plz i want to get a excellent rom and good in terms of battery consumption of applications and I want to get the best rom and tested plz
well you better get flashing!
for your information, it takes us a good couple of months of trying plenty of cooked ROMs so to answer your question. You should take this path mate, It is a difficult one, by learning how each ROM behaves and performs you can make your own judgement which one best suits your needs. Also the lessons and knowledge (and pitfalls) you will earn along the way is worth it. Being a member here in XDA is a great hobby for me, it makes me proud to say that by just sitting in front of my computer i am still able to help others in this journey.
also you might find it helpful to read the forum rules as this query of yours in inappropriate here.
Hmm, let's see. I'd like a Rom with HTC Sense from Android, but instead on Windows Mobile 7. Oh and when you're busy with that, i'd like multitouch and HD gaming and a nuclear battery that lasts 2.500 years.
I'll have what he's having
As you can tell by others above, you aren't going to get an accurate response to your query.
Everyone will have different answers to your query from using different tests and from practible use.
Best advice would be to read the benchmarks schedule here and then test roms yourself

hai guys..........
sorry for my bad english
my xperia x1 mobile battery sometimes over heat so......please help me
that's not t&a, moved to q&a
also there are some threads concerning battery temperature, tried searching already?
last but not least, when you think it's valid to open a new thread (instead of searching/reusing existing ones) you should provide as many information as possible, my battery gets rather warm too once in a while and I know when that is the case...you didn't describe one scenario when it happens for you, that's nothing other members can work with, except speculating or answering in general which probably does not help you
Best, DK
I currently own an Sony Xperia Play and I'm running CM 9.1. Things are pretty stable but the phone is starting to wear out and I'm butting up against the RAM/Memory limits (I have around 100 applications installed and most have to be installed to the SD card).
I was wondering what people thought about the Xperia T? Does the phone suffer from lock-up's, is CyanogenMod 9/CyanogenMod 10 stable enough for a daily driver. What is the camera like, does it boot into the camera quickly. What is the battery life like? For example the Play running stock will last ~18 hours but running CM9 it tends to last 12 hours. Has anyone seen a bluetooth gamepad/keyboard case?
I'm wondering if this is a better choice when compared to the SGS3 or the Nexus 4.

I checked the Q&A forum and saw nothing answering my questions. Can I suggest if you find noob style Q&A questions so offensive that you don't bother reading them. Only last week a bunch of my colleges were complaining about posts like yours which proliferate stack overflow
The XT is an LTE based phone, LTE is only available on T-Mobile/Orange and since VOLTE isn't supported by any UK carrier means there is a noticeable delay between answering a phone. Also there has been some suggestion that 4G will for the short term have a noticeable affect on battery life.
Your second thread spends the entire time talking about the Nexus 4 and getting a stock rom. Neither answers my series of questions. I'm interested to know what the phone is like during daily use use either with stock, CM, AOKP, etc...
I tend to avoid review sites as I find them inaccurate I would prefer to know what people who own the device think of it after using it for a while.

Well, being someone who helps out a lot, i tend to read all Q&A posts, its kinda of my job as a RC. So its annoying when threads are replicated.
My suggestion is to read the two threads I linked, and then read the CM10 thread in the dev section. Finally, as you alluded to, no review site can give you the true feeling of how a phone runs, so I must ask myself, why are you asking for a review?
Take the plunge and run the roms yourself. XDA is not a review forum, it is a dev forum. And if you and your colleagues dont like it I refer you to the rules of the forum.
Hi Steve & Greg, I don't think we have crossed before.
Rather than start to bicker, how about we try and help each other. While your specific questions may not have been asked before there is no harm in asking. The only true way of finding out what a ROM is like is to flash it and test it.
There are multiple threads within the forum answering most of the OP's questions already, just as Greg points out.
In addition to the threads Greg has quoted there is a post your pics thread and a post your battery life thread, both in General. There's also a niggles thread but I forget if it is in General or Q&A.
Combined they answer pretty much all questions asked.
To be honest though, I've personally never got much idea about which phone is best for ME from discussion threads or reviews. They often help you decide but you don't really know what the phone is going to be like without trying it for a while. In my case I couldn't be happier with my XT and would personally avoid Google's new phones due to the bleeding edge technology and the app compatibility and stability issues often associated with them for the months following their release.
Oh, and steve: it might be helpful to all concerned if you title your threads more subjectively - if everyone titled them Xperia T it would make for a pretty painful reading experience.

I'm in the UK and was on O2 (at the end of my contract) when I bought my XT SIM free, and used it for about a week before I got my new Orange SIM.
On both networks the phone has been fine and I haven't noticed any issues with delays.
I'm not on a 4G contract with Orange though so don't know about battery life.
Hey Guys -
I don't have as much of a technical question, but an opinionated one. I switched from iPhone to Android 3-4 months ago and went with an HTC One. It's different, but has it's pros and cons. The biggest (Android) pro for me is "Tasker." I was big into the jailbreak community for iPhone and there's noting that compares to it.
Anyways, I'm looking for a suggestion for which new custom ROM to use. Soon after getting my HTC One (AT&T M7), I rooted it and loaded Android Revolution. It was ok, but then found ViperOne. I like ViperOne a lot due to it's level of customization but still run Nova on top of it for my desktop. The worst part about my phone is that even wit a Mophie battery case, it dies around 5:00 - 6:00 each day. Yes, it could be due to apps, but would like something which is good with the battery. Too much to ask?
So... here's a breakdown:
- Liked ViperOne best by far
- Plenty of customization
- Good battery life
Thanks!

unfortunately, rom comparison threads aren't allowed here, your thread will probably get closed if a mod see it.
You'll have to try some roms by yourself and see what best fit for your needs.
rules listed in the general thread:
What does not go here (by far an uncomplete list, just some examples for topics that are not tolerated)
Everything prohibited by above linked forum rules.
"Whis is the best rom for this device", "Is this rom better than that" (always subjective, prone to fanboy wars)
Device comparison threads "Which is better: iphone or this phone" (see above)
"What was your last phone/will be your next phone" (Off-Topic to this phone, post that in OT-Forum)
"Hello"/"Goodbye"/"Merry Christmas,Easter,Hannukkah, whatever" (Obviously OT, just imagine every user posts that)
"I'll never buy HTC again", "Why HTC/Samsung/whoever sucks" and all other "hate"-threads (Tell that those guys, not us)
"Help!", "How do I...", "Why..." and all other Questions (belong in Q&A)

As alray mentioned above, we don't allow these kind of threads as it has caused us a lot of issues with arguments in the past.
The only real suggestion we can make, considering we don't know you're kind of usage, is to download a few ROMs and test them out for yourself. That way, you'll be able to find an ideal ROM to suit your needs and may even happen to find a ROM which others wouldn't even have suggested

IllOkay folks, first of all I would like to mention that I did a bit of a search and couldn't find a similar thread. So I made one. Actually this morning I charged my device like I usually do. But the unusual thing is that the battery lasted for so long it had me drop my jaw... We are talking about almost 7 hours of SoT with internet browsing, texting,a bit of music and gaming!!! I just had to share this with the community.
I should mention that all this happened thanks to the amazing developers at XDA. I am running 5.1 boost pop coupled with code blue kernel. F2FS + Undervolted CPU. It's buttery smooth with fantastic battery. Thanks devs!
I'll add screen shots soon. I am on mobile
Although it's nice you've had such a great battery-cycle, there are (of course) battery threads here, like
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509132 . I think you should post it there, or leave a 'thanks-message' in the threads of the devs you praise, instead of creating a whole new thread.
