Thank you for the continued updates for the device, @GenXinvenits !
Would there happen to be a link to the source files / build manifest for the rom or a git web interface such as github or similar?
Thank you very much developer for this rom, it is the best I have tried so far, I have installed it for a day and I have not had any failure, everything works wonders.
Please provide proper sources for kernel/rom/device. The one you have mentioned is for pie and not applicable for this thread
Thanks a lot. Its awesome. All things are running perfectly. But I cant enable my fingerprint sensor, even I cant find the fingerprint option in my device. Please can you tell me in details how to fix fingerprint problems.

How is the sound from the speaker phone ? Is it High Treble ? Or balanced like in Nougat based stock ROM ? I like sound from Speaker Phone balanced not High Treble, my daily driver is Mi Max 2 which I use for music videos and YouTube daily 3-4 hours during workout or at work
Thankyou @GenXinvenits For Your Efforts And Dedication To This Device ...

!! Anyone else with same query ? I want to try it however I always do a Clean Wipe and install of any custom rom and this time I have a lot of data to restore after doing a clean boot .. which means hours of data to be backed up before proceeeding. .
Just a simple question ! Hows the sound ????

Sound Is At Its Best!!
You will love it ...
This rom has the best sound i ever expirience in mi max 2
Its ok guys !! Just got my answer..
Audio from SPK Phone has HIGH TREBLE !! Which I am not fond of .. No Doubt call quality is extremely good as the TREBLE quality is super high however I use the SPK phone for Conf calls and playing music videos.
Again Dolby keeps bombing out and doing FC even before I can start playing anything so thats a Bummer.
During REboot the phone goes into Startup Logo REBOOT indefinitely and left there even for 30 mins in a single GO and still the phone doesn't come back to Home Screen ...
So I will revert to my previous Stock Beta ROM (Not Stable as I hate stable ROMs)
Till Then best of luck to the developers and if and when the ROM gets updated I will come back !! Thanks anyways and Cheers
First thanks I truly excellent ROM . So far i have only one issue with Bluetooth. It connects to the car and plays music. It accepts phone calls , I can hear other person but they can not hear me . Car works fine with Pixel 3xl and

There is a bug with specific bluetooth devices. I think you are unlucky, developer tried to fix that issue at cherish 2.4, dowvload and try it from the same download link.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

thanks so much for creating a thread.
any news on the source kernel release state?
ps: can you add a donation button for your profile?
fyi: installed the latest version over the 122 Build with wiping dalvik chache after, works properly without any bootloops.
I have a weird bug... on every startup the Alarm (set for the next morning) starts ringing. This was the case on the 311 build for me as well.
Some (dumm) questions to clarify...
Hey,
i was following the discussion in the other thread - also a big thanks from my side and a really cool!
Questions:
1) I don´t really get the comment to the multi touch problem. Yes there is a link but do i need to actively flash something after installing latest build? Or does it mean there is a work around integrated with the last build with the specific code from the link.
So: Yes - you still need to flash something for multiply touch support OR No - all is good for now just flash it!
2) Sorry, just want to be sure - Google Apps: ARM64 Version right?
Yes right ARM64 / No, its wrong
3) If it happens that there will be also a official Linage OS buid, can i just flash it than without wipe/reset the phone or do i have to install it new? I know we cant say it jet but:
A) You will need to wipe - for sure!
B) Likely you will not need to wipe.
C) It is absolutly open and nobody has a Glas-Ball to find out jet, so 50/50
4) What is "Live Display is software inly" - i could not find out what is meant with "Live Display" via Google excatly. Sorry if it is a dumm question.
Thanks so much for making this development possible. Hope my questions are not too dumm ones and fast and easy to answer.

Hey there!
Everything works as expected (camera bug is still there - as expected), the rest is flawless.
Thanks for all the hard work!
Please (I keep requesting this), could you (or somebody else contributing to the build) add the hardware button switching option (using the already working script from @ru1dev) ? It would be great to have it embedded in the ROM. I am sure many people want to use the Nexus/Pixel/Stock navigation experience (back, home, recents button order).
There seems to be a "bug" in all these builds: Pixel icons (from Open Gapps) don't seem to work (they do in other ROMs based on @xiaobai112220 's sourcetree). Maybe I'm just doing something wrong... don't know - but I can live with that.
Thanks a bunch! Keep up the good work!
Install in progress....

Today's version is very fluid and very stable. Thank you 谢谢! I can only imagine that you will make a perfect Lineage firmware once Xiaomi releases the kernel source code for Mi5s. :fingers-crossed:
You did it, now i can like my mi5s. We will feedback any issues and it's going to be great. Thank you for taking the time and doing it.

Hey, just tested the rom - like it!
I have one bug:
When trying to set up fingerprint sensor for unlocking from lock screen, the wizard/app always crashes. So i was not possible for me to set up a fingerprint to unlock the device.
Anybody has the same experience or is it only me ?
Thanks for the rom again!

