Hello to anyone interested enough to read this.
Joined the forum after purchasing (very reasonably), an "Efun nextbook ares 8" which has been abused.
Needed to unbrick it, and found all the info I needed here.
The thread was informative and the reposted links for rom pakages etc all produced what I required.
Therefore seemed rude not to join, as this nextbook is likely to be the 1st of many tablet/phone projects.
Best wishes to you all.

Welcome to XDA! Enjoy all the forums development and information! Cheers

Hi everybody,
Let me introduce myself. I'm M_T_M , your new forum mod for the HTC Wallaby.
I've been on xda-developers for over a year now. Mostly visiting the devices I own and supporting other forums with the experince I've gathered on this great site. Maybe some of you have seen me lately in the forums helping a little.
Now, I'm happy and honored to be appointed to the HTC Wallaby forums to provide mod assistance to all of you in the best way I can to this great community.
I'm here to help you and I expect the same from all of you .
If you experience any other way of approach from members, feel free to contact me through PM, or report the post by using the "!" button in the post.
Additionally, I want to let you know that I'll be doing some forum maintenance (cleaning threads addressing an already discussed topic or an off topic, moving threads or posts to proper sections) for making it easier to all of you get the information you are seeking and keeping the forum clean.
Cheers

Hello Ting. Welcome to Xda!
Since you are new here, please get used to operating in the forums and threads by asking questions, offering help, or joining in current conversations.
Each section has "helps" and "reminders" at the top of the section for you to view, and you can always PM any Recognized Contributor or any member of the moderation staff, for help or answers you can't find elsewhere in Xda.
Always remember to follow the rules (check them out in my signature) and try to help as much as you are helped during your time with Xda.
Again, welcome to the Xda family!
Hi I'm new to this site, but i visited the forum a lot while doing my first steps with lineage. So I want to contribute by helping others the same way I could find answers or part of answers in this forum.
Welcome to XDA. Glad to have your experience helping members on the forums!

Me too.)
Thanks a lot for accepting my request . I am so excited to be a part of this amazing forum. Technology is my hobby. It will be a great journey.
Welcome to XDA. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the XDA Forum Rules as well as Forum Etiquette.
Use the Manufacturers link at the top of the page to find the subforum for your device. XDA is one of the largest development sites in the world, so you should have no trouble finding plenty of information here.
Good luck, and have fun!
I recently decided to dive into the world of smartphones and had to find out that it is much more complex and difficult than I anticipated but at the same time that's what makes it so intriguing.
Since I'm new to this topic but not new to the world of computer science I hope to fnd some help here and want to help in return if I can.
I already encountered many helpful guides here which I successfully put into practice which is a great WOOHOO for those who posted them.
Since I already made use of some of xda's collective knowledge, I want to contribute.
With respect
Yu.
Glad you joined XDA! Continue to enjoy the forums and assisting the members!
Cheers
