Passing SafetyNet on android 12 beta 1 with magisk and lsposed - Google Pixel 4 XL Questions & Answers

Hi,
I'm running the new android 12 beta 1 on my pixel 4xl. I got magisk hide working for most things and can also use gpay without any workarounds. I have lsposed installed in order to use fingerface.
I now have one app that's still detecting that my phone is rooted but I'm also not passing ctsintegrity, I have the Magisk prop hide module installed but I'm not quite sure what to do next.
Can anyone point! Me in the right direction?
Peter

Did you try installing MagiskHide Props Config
From the magisk modules I was having the same problem on Android 11 and that fixed it so maybe it will work for you too on 12

You will never pass safetynet with lsposed, it modifies too many core components. This is pretty widely known.

Magisk 20.1 - Safetynet checks unsuccessful

Hi everyone,
I just rooted (my 1st root) my pixel 4 yesterday to activate the soli module as in my country it doesn't work otherwise.
Soli is now working, but some app (like Netflix) cannot be used even after installing the APK from some APK database.
After looking online I understood that this was because of the safetynet checks, which are both failed (ctsprofile and basicintegrity)
Unfortunatelly, I haven't found any thread to fix it except some old for older versions or mentioning TWRP which i didn't use.
I have only 3 modules installed: Riru Edxposed / Riru Core and MagiskHide props config (and the check of all google playservice addresses in the module)
Can someone help me on that?
Thanks !
Seems like Google started detecting EdXposed yesterday, but this can be worked around by adding some Google components to the EdXposed blacklist. Take a look on the EdXposed Github for details.

The check is now green for both, thanks
But i can't still use netflix (app will remain on the logo for ever).
I tried to rename the liboem file with a root explorer but the file is not present in the folder in system\lib\ or \lib64

Hi,
Coul you please tell me if you are on custom rom?
I am on custom and only way to pass is to use Props Module in Magisk. But the Props is not loading when Riru EdXposed is active.
Thank you,

I just posted this on Github, kinda curious if it helps with Google Pay. I had never heard of this module before:
Has anyone tried the Hidden Core module in EdXposed? It is passing SafetyNet for me without any blacklisting or switching modes, just install and reboot.
For posterity, I am running EdXposed YAHFA 0.4.5.1. EdXposed Manager 4.5.1 under Magisk v20.1 / Android Pie.

Yep, I recently went from rooted stock to LineageOS 16 on my phone, and can no longer use Netflix. My rooted Android media boxes also run LOS and Netflix *does* work on them, so I am perplexed. I can run the (terrible) remote control app for my Toyota by simply hiding things in Magisk and adding it to the blacklist in EdXposed Manager, otherwise it will complain about the phone being rooted. That works, but Netflix does not.
I don't need Netflix on my daily driver telephone, so no loss, but it tells us that whatever Google is doing, it is beatable. I just don't see the common ground though, it almost seems like it is device dependant. Next time I install Netflix, I am going to face due north, chant the Canadian anthem, and touch my nose with my right index finger while clutching a rosary in my left hand. Maybe that will be the ticket.

edxposed v0.4.6.1 + EdXposed Manager = Safetynet Fail

Saw an update, thought cool finally out of beta, but upon upgrading, safetynet fails.
I didn't take a look too much into it, I did see on github that at least some users also had failing safetynet, but this was right at the same time as the google update to safetynet for magisk, so I couldn't rule that out for other users.
I've reverted back to v0.4.5.1 and edxposed installer and safetynet passes. I *think* it might be because edxposed installer has blacklist functionality. I couldn't find the equivalent setting on edxposed manager.

Latest Xposed Manager try in settings menu scroll down to framework options enable:
App List mode
Pass Safetynet
To enable blacklist function - App List mode has to be enable. Then from main menu select Applications.
thanks, after some testing and restarting that did the trick.
I didn't see that the 'app list mode' is the blacklist and only turned on 'pass safetynet' thinking that was the only think I needed to do
I updated lineage and I can't get safetynet to pass again.
I verified that with edxposed disabled, it passes safetynet. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling edxposed and tried both sandhook and yahfa versions and it doesn't pass.
Scratching my head on how it doesn't working work anymore because from lineage update (my only guess).

