Guys please make this for the EXYNOS as well!!!
I can confirm it works good and boots a lot faster than other recoveries.. it seems normal now plus everything I tested so far in SHRP seems to work as intended.
I have added a version of TWRP as well to the download links in post #1

is nice booting to recovery in 30sec instead of 2min isnt it lol.. im rockin shrp too.. nice to change it up a bit
will this work on the latest v3 bootloader?
It'll work if your bootloader is unlocked. Doesn't matter what firmware you are on.

You said vbmeta must be disabled prior to installation but there's something that isn't clear enough for me. Does this mean that if my system is already rooted, i can just flash shrp trough odin ? Or it means I must do a clean install before flashing shrp ? Sorry if the question sounds stupid but I'm quite new to Samsung devices.

Installation
From existing TWRP or OrangeFox recovery
1. Download the OrangeFox zip to your device
2. Reboot to TWRP-based Recovery
3. Install the OrangeFox zip
4. Reboot recovery
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Starqltechn is for the Galaxy S9, right? Is it for the Snapdragon or Exynos variant? I'm unable to install it on the S9 Exynos device (starlte). It says that it's for starqltech and "this device (starlte) is not supported".
The SM-G9600 is the starlte, but I cannot install it. I use HavocOS rom (Android 10). Does the recovery chek the kernel by chance and therefore refuses to install, because the stock kernel is not installed?
Edit: Well, I figured the q-variant (starqlte) is the snapdragon device. That explains it

@xSylla I copied an app folder to "System/product/priv-app" and ended up with bootloop. I'm trying to delete the folder from OrangeFox recovery file manager but I get an error "rm: read only file system".
Any advise? your help is much appreciated

For users that have the same issue:
Flash your currently rom again (as update, so no need to wipe data)
Hi when i'm under orangefox, i cannot see all my data folder, i see random names as directory. And into the log i see "required key". What does that mean?
I cannot install the .zip orangefox into orangefox recovery because i cannot find the .zip file into the available folders
Boot recovery from fastboot, yours data is encrypted.
Works well on monet. Thanks @xSylla for bringing orange fox to the device.
Can anyone help me out with installing this? If i install this going by the Orangefox wiki, my data is encrypted so I can't flash the zip. If I boot the img without flashing I can decrypt and flash the zip no problem, but then as it reboots back into the recovery my data is encrypted again. Anyone know what the problem is?
Edit: I should add I'm having the same problem with TWRP and PBRP also as I've just tried those too. I have a fresh install of MIUI 12.5.2, do I need to format data or something to remove encryption?
Edit #2: Yup, required me to format the data and install the ROM again. However MTP doesn't work with Orangefox (at least for me) so after I formatted I had to fastboot boot a twrp image (no flashing needed) as MTP works in that. Moved MIUI ROMonto my phone through that and went back to Orangefox and flashed ROM though there. Orangefox works fine now, no encrypted files anymore.

- Your Knox Warranty Bit will be blown once you flash this or others custom binaries, preventing you to use Knox Features. It can't be resetted in any way, so think twice before flashing this.
How to install?
Requirement: An unlocked bootloader, and TWRP 3.6.0.
- Flash TWRP 3.6.0 if you haven't already, then download the recovery img, then move it to SD Card or Internal Storage.
- Reboot to recovery
- Select Install
- Select Install Image or zip and search for the OrangeFox Recovery img or zip file
- Flash as recovery
- Reboot to recovery
- Done
Is this better than TWRP? Why should there be orangefox when there is TWRP already?
In my opinion, yes. the UI feels much better than twrp and you can also customize your recovery via the customize option, a chance to rollback in case a magisk module bricks your phone via magisk manager (BUILT IN!) in Orangefox, so you dont have to go to file manager /adb/magisk/modules in TWRP.
Mod Edit: Improper DL link removed.

It just doesn't work. I even tried flashing it via twrp 3.7 using the ramdisk method, it doesn't work. The only recovery that can be installed on my phone is only twrp 3.7. But with twrp 3.7, i can't install magisk on superior os (android 13). I managed to flash magisk using superior os recovery by sideloading it.
