I don't think it's that bad.

I'm going to get one of these as soon as they get their complimentary cases. I'll remove the case after the 14-day eval with Sprint (and I decide I'm keeping the phone). I hate cases, they cover up the beauty of the phone. My OG EVO is over 2 years old, no scratches.

It's just too thin for me as I'm afraid I might drop the phone someday. It doesn't have raised button covers and the kickstand doesn't hold the phone upright as much as I'd like. I ended up getting a thicker hybrid case with a kickstand that I'll use instead.

This is what I have, not too bulky, not that thin, I think it's enough protection (I hope ..)
The stands is really easy and convenient, pop in and pop out, looks like it can lasts pretty good.

Stock OEM battery door

I''ve been looking for a replacement for the basic battery door and everything I've seen on eBay is like $30 for the OEM version, and I couldn't find any through Samsung directly.
Would love to hear any tips if people have found a source for plain old doors.

If you call Samsung they will sell you one. I called and ordered one for my S2 directly from them.

Ive seen some on ebay for 10 that claim to be oem. Can anyone give me a price range I can expect to pay for a real white back cover? I have the international version if that matters(i would prefer a cover without a carrier logo)

Every Samsung Logo from 2015 and newer uses the Second one, which is not this smart S anymore. As you say, it is just a normal boring letter.

You must have different bacon cooking techniques to me. I generally add about 3-4x extra serves in, and share some, or risk dying of every possible heart disease known to man.
Come to think of it, explains why I'm so popular when I'm cooking........

I suspect we have different cooking techniques in general. Mainly, you have a technique and I burn the place down by even so much as looking at the stove. :laugh:
My firealarm goes off if I even so much as consider cooking anything. Not kidding, it went off when I grabbed my toaster. It wasn't even plugged in yet. :silly: Either I'm a terrible cook (I am), or that thing simply doesn't trust me with anything flammable. It has a point, I managed to set fire to a skillet. Filled with water. On an electric stove. :angel:

Second logo is better. It fits in better with the newer Samsung design language. Samsung needed to unify the Galaxy brand with both their S series and their Note series so I can definitely understand why they moved away from the first S.

The second is better.

The Launcher is responsible for this. Check in its settings or change to the one that suits you. Good Launcher to Evie, Lawnchair, Poco Launcher.