In Edxposed Manager try downloading the canary release and flash through Magisk.
Also note that Google is starting to tighten it's grip in regards to Safety Net. Very basically it will fail with an unlocked bootloader.

I'm aware of that, but in my case, phone passed safetynet (with magisk, edxposed, and all modules the same) before updating lineage.
I should note that this is lineage 15.1 (A8.1) if it matters.
And that phones pre-pie are currently immune to that safetynet check because of old security hardware.

On my spare S8 I've reinstall unofficial lineage 17.1 ( Android 10 ).
Using latest:
Stable version of magisk / manager
Edxposed manager - 4.5.7
Edxposed canary - 0.4.6.3 ( 4545 ) - Yahfa
Riru core - 19.8
This combination at the moment is passing safety net. Checked using magisk manager + two other apps from playstore. Also have Device is certified through play store. The latest play store version is 19.5.13 for my region.
Edxposed modules installed at moment
Xprivacylua
Minminguard
Resolver Activity Tweaks
installing HiddenCore Module did the trick, but i'm still curious why updating lineage broke safetynet or that using the older rirucore + edxposed passes safety net
I might have figured this problem, let me know if it helps you pass safetynet too as it did work on my device ( OP6T ):
Install everything just as the above steps,
-config magiskhide, install the fingerprints
-Install riru etc, install the canary version of sandhook
-put in airplane mode as soon as you reboot
-enable applist and blacklist google framework and services and playstore (also assuming you have done hidden these in magisk too)
-clear data from services, framework, playstore
- open playstore and check if youre logged in and its working
- Go check safetynet
Gpay is working for me flawlessly
As of april 25 this solution seems to work for me.

My system UI is crashing sometimes. Is it because of edxposed? I followed these steps and successfully passed the SafetyNet check. But my system is crashing sometimes!
I'm using sudohide module only!

Hey, it could be that, maybe you have a module like gravitybox installed which is conflicting with your system configurations.
If not that, try disabling edxposed modules from magisk itself. If that fixes the solution, then it might be edxposed
One solution is disable module like gravitybox or update gravitybox

SafetyNet API Error after downgradind to 20.4

Hello,
I was on Magisk 20.4 and Magisk Manager 7.5.1 since June 2020 and everything worked fine. But then I installed EdXposed because I really need it and the result is
SafetyNet Check Success with
ctsProfile: false
basicIntegrity: false
Everything was working properly despite everything.
Yesterday April 26, I wanted to use MagiskHide 20.4 to hide the root from the applications that detect it.
It didn't work, so I updated Magisk 22.1 with the following result
SafetyNet API Error
basicIntegrity: false
ctsProfile: false
evalType N/A
Magisk 22.1 refused to grant root to any new installed applications.
MagiskHide 22.1 did not work with all applications and it left me 2 Magisk app.
I downgraded to Magisk 20.4 and Magisk Manager 7.5.1, but now I still have SafetyNet API Error.
Google Play Store and some applications take time to load too.
I'm really lost and sad to see these problems that didn't exist before.
Usually, I never updated ROM or Magisk after their first installation and that everything worked properly on each of my phones.
Thanks a lot in advance and really sorry for the inconvenience.
Cordially
Samsung Galaxy S10 G973FXXS5CTD1 ROM Stock exynos
Magisk 20.4 and Magisk Manager 7.5.1
EdXposed Manager 4.5.7 (45700) with 0.4.6.1 (4510) YAHFA
the api key expired on the old magisk hence the new version
I see, there is no solution to have the new api on an old version of Magisk ?
Because, Magisk 20.4 worked properly, but not Magisk 22.1 on my phone.
Moreover, SafetyNet Check is very important ?
I have the same result. Also I'm using Google Pay that still works... The Magisk code is broken for now... If you use 3rd party SafetyNet Checker from Google Play it probably fully pass safetynet, if you disable/remove edxposed before.
According by @Lord Sithek from my thread.
Thank you Danielisko

Question Banking apps still doesn't work after enabling Magisk Hide.

