Hi all,
My device is global version, and my question is about camera night mode.
Whenever I want to take photos in night, the camera makes it auto as night mode for 2 or 3 seconds and sometimes higher, even if I press on close on it, still takes more light than it should and make the photo instead of night to be semi light. This function should be only when I am on night mode or only if I activate a function to auto switch to night (which is not available in the settings). Is there a way to turn off auto night function in normal photo mode and take photos with actual light instead of enhanced?
I am on version 12.0.1 global FW
Hello
In the camera settings, there is an option to turn off. In french it is called "améliorer la qualité de l'image". Don't know in english but the translation would be "improve image quality". It is the 8th option in the setting menu
Look for "Enhance image quality" option in camera settings, turn it off.

Activating advanced features such as manual mode on Redmi 4 is tricky, don't know why xiaomi did specially for this phone.
Well I did try HZQ_miui_camera mod parda for slow motion ,but it only enabled the manual mode and nothing else. All other methods that enabled the slow motion added a greenish tint to the video and it was really worse when there is sufficent light for the shots.
-->Now the trick requires to you to have a CAMERA 2. API enabled on your device. There are lots of way to do enable it try it all of the methods does the job.
-->Reboot the device and install OPEN CAMERA from the Play store.
-->In the app tap on settings -> enable Use camera2 Api-> restart the app
-->Go to Video Mode .
-->tap on the three dots to open a panel and tap the left side of the speed to 0.25x.
-->scroll down White Balance set it to MANUAL.
-->Scene mode to NIGHT
that's it now there's now green tint how hard the light is.
Caution:.
After you enable the camera.2.api your miui camera won't work perfectly even after you disable it.
Use google camera instead for the photos and open camera for the videos.
It is just a trick , Do it at your own risk , I won't be responsible for your any form of loss.

Hi guys,
Yesterday I installed MIUI 12.0.3 Global (QFCEUXM) on my MI 9 Lite after a manual search in settings with OTA.
The update went well, the display was fine but after half an hour it turns into a purple-green colorless screen.:crying:
The phone was not dropped or damaged at all, ever.
The striping and the colors slowly changing over time.
When screen light is on minimum, the display is purple, when high, it is more green.
I tried to turn on/off DC dimming, dark mode, read mode, color scheme, nothing helped.
Screenshots on PC are good, as it should be.
I did factory reset. No solution.
The phone is not modified, no TWRP or something like that.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot.

its most like a hardware failure conincidentally happend during the update , try reflashing it back to MIUI 11 and if does not help , hope your warranty covers it.
Hello everyone, I was curious about this, a few days ago my mobile arrived, when I tested the camera, everything went well. Except that when I take a photo with the 108mpx camera, sometimes you see this type of "pixels" when I zoom in on the photo, they think it is something that can be solved by some software update? I hope you have a happy evening and thanks in advance

Thats sensor noise because have too high iso, maybe you can shoot with pro mode and lower iso (decrease shutter speed) and test again. If noise go away then its a problem that software can solve.. use gcam with night mode for test too.

I just tried pro mode and apparently it gives that error when iso is 50-100, 100+ looks fine. I guess then it is solvable by a system update!. Thanks a lot

I am using BSG MGC 8.1.101_A9_GV1x and set Pixel 3 as the model for 3x Zoom Len. I got small dash marks on the photos taken with HDR on. Would you guys know which image processing settings should be tuned to reduce the marks? Thanks.
Please also let me know the technique terms to describe this kind of dash marks/noises for my research on google. Thanks in advance.
For those who are suffering the same issue like me, please see below my proposed solution:
on BSG gcam, settings->Modules->Back (3.2)->Image Processing->Enable Ram patcher (turn it on)->Enable Global (turn it on), then Main Settings -> Luma Denoise (set it to 1.625), Luma Noise (set it to 3.0)
It is not 100% solution but should reach 99%, but not sure if this affect the picture quality in other aspects. Please do share with me if you find an even better solution.

Hello.
I have such a problem with the tasker. I have created a task that turns on always on display when it receives notifications. I used secure setting: aod_switch 1. The problem is that when the screen is turned off, it doesn't work, only when I turn the screen on and off, it turns on always on display. Do you have any idea what is wrong? Phone Huawei P30 pro with emui 12.
It worked fine in the previous version (emui 11)
on my Samsung A71., aod_switch is meant for me 'Always on display' .
This is for OMLED screen when screen is off, showing the clock on the screen. So that aod_switch not sure if it meet your need as you are looking for keep screen turn on. If you want to make sure , goolge aod + your device model to see search result.
Facing similar problem on my oneplus 9 pro after updating to os13, so i have added a new action category "Display--Turn On=100ms, whenever selected app get notification display turn on=100ms and after screen off AOD On. Hope it helps
