Can i load the official english rom on a german tp2?

hi,
i dont own yet a TP2,plan to buy one.I actually would like to have an english version,but with german hardware keyboard,unfortunately,not possible to buy it that way (hardware keyboard always same language as the OS).
One can download now official roms from HTC webpage,in all languages.
Does anybody know,if it is possible,to flash the official english rom,on a german hardware version,so i would have my english one with german keyboard.
Or will it perform some kind of serial check,and not allow the flash then?
I only want to do this "on the normal way",without help of any external prog,or goldcard,or what ever,only the official htc stuff.

I could tell you that this question was already asked 10000 times on this forum and that you should search for the answer before making the same question again, but i guess you do know the forum rules, right?
Now the answer to your question is, no, you are not allowed to install a different language s.o. on your TP2 because HTC does not allow you. The only way is really to use a change HARD SPL and then you are free to do whatever you want, unfortunately it's still under development for the TP2, so you will have to wait.

and yes,i know the rules,and have read the one 1000 other posts about this,but those were most things with Hard SPL or gold card,which i dont want,and until today,there were no official european roms to download from htc's page,
thats why i asked

Yes, you can with a Goldcard (QMAT) and then can you make a registry change to have a german keyboard or whatever you want.
I have buy a German version and installed a WWE and then a French rom and made registry change to have a Swiss French keyboard.

OK, guide for QMAT:
1st - Pay it to get the key;
2nd - Buy a microSD Card;
3rd - Install a registry editor in your PPC and change the following key: HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\"00001001" set to integer 1 (it should be integer 2);
4th - Go to QMAT and do the following:

Then do the Following by steps:
First - Get SD Serial from WINCE Device (wait until appears a new serial. During the process will appear a message in your Rhodium, say allow or yes);
Second - Choose in the selection box the Rhodium equipment (not Rhodium CDMA in your case, CDMA is for US Rhodiums);
Third - Choose one of the 2 options, I prefer direct copy to the card in the WINCE Device instead of image to your PC Harddrive.
After that is simply download the signed rom you need and patch with the card still inside the Rhodium. Don't forget that you must be sincronized with ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center.

I'm sorry but on the french site mobilecustom.fr they explicitely say that they don't want people to poste thei're work and files on other sites !!!!! SO PLEASE DELETE IT ! AND EVEN IF THE SITE IS FRENCH, THEY HAVE A BIG NOTICE SAYING THEY DON'T WANT PEOPLE DO DO THAT....IN ENGLISH !
and just so you know....an (w) qvga version is in the making...

I have this working on my Sprint TP2. It is very nice haven't found any bugs yet. Would like to see more widgits though. I would like to change one thing, It say APPEL which I believe is french for CALLS. I think it was the one thing missed in the wwe version.

I don't think KL"X" series support Chinese, firmware version depends on marketing areas. For supported Chinese firmwares, u should stick into KK1 or Original Stock ROM.
It is just English Menu for me, I use 3rd party ROM without Chinese menu as well. I can use Chinese IME (GO KEYBOARD) for imputing Chinese, the only problem is no Chinese sorting

some mod euro mod rom have your mother language 中文，中文（繁体）and中文（中华人民共和国修改特别行政区）. However these three choice just change some apps language, very few and some app just has changed its app name but the UI still English. And the contactor can only sort by alphabet not Chinese Charactor. And build-in IMEs are all for European countries and no Chinese input. And I dont know the word "support " means what? And UI and build-in apps can be displayed Chines?
I am using ROCKET ROM - v12 and set the language to Chinese Simplified. Installed the Chinese input and the quick dialer(来电通 v2.0.0.6). This quick dialer is good cause you can dial by name's first "pinyi" letter. But not perfer to upgrade to 3.0. Maybe you can find in some forums not the market because the latest version there.

The easiest way is to use the search bar with "moto oem disabled grey out".