Just enabling on the "Magisk Hide" option will do the thing? Or are there any other steps I should do?
Magisk Hide is already enabled in the options. I tried rebooting my phone and it is still blocking ALL banking apps that I use (I live in the Philippines.)
My phone is Xiaomi Mi 11.
- I tried installing previous versions of Magisk
- Flashing different custom ROMs: EU ROM, Global and OneOS, still the same issue.

Thanks a lot, this worked! I thought it didn't work at first. I have to manually enable Magisk Hide module per application/banking app.
If it doesn´t work, just uninstall the magisk manager.
In case you need it reinstall it.
Works great for me.

Glad it helps.
And yes, MagiskHide is required if rooted (this is mentioned in the module description)
I use the app airfrozen to freeze magisk. Do my banking things and after that I unfreeze it. It's faster than uninstall and reinstall.
The hide worked for me under lineage and my sagit.
But under mi11 it will not. No idea why.
make sure you set Magisk hide to the SUB-items in each app you want to hide it from. Also make sure you pass Safeynet.
I am running MIUImix weekly and can pass Safetynet, googlepay etc without running any special modules.

I installed this app out of curiosity on two my devices: 1) Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with custom ROM Android 10, rooted with Magisk Delta 25.1 (using Riru, LSPosed and MagiskHide); 2) Xiaomi Mi Note 10 with Xiaomi.eu ROM Android 11, rooted with official Magisk 25.1 (using Zygisk, LSPosed and Shamiko). And what I observed:
1) On the first device with custom ROM I was not able to fool Keytrade Bank app even with using MagiskHide enabled, repackaged Magisk Delta app, (I know it's rather redundant, but just in case , hidden LSPosed manager and using HideMyApplist properly configured. I suppose it may be involved with the old security patches because my ROM isn't being updated for Android 10 anymore.
2) On the second device I couldn't fool Keytrade app until I used HideMyApplist LSPosed module. It suggests that Keytrade is looking for a specific packages installed... Then by a process of elimination I determined it was the HideMyApplist app itself which causes the Keytrade app to crash! But since you dont have LSPosed installed at all, maybe there is another package which Keytrade app is looking for... Anyway, looks like running Keytrade is possible even with official Magisk and Shamiko (maybe even with Enforce DenyList as well)
EDIT: Pardon, it turned out that with only HideMyApplist app hidden Keytrade crashes after a while too. But I have 13 different apps with root access hidden with another template and with that applied to Keytrade I'm able to start a profile creation process
Sir, i tried using this app in zenfone max pro m1 with latest masgik v25 with zygisk enabled. So after giving super user request YES 2 times (it prompts for 2 prompts one after another) i opening settings and enabled "magisk hide" and did reboot device.
But after reboot the root request automatically resets and i've to redo procedure again
BUT after disabling zygisk the root request reset issue didn't happened. So i did add the "instabiz ,My jio" apps to test if it detects root or not , but it still detects root.
SO how do i make it work ?

Tried Magisk Delta and sure enough it did pass the Instapay app. Used magisk hide, randomize package name, riru, momohider, unshare, and safety net. Downside is even though I have safetynet module, still can't pass basic attestation and somehow I broke momo app. For the momo app, I should only have init.rc as the failed test 'cause somehow momo can't see device is custom ROM and unlocked bootloader. Weird.
Edit: Safetynet passed, I just forgot to add gms and gms unstable in denylist.

Will Shamiko work with this custom Magisk? I know Shamiko needs Zygisk enabled. But it also needs "enforce denylist" disabled. However, this app doesn't have that option. So, does this app enforce denylist or does it not enforce it? Since there is no toggle for this setting.

MagiskHide toggle is DenyList toggle
MagiskHide will keep zygisk to be loaded for apps on denylist
Shamiko will work even it say it's not working. It say it is not working because it receives denylist_enabled flag sent by zygisk.
And.. If you use shamiko, why not use official magisk.
I think your banking app will work fine without shamiko if it doesn't detect zygisks. Shamiko cannot completely hide zygisk.
