Hi, this is I flashed 5 days ago, all is working great, I am facing only 1 problem, Viper is going off after screen off. How can I prevent this? Have any solution?

Try to disable battery optimization for the app...

In stock emui 5.0, i installed Viper through magisk and no problem whatsoever, of Viper being disabled, after screen off.

disable battery optimization for the app.. tw1st3d83 was replayed this in thread
go in settings>battery>more settings>optimize battery(somethink like that, i use different language not eng in rom)>show all apps>music> dont optimize
same to viper
my bad.... thouth that you use RR
for stock emui5 go in settings>battery and there will be option to close apps when screen is off. Go in and uncheck viper and now app will not close after you lock phone

How to fix usual bugs?
Can't see phone dialer when calling someone?
Go to settings -> Default Apps -> Phone -> Set Phone app as default.
Fingerprint force close? Can't add a new FP?
Go to settings -> Privacy -> Lock screen method -> Select PIN or Password.
(It's because you can't use a gesture lock screen for fingerprint)
Google Pixel launcher doesn't show notifications for new messages/ missed calls/ etc.
Well that's because Pixel devices don't support badge icon counter. You may find something in play store or use Nova Launcher instead or something.

Tried V4A fix and doesn't work, it installs drivers, but if i go to driver status it says:"Enabled:No", how can i fix this?

First install init.d light from F-Droid. Then use Magisk modul.

Now it says:"Enabled:yes, Processing:No" so still nothing.

Oh... forgot Busybox. For me its working. Hope that helps you too!

SoT is great. Everything worked mostly smooth. But one thing, i can't connect with my MiBand 2 on BT. He don't find it.

I just flashed this great ROM following the instructions and I'm facing this phone bug
I'm not sure about the first point: The standard phone app is set but I cant't see the phone dialer when calling someone nor hear him. Is there a workaround?

Finally my solution was to enable 3G for phone calls. Everything is fine now.

You need to change your habits... Uninstall apps that you do not use, uninstall any magisk or xposed modules that do not use etc...
Im getting around 6h of sot after changing my habits and uninstalling unnecessary apps and sh*t

Mi8 pro - unable to toggle accessibility services on/off

Hi guys,
Already posted in official miui forum but no luck there. I have many apps installed and one of them (or more?) are blocking the accessibility services options. So whenever I try to switch them on , there is a message that sthing blocks them and i need to close it.
How can I identify what app is causing this?
Phone is rooted with eu latest beta rom 9.1.24
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was running the global stable rom but installed global beta today and still don't have autofill.

Where does one find that setting?
It has always prompted me on every non MIUI phone I've used

Question MI 11 ULTRA CN NOTIFICATIONS

I just got my hands on the mi 11 ultra, few days back I made the switch from oneplus 7 Pro.
my major concern right now is notifications from Instagram, Whatsapp & messenger.
So far I have tried, Battery restrictions, auto start, lock app from recent taps & active notification (from developer options)
however I am still unable to get instant notifications on idle screen. sometimes the notifications are delayed by few minutes or they wait for my attention (till i unlock the phone or open the particular app)
since I run an ecommerce business these notifications are crucial for me.
Kindly if anyone has been successful do share what worked for you?

Unlock your bootloader and flash global rom. Best rom for 11 ultra.
I switch between china stable, eu, and now global. No bug and great performance

Global Rom is super performing as well as chinese especially if you play with root. Obviously chinese rom is kore advanced as it works under different regulations and also more updated

Just based of my research I think to use another ROM unlocking the Bootloader & rooting is required & by doing so, I will loss out on a lot of local (middle east-KSA) apps which are of essential use to me.

If you flash the eu ROM all the banking, payment and finance apps work fine

1st: change to global rom, same miui, but for global users, only need to unlock bootloader, no need to root
2nd: u will not lose any apps (dont know what u r talking about)

Whatever you do you want get perfectly timely notification in china rom. Just switched to global rom that's only option.

Did you try to give full permission to Google play services and Google services framework? Also allow autostart to it. Check if by doing so whatsapp start working as intended. Afaik whatsapp relies on Google play services to function properly. On Global rom Google play services is a system app on china is a user app, the problem is that

Don't know what all the app want, but I think if u dont root your phone, it will be ok
And u can relock your BL and come back CN rom anytime if u want

Couldn't find auto start or permissions for both google play services and services framework.

If you could direct me to the thread on this forum with complete guide to switch to global rom it would be appreciated.
I am willing to give it a try since i have my OnePlus for backup

The option in developer options on Android 12 has not been removed. It might just have a different name.

So if you translate this on English what would it be ?

I has the exact same issue. Turns out I just had to disable and re-enable dark mode for it to work.
Note that I did have all my apps listed already in that setting.
