I have note5 dual sim (SM-N9208), Yesterday my phone was bricked and i flash it with Odin. And after flash success, i got fingerprint sensor not working. I can't register new fingerprint and I test the Sensor in *#0*# , the result is my fingerprint failed to recognized (see my screenshot).

My question Is software bug or my fingerprint scanner is broken?
If my hardware is broken, is possible flashing firmware make hardware/sensor broken?

Hi, I'm on a stock Android 4.3 and a vertical portion of touchscreen is not working very well. sometimes it does but it have a very low sensitive.

I bought A2 three days ago and fingerprint worked fine. Today fingerprint stoped and i look in setings/security&location but there has no fingerprint options or whatsoever (android vers:8.1.0). What to do I'm desperate :crying:

I have been getting this error for awhile after Samsung pushed an update I haven't been able to fix it even tried finding the sensor apk closing it and reinstalling it, Samsung was no help at all and iv never had an issue. Any ideas besides a factory reset also I tried afe mode same issue.

guys, i have problem with unlock bootloader process, my device not detected on miflash unlock, i use the latest version of miflash unlock and before this i flashing this device with edl mode is working and havent any problem, what the solution of this problem? sorry for bad english
After another hard reset, it is not possible to register a fingerprint - an error is constantly generated (Fingerprint operation canceled). I try Odin, but It did not help. Tried to reset through recovery - no change. What are you doing about it?
