Is there anyway we can get the old school CRT off animation on the pixel devices or just android 11 in general?
I kinda miss it.

I liked that too. Initially it was build into Android IIRC but that was probably like 5 years or so ago. Then there were some mods one of which was a Magisk mod I believe. I also saw some apps on the Play Store that would add that but they've not been updated since 2017. So I do believe you're out of luck but the memories are fun.

simple is best...maybe thats where the similarities r with the iphone. android users need 2 at least acknowledge the fact our devices, even with the new nexus arent quite as aesthetically pleasing as the iphone YET (not taking anything away from the advantages of a android device over the iphone).
anyway...
doesnt boot on my phone...and i just switched my APPLE macbook (lol) to snow leopard via fresh install so i dont have adb setup 2 do it myself so hopefully u get this fixed.

Although pure Google is always the way to go, I was wondering if some aspects of the Galaxy Tab's TouchWiz would make its way to the Xoom. I suspect it could but only rooted Xoom's. The advanced multitasking and some of the widgets look decent.
Thoughts?
i say if you want touchwiz then sale xoom and get a GTab 10.1.
But I also believe anything is possible with the devs we have here. Who knows what we will see when source code is released.
custom ui? that sounds to me that when android 3.2 or 4.0 comes out people on the galaxy tab 10.1 will have to wait 6 months until they pimp back the ui to whatever the update will be
i would love to have Mini Apps on my xoom. it's a greet idea from samsung.

I say, I love Android because you can customise it and it has a great developer scene. What is this forum for if not for these kind of challenges. I would love the mini apps on my xoom. Hell, all the time the Android side shouts about how great the multitasking is and that Ios does not have the real deal...but seriously, as a normal user you do not see a big difference (am I defending IOS....good lord...!). Mini Apps would be a great way to rectify that. And Google should have those kind of stuff in stock in the first place. And the updated Samsung Browser is supposed to be blazingly fast.
So yes, if any of the developers here would port parts of it, it would be greatly appreciated.
I would also love to have the Touchwiz UI ported to the Xoom. If not the whole thing than some features at least. If anyone can help with this it I would love it as well.

I just saw the iOS 7 video, and I thought the parallax thing was pretty awesome. you guys think that this could happen with the android? or is there some hardware limitation?
and wow, other than the icon, I think the systems looks really aesthetic for the new iPhone. I'm sticking with my HTC One for another 2 years though

Which do you prefer and why. I have used both and can't figure out which one I like better so I'm reaching out to the community for their opinion lol. If you say substratum what is a good theme for Substratum?

glorified nova prime launcher. I have no desire to implement another UI look than stock or nova.
I like the theme store better. For one I am not rooted and that makes substratum inconvenient to use. Even when I had a rooted Pixel and Pixel 2 most of the themes would never apply correctly. Maybe that's more to do with the theme developer than substratum but either way that's my experience. With Samsung themes I have had little to no problems with themes applying correctly since I started using it on my old Note 5. My only wish is that Samsung would allow for apps to be themed instead of just the system itself.

I owned Xperia S and I really loved the Cosmic Flow wallpaper.
I modded it so that it can work in the latest android version.
It's working fine on my Galaxy note 10+
I haven't tested it in android 11 though.

Note:
- The screen may come black after selecting the wallpaper for the first time. Just select another color from settings or restart the launcher.
- In the case of OneUI launcher, the wave doesn't respond to touches and swipe. That is an OneUI problem. The wave should respond to taps/swipes in other launchers.

Ohh yes, I should've mentioned that. It may show a black screen on the first try. Just, change the color in settings or restart the launcher.

Do you plan on including other colors as well? I remember there was a modded .apk floating around that included more colors like bright red, hot pink etc.
