging might also make it work better.
I have no problems and never had. Also i never changed the connection mode, nor did i enable usb debugging. I'm using the original cable, though. Some cars/phones seem to have problems with cheap usb cables, my dad also noticed that but is fine after using the original one.
Was it working once? Did you registered the car in Android Auto or has is failed ever since? Is there a message on the phone?
Witch firmware do you have? And what for a model?
Worked on every firmware since beginning (185 atm). 128 GB Version
I have similar issue, the connection "dies" everytime I connect it to the car for the first time after being parked. Takes about 1-2 minutes, then it disconnects. I haven't investigated what the phone does, but my quickfix is usually to plug the cable in/out. After that, the connection is stable. The issue started around .162 or .165
Hi all. I have this problem as well. Just bought a carplay, but my P30 Pro (Android 10) wouldn't connect at all. I tried with different cables, including original one, still no luck. WIth any other cable it works fine from a Samsung Note 10+. Any idea?
I have the same issue with my P30 pro and civicX
After emui 10 I just can't use android auto in the car.
I have the app on my phone, and it works on the phone. But when I connect to the car it wont work.
(all the Samsungs and apple that I have home work perfectly)
I'm using emui 10 and android auto.
I have the same problem as all people here.
After usb plug, only charge (that's not important) . Some times connects at first time and some other i have to select other usb connection mode (i discovered unplug cable is not necessary)
Will try to change usb cable with the original one
Hello there! I'm trying to connect my P30 Pro with Android Auto on a Seat Leon. I always receive an error message and the connection with android auto always fails. I tried to enable Usb Debug, to install old versions of AA on my phone (for example v. 5.3 and v. 5.4). I'm using the originale data cable (actually two of them since I have two P30 pro at home). AA worked well with my old Samsung Note 8 and Mate 10 Pro. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you!
you guys need better cables, use the factory Huawei one and you'll have no issues.
I'm using two original cables (I have two P30 Pro at home). It isn't a cable problem but probably an issue with Android 10 and Android Auto. This problem affects different recent models of Huawei (P30 pro, mate 20 pro..).
Hello there! Just an update, AA doesn't work only with the Seat Leon. I tried other cars and everything is ok. I will try to update Full Link Seat.. It should solve the issue. Byee

I had android 10 and 10.1 stock cable a no issues whatsoever. I just traded phones with my little bro for a s10e ??
Hello! My p30 pro can connect with Hyundai kona (2021) via usb cable. But in wireless mode, the coonection has issue: the wificonnection is over the 4g+ connection, so, I don't have mobile data on the kona's device. What can I do?
I have issues with my LeEco Le 2 regarding screencast. On the stock EUI 5.8 ROM, the interface of the cast crashes. Later on, I decided to get a custom ROM. I used Havoc-OS 2.8 on Android Pie. Still, no succes with casting. The OS even hot reboots whenever I connect to a wireless display. Have you experienced the same? What solutions are needed? I'm thinking of maybe a type c to hmdi adapter but some people say it isn't supported even in the Le Max 2. I'm thinking it's more of a hardware issue.