Hi @Wastman86, I set up four fingerprints during the initial settings configuration without problems. I've tried right now to set up another fingerprint and it works fine ?
Maybe you forget to wipe cache/dalvik after flashing the ROM...

Ok interesting.
I did a wipe before i installed the ROM but not after.
It should make no difference to clear the old "files" from the previously ROM before or after flashing the system partition, right? I might be wrong though...

Working on brightness issue.
For screen color I already mentioned the temp fix. It only happens when we reboot. Otherwise ot works normal.
Thanks for the rom, it is working as expected but with some hardware incompatibility. Is it made from sources or did you port it from other devices like redmi note 4?

GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your MOTO G 2015, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Will post a full review soon...
Just flashed it.
UI was very laggy after first boot so I did a restart and that fixed the lag.
It is smooth now with a bit of glitches here and there but smooth for most of the times.
There are no major bugs.
Everything is working fine.
Best pie ROM for osprey no doubt.
Will post if I found any bugs.

Cool
Hi, I install yesterday, all was good but this morning my phone didn't response and I need to power off with long press on the power button, after the boot all the system parameters goes to default, I configure one more time and after one hour same problem. I return to the old rom . It's a pity.
It is a excelent rom but it is not recommended to osprey with 1GB from RAM, very laggy in my XT1543. As recommendation is to include a option to remove the search bar, it is ugly and unnecessary, I think.
Hello everyone, does anyone notice that mms (image text message) is not working on any pie rom? I tried 3 different latest pie rom and same problem each time. You can send text but not images! Changing APN is useless or not working.
Except that, it seems that you've done a great job with latest rom , everything else works great ??

Hello everyone, does anyone notice that mms (image text message) is not working on any pie rom? I tried 3 different latest pie rom and same problem each time. You can send text but not images! Changing APN is useless or not working.
Except that, it seems that you've done a great job with latest rom , everything else works great

1. Download the ROM and Gapps package (optional)
2. Boot to recovery.
3. Wipe Cache, and Data (you might need to format data partition!).
4. Flash ROM.

Ty for your work
Can you already tell if it's stable and ready for daily use? How is battery life compared to stock ROM?
NFC is not working for me. Also can't get the phone working with 2 different car android auto head units.
Hi and thanks for you work on this phone!
I only tested for a short time, but there are things that need attention.
- Bluetooth audio not working for me
- FOD only active when the display is on (MIUI always on)
- When using auto-brightness and FOD: display flashes to max brightness for a second
- When using pattern and FOD: on device reboot it requests pattern input, but FOD is partially covering it up
- Notification bar looks weird in a few app (too tall) for example in LINE
- Notification bar needs like 10px of padding on the sides to make up for rounded corners
- USB debugging turns back on on device reboot
I can provide photo, video and logs if you tell me which and how.
Everything else seems to work great so far!
Battery life equal or better than MIUI (with light usage)
Thanks again and have an awesome new year!

Right after rebooting and putting in the PIN:
After trying FOD once, says "Pattern required after restarting the device" on top (out of focus) and shows pattern dialog.

Working hardly to fix all bugs :3
I have only 1 month with the phone and for me it has been strange to be all this time with the global stock rom.
Always in all the xiaomis I have had after unboxing I open boot, install twrp recovery and flash some custom rom, mainly the EU but also Lineage. It was an unpleasant surprise for me not to find custom rom or developers for this phone. So I appreciate very much what they are doing especially because the cell has been on the market for several months
Thx @xSylla
Thank you so much! I really can't stand MIUI, and I can't wait to flash this unofficial LineageOS or even RevengeOS. Unfortunately I use Bluetooth audio almost every day, so I have to wait at least for it to be fixed on LOS or ROS. Thank you again!
EDIT: Ho visto che sei italiana e del Sud, grande!

Maybe something problem just try again with fresh Installing Rom, if still same then install another working Rom & get back to install this one with data partition format.
No bro it doesn't work tried everything when I installed it and reboot and when the setup wizard appears it reboots in 1-2 seconds should I flash miui 10 first before flashing it ?

My experience of using this rom like about 2.5 hourr
Games are very stable this rom doesn't even feel that it's a custom rom everything feels like miui
Battery backup is pretty good I was having 56 percent and after few hours it's 42 percent
The UI won't lag at all I was expecting bugs in UI but it's smooth like butter
Ram manegement is a bit than miui but it doesn't affect its performance
Games like Minecraft gives 49-54 fps which is good in term of the specs of this phone
Overall conclusion is that this rom is very stable than the Android 11 and miui so don't think just install it

Hello brother..
Can you help me test if the game Ace Fishing (https://play.google.com/store/apps/....normal.freefull.google.global.android.common) runs normally on this Rom? On most custom ROM this game would just force close when launched.
U don't need to download any additional data, just install and launch it and see whether if force close or not.
Ok I will try , I tried and there is no force close as said this rom is stable u can get a fc when running many apps in background
One thing I spotted is the lag in scoll of play store and YouTube which was also in miui I think that the cause of this is a old snapdragon 650 or if it is fixable pls suggest
