Thanks, man. The economy's kind of messed up at the moment, but at least I'm getting through school just fine. This forum's really cool, and it's got the right stuff to customize my stuff.
(for anyone who was curious about my OEM lock thing i went in depth here; https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oem-unlock-tragedy.4270303/)

Well, I'm off to Kuwait.

I'm quite sure many of you have no idea who I am, but that's alright. I wouldn't expect you to.
Just wanted to give my appreciation to the MANY MANY devs here, in thanks for making my old devices much more than the manufacturers intended them to be.
I'll be serving one year of Active Army Duty (Deployment) in the Middle-East & Surrounding areas, hopefully still enjoying my HTC HD7, until around July of 2012.
I'll miss xda, as it's been one of my other homes for a little over two years now.
Love you guys, see you soon!
Have a great trip Be safe now!

Best of luck to you man, come back safe, or just be safe in general.
-Remember, Android hell is a real place and you will be sent there at the first sign of defiance-
Take care! Thank you for serving!
Good luck and be safe. I had the luxury of serving during peacetime, and I tip my hat to guys who are really putting it on the line.
It is a shame that troops are deployed without an imminent reason anyways..
have a great trip

11. almost midnight here in Northern Toronto, a city called Markham in Canada. chilling out for the weekend with some Monstercat tunes (electronic, like dubstep, techno, house, trance, etc.), some beer, some GTA V (PS3) and some good ol' PC (ARMA 3, Battle Royale Mode, DayZ, CS:GO). about to buy some Chinese food. and as always enjoying XDA, 9GAG, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat.

12. 10 past 4 in the afternoon on a beautiful day in Auckland, New Zealand. Too bad I have to spend it on biology and stats, huh?
By the way, this is a great idea. Keen to see what comes out of it.

13. Howdy people! Posting here from a very hot summer in manila (~35C) while listening to the radio, cooking smelly fish, and doing some SNS while on WiFi, eagerly waiting for the 4.4.3 update.
Anyway, there's a post count in the upper right corner of every post so counting is a little bit redundant, no?

Hello From The Boonies of Idaho!

New to Android tweaks, but not new to computing. I live on 5 acres in southern Idaho, have way too many cars and want to expand my horizons.
Just bought a Samsung A53 and am enjoying the upgrade from a Samsung S7. Yeah, I used it for 7 years. I guess in phone land that's a really long time, but it worked great for me, so I stuck with it. Now I don't know what to do with it's dead carcass.
Anyway, happy to be here and am looking forward to learning something new.
Thank you everyone,
Michael
