Once my phone gets down to 15% and the battery low warning goes off, it drains to 0% in 1-2 minutes.
I got this phone about 6 months ago so it's not an old battery. I'm on CM 12.1 on my XT1060.
Anyone heard of this issue or have any ideas?

Even I have that.. Some say, the battery needs to be calibrated. To do that, once it reaches 100%, do not unplug the charger. Keep it for more than 3-4 hours. Doesnt hurt. I have seen gradual drop whenever i do that. However, not consistent. But worth the try.
I leave the phone plugged in when I go to sleep, so i am basically doing that. Is there any other way to test if my battery is properly calibrated?
The same thing happens to me on a 3 months old Moto X

I've seen a lot of people have mentioned the last 15% goes very quickly, mine too -but not down to 1% in only 1-2 minutes
Hi, I was wondering if how much battery life overnight standby consume. For me, I find my mi max 2 lose 6% overnight, from 100% to around 94%. I was wondering if that is the same with you guys. I am using xiaomi miui global rom, version 9.0.3. The Google play services seem to be causing the 6% drain, so I would like to know if that is the case with you.
well first youll have to tell us how you set up your phone when leaving it on overnight. i for one switch off all sensors and put it on flight mode (since i dont expect any calls or messages in the middle of the night ) and use greenify on top of that. with that setup, i usually lose about 0-2% inside of 8-10 hours.
Has anyone done a real life battery test on the s10e? I have found for s10+ but not the s10e.
Hello, I have been using my galaxy S10e (Exynos) for 4 days, and I find myself charging the phone at least 3 times a day. my daily usage pattern is like: 10 minutes shooting with the camera and selfies, 1 hour video call on Facebook messenger, 1 hour listening to music through the buds, 1 hour listening to music on the car's bluetooth system, 1 hour on Instagram. (Screen brightness is always below half)
There is also an abnormal battery drain on standby, I sleep when the phone is at 90%, wake up and it's at 75%, battery stats show nothing about that.
With all of that I must say, the phone charges really quickly since it has 3,100 mAh battery.

Kinda strange. Got s10e too and actually charged it only 2 times since the 1th of March. This night it survived with 1% (wifi off). For me the phone is perfect but I'm kinda sad about the noise camera produces when you switch camera modes. It actually triggers me a bit because I don't expect a phone to produce ticking noise when you just witch camera mode.

Maybe because you're switching off your connectivity, My phone data is always on, on 4G.
The ticking noise triggers me as well, I guess we have to get used to it.

Oh, true. My phone currently does not have simcard, because I'm scared to use this precious thing without case =) So currently I only use WIFI + watching youtube/netflix. And it lasts for like 3 days or so. But yeah, I'm 100% sure it will all change when I insert simcard .

Maybe because I always charge it when it gets to 25% until 90%, to preserve the battery health for a longer run, and that 1 hour video call hits the battery hard.
First one is WiFi+ LTE approx 50/50. Second is full LTE with heavy usage, bt audio etc. Yesterday ay the end of the the day with only LTE (no wifi) it showed 6% battery with 4h12m of screen on time.
I think Exynos modem is draining a little bit more energy once again and as usual as in previous Samsung models. Now there is no situations when it drains much more than other system stuff, but I apologise that Qualcomm version of S10 (and especially e model) will be more friendly for LTE usage and as well battery life.
I use S10e since March 1st its normal phone with no gaming scenario do the full day (8am-9pm). At the end - no miracles with the battery life

Interesting, I'd love to see that run 5 or 6 times and see if it's still consistent. I'd also like to see it side by side with the Snapdragon lineup. Because of the language I'm guessing that was an Exynos model.

people in real life don't watch youtube all day
I get max like 5hour+ SOT but overall it wont last more than 14 hours per charge on my daily usage
(Less like 1 hour if I switch on bluetooth n connect to my gear s3)
Battery is amazing for me
Hi guys,
I have a problem with my P30PRO. Battery is not calibrated and the phone shut down at 2%. Have anyone the same problem? Any way to calibrate battery without root?
Thanks
On Huawei phones always shutdown at 2%. This is to preserve battery from complete discharge.
leaving your phone completely discharge ruins your battery. I never let it go less than 35-40%

By using this option though, have you seen the durability of the battery lasts for longer period of time? What is the best practice to keep the good performance of the battery? I used to charge my previous phones below 15% and after a year of use see the performance going down.

7 months with p20 pro and battery was as healthy as the first day(I m not sure if I would have the same performance in a year) . I used this method by reading some battery expert's article and I fount it make sense. Best way to keep battery as healthy as possible, charge until 95% and full charge once per month, never let it go less than 40%. I always fully charge mine though.

I have not asked how to save the battery. I was wondering why the phone shuts down at 2%. Huawei should fix it in some way recalibrating the % of the battery. The phone will shut down at 0% but the battery still have a little bit of power. It's a non sense to turn off the phone at 2%.

@Mindow Already answered you. It does that to prevent the battery from completely draining and ruining the battery. It's normal for Huawei phones. Now that you know it shuts down at 2%, don't let it go down till that. A simple google search can show you that almost almost all huawei phones shut down at 2% and it's not a calibration issue

I've tried a "simple google search" but I've not found any hint. I will find a better phone in the next few week to replace P30PRO and EMUI.
There is video in YouTube with battery drain test that shows p30 pro shutting down at 0%

Didn't meant to sound harsh but that's how it is mate. Anyways, if you're playing a game or watching a video , then it should only shut down at 0%. On regular use, it usually turns it off at 2% so that when you have an emergency and need to make a call, you can turn it on again and do so. I find it unnecessary but i guess they implemented that to prolong the battery life for long term usage. My p20 pro's battery was still amazing up to the day i sold it 2 months ago. Bought it when it launched. Consistently charging from 0% (fully discharged) will ruin the battery.

You're wrong. When it turns off at 2% and I try to turn on the system says "The phone will shut down in 30 seconds". So no emergency call. Anyway a phone should turn off when indicator turns to 0% (even if there is 10% of power to preserve battery due to a battery health saving system).

People who own both S10+ and p30 pro said that the battery is way better on p30 pro. But I guess he doesn t care about battery life, he only care if it shut down at 0%.

Does it matter that much? 2% is life and death?
You asked a question and you've been answered numerous times, if it annoys you that much then just sell it.
2% ensures your phone doesn't die and crash in the middle of a shutdown, which could lead to corrupted data.
Servers connected to a UPS are configured the same way - they shutdown when reaching a critically low level, not when reaching 0%, as the server needs time to safely shutdown its services. The 0% of a new battery might no longer be the same 0% once the phone reaches 2+ years, so better to keep some safety margins there.
Just a tiny fact:
I used mate 10pro for full 2 years. Baterry is still holding as on his first day. If this is a criteria for Huawei phone, I'm more than satisfied.
Scientists have said between 80 and 60 percent is the ideal for battery longevity. 3 Times a year run it out completely so that it wont boot up and then fully charge to 100 percent without using it. This is supposed to calibrate the phone to the battery.. Then ideally keep the phone above 60% and below 80%. This is the first phone I have owned for many years that isnt rooted, calibrating is easy when your rooted its just a case of deleting a file to calibrate but this is not an option on non rooted androids.
Hi there, are u guys having battery drain when reach 20%? Like down 1% per second when 20% or lower. I did hard reset but the problem persist.
yes, drains pretty fast even before I could connect to charger it shuts down.
when battery remains around 5 % ,message gets displayed that phone is going to shut down in 30 seconds, like that.
To get automatic call recording I got Indonesian rom flashed in Indian model. I was thinking battery drain might be because of that.
