I hav a problem:
When i use the home-batterycharger sometimes the battery charge and sometimes it doesn't... sometimes it charge for the 5/10 minutes and then is like disconnected...
When i use the car-charger it never charge.
If i Use the duracell package for charging with usb, it never charge.
If I use the pc via usb, it charge, always...
where is the problem?
I tryed to change also a lot of ROM but the problem is still here... Could you help me?
It might sound like you have busted youre phones USB, try test it quick by jugling a whit the car and home charger. Could be that it gets a bether grip whit the pc usb cable. I dont think the problem are ROM related but either the USB on phone or the battery itself.

search a little bit in the kaiser threads, there are minimum 3 threads about this problem. in most cases the USB connector on your phone needs a little "help" with the stick ...
helo everyone and i say sorry if i post in a wrong place but i do not know what to do, i have a sony ericsson xperia x1 and i left it to charge at my Desktop PC via usb cable, in the morning the cellphone was off and it do not want to turn on, what do u think is the problem, i must say the red light is on behind the on/off button but only when i connect it to usb again! can u help me with some advice what went wrong, what can i do, i must say i do not have a guarantee for it.

this link will give you info from other users experiencing the red light issue,i had this problem too but disconnected the battery a few times, then charged it via the wall for a hour,usb doesnt give you enought power i think.
Hi, how are you? I buy a phone on ebay that won´t hold charge and always says 0 battery in android, so i have to connect to the wall charger to turn on and I keep the usb cable in the phone to use it, the phone works, and in the battery status shows that is connected to the charger, now when i put the phone in recovery mode i only use the usb cable to tur on, later remove the usb cable and the the phone hold charge and works! with the batery, but only in recovery mode,
Battery are good, have 3 batteries all tested in other g1 working and holding charge.
any one can help me? please.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I do that, but is always the same, the phone won´t charge the battery even if a put a full charged battery in the phone, so to turn on the phone in normal boot, the phone has to be connected to the usb cable and shutdown when it´s boot.
but when i boot in recovery mode, have to turn on with usb cable, and in boot mode remove the usb cable and battery works for like 20 hours. =/ hope that any can help me. and again sorry for my poor english.
Sound like you have the hardware problem. Is the charger the original charger for the G1?
yes i try and iphone charger and pc usb but always the same.

Hello there, I recently flash Dynamics 2.4.1 with TF3D on my xperia x1, and i use radio 1.0.26. The first day use the new rom was ok, charging ok,
But on the second charge my phone recognize my charger as PC, when i plug in the cable the Connect To Pc Popup and it's look like charging through usb, I use my phone with care, Can someone give me some ideas to fix that, thanks a lot
My battery totally died last night and powered off when it ran out of battery however now I cannot charge the phone at all. It was on charge all night and no charging light comes on. Ive tried with the mains cable, usb cable to pc and in car charger.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get it working again?

Did it just randomly die? Is there anything you did beforehand that could influence it, like dropping it (in water)?
I'm not entirely sure what it could be, but if you could provide this info, others mide have an easier time troubleshooting.

connect the phone to charger and press and hold the power button for 30 sec and see if the led is flashing
if not then connect to pc and try to boot into bootloader menu and tell what happens. weather it boots, does it just vibrates or does the led flash
