I have that lg 405ua with android 10 and I'm stuck here with simlocked network . my questions is :
_Can i crossflash it to android 11 ? And how. if. it is possible
_ can i open sim network to be able to use sim card on it ? And how if it's possible

If I understand correctly;
1) there is no android 11 to 'crossflash' to. The only android 11 avail for the v40 would be lineage (and it's variants).
2) I think yer asking 'can the sim be unlocked'? and the answer is no, it cannot. Crossflashing, on previous lg phones did accomplish that, but no more. The only way a sim can be unlocked now is by the carrier.
One caveat, there **may** be some remote services you would pay that can get the sim unlocked, but I'm unaware of any and don't know anyone who has done it.

Verizon phones are not SIM locked, they will however complain the SIM is from an unknown source, and in many cases it seems that to get it to boot up requires a Verizon SIM for the initial activation, then everything will work.
Since this is obviously not possible for you, your best bet would be to manually upgrade to KitKat with the Verizon Software Upgrade assistant through your PC and then install an aftermarket ROM, which will not require the Verizon initial activation.

The LG G2 is NOT a SIM/carrier locked device, no recent Verizon Global device is, even if it was there is no ROM that can fix that, that information is not touchable by flashing a ROM.
Insert your SIM, setup the APN settings, and make sure it is set to Global or GSM/UMTS, reboot, and you should be good to go, the only thing you will get is an unrecognized SIM error on the lock screen and notification pull down, but it works fine. People are are using the vs980 on a host of GSM carriers around the world.

OK, So I have a Verizon LG G2, which I am using in Pakistan (also I bought it in Pakistan) and I am using it without a Verizon Sim. These sort of phones are common here which are used phones which come from US. They do some unlocking and make this phone accessible to every local sim.
I want to inquire that if I root it and install a custom ROM in it will it still work and use my Pakistan based sim or will it stop working and than it would need a Verizon sim to work
Currently it shows that it is unrooted.

So... I understand pretty good all terms about rooting, flashing and roms.
The thing is that I have a LG L90 with CM 13 and I've noticed today that it only accepts one SIM Carrier, it's network blocked.
I want to insert another SIM from another company, but I do not know how to unlock the network restriction.
Does anybody have any idea of how to do that?
I remember owning a samsung ACE and some guy developed a tool to unlock network just using an APK.
Please, xda, help me. You're my only hope.

Hello the only way i know how to unlock is to ask t mobile. Did you buy the phone directly from t mobile?, if so you can ask them to send you a unlock code which you can input in your phone to unlock. Simple as that.

Hi. I've tried with my carrier (telcel/Mexico). They told me, they could not unlock it. They tried but didn't work. Told me the reason could be because i have a custom ROM (CM 13).
So i'm looking for alternative methods.
Got back to stock and call your cellphone provider again. You can go back to stock using LG Flash Tool and the correct kdz for your phone model.
So I just got my sprint V40, Model Number LM-V405UA
android version : 9
Android Security Patch: March 1st 2020
And the software version is : V405U20d
Are these all up to date on my model?

2) & 3) More bands available to you/better compatibility for when you decide to leave Sprint for another carrier (make sure the phone is SIM unlocked first!), plus the ability to connect to more towers if you travel to other countries. Less Sprint bloatware.
4) Unlock bootloader and root device. Take full control of the tech you own!

I dont actually have sprint, I have Tracfone as my carrier and use the AT&T sim card
which KDZ would be best to use? I looked at LG Firmware and saw US Cellular but there's also the US unlocked one too
The only information i've seen about rooting and unlocking the bootloader is to contact someone that has a octoplus box

If you crossflash use the US unlocked.
Look here for unlocking the bootloader.
Once you've done that, rooting is as simple as using TWRP to load Magisk.

Get the US unlocked KDZ. I also had the Sprint model. Crossflashing to the US unlocked allowed me to use wifi calling and the additional bands for T-mobile.

i want t buy one for 150 but its sprint . but i have metro . can i just cross flash and then go to tobile n connect it or it has to be sim unlocked also
