Is there any way to have the navbar hiding and swiping gesture behave like LMT pie controls? Where you swipe up and the action is executed once your finger touches the button? The current stock way has an annoying middle step of swiping to make the bar visible first, and I'd like to eliminate it. Currently using LMT and while it works I prefer the "bar" style to the "pie" style.
I am missing two actions from the conventional virtual navigation bar:
Double tap on the recents button to switch between the last two opened apps
Notification menu pull down button
Is there a way to set the actions associated to the gestures in the off-screen navigation button?
It that were possible, I would reconfigure the swipe left to the action 1 and swipe down to the action 2 above.
OK so I use this substratum theme that gives my the pixel 2 navigation bar on my note 8. The only problem is that when I press a key on the navigation bar it registers twice for some reason. (I.e I press the back button once and it backs out twice.)

I am trying to achieve gesture navigation close to android 10 on pixel devices. Using QuickSwitch and LawnChair q build and enabling Samsung's full-screen gestures, I've been able to get all the gestures to work. However, only the recent button is acting as the hotspot for gesture navigations and the home and recent buttons perform their original tasks. I am wondering if there is any way to extend the recent button to cover the full bottom of the screen and remove the home and back keys (maybe using adb commands or modifying systemui apk). Thanks in advance!
I tried the new navigation gesture with "Swipe from sides and bottom" but both the left an right swipes act as "back button", I cannot bring the recent apps screen on with the side gesture.
How to fix this ?
You get recent apps when you swipe from bottom like for the Home but do not release the finger for one more second.
