Question Photo transfer - unexpected glitch - Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

Hy there,
For the last two weeks I'm the owner of the Mi Ultra Global version (Deutschland) and I've noticed something weird for the last few days.
Being the best camera in the house, I mostly take the photos for my GF.
She has a Samsung Galaxy 20 FE, and when I want to send her the photos, by WhatsApp or an file transfer that we use called SendAnywhere, they come to her phone glitched. For example, from 30 photos, 10 are unusable.
PS. In my gallery, they are all oke, I can see them without any problems.

Do you know if it's a bug from me or maybe some settings in the camera that can cause this problem?
I've attached an example.
Thank you guys,
Alex

Settings, check the shooting format.
Forget the name but some advanced formats aren't viewable on none compatible devices.
HDR maybe?

HEIF I think you meant. It's turned off.
HDR Is so strong that a mid-range phone like the 20 FE doesn't support it?

Yeah that's it. Try sending it by email or text.
That's all I use.
I won't let WhatsApp, FB, etc run on my phone... I know better.
It supports HDR (rich tone) but it looks like crap

Catch the full story here.
Update: Its 4096p videos not 4000p.
they still look horrible compared to a normal hd movie; they really should have increased the bitrate instead of resolution
They are improving as of late though. I like their leanback feature too. http://www.youtube.com/leanback

Yeah have youtube leanback feature is also awesome : http://www.techit.in/youtube-launched-leanback/
Not sure about having a 25' screen for the 4000p But, googles leanback feature is very cool
Nice ladies galaxys!!
next time you better invite me
It isn't 4000p. The resolution is 4096*2304 at 24fps. Therefore, it is 2304p.
Its like calling 1080p video 1920p.

the logic doesn't apply to this resolution. youtube have come out with the resolution that is not yet properly defined. but it is progressive. if u make a good search, u'll find it's defined in 4096p and not taken the logic of height..
in fact, this resolution is completely different, its not wqhd, wfhd... no it's completely something else..
This resolution is called 4K (meaning you need 4 HDTV, each 1080p to watch this ). The area is 4 times larger as the sides are 2 times larger than full HD.
Personally I think it is BS. First of all you need expensive cameras like RED ONE to record videos. Second you need 4K display which are rare and also expensive. And most importantly the quality because of compression is not great.

[Q] [Need help] Z C6602 Camera problem

hi guys, i've recently recieved a Xperia Z C6602 as present
been using it for a couple week now
great phone, however
just a moment ago, i was tried to take some night photo shots
and found a small problem with the camera
hope if anyone could help me, coz it's kind of annoying
the HDR and all the other function seems to work fine
photo under auto ISO setting is no too bad
however with the manual ISO setting (with or with out HDR engaged...)
i have found that the displayed image on the phone screen before photo taken, from ISO 100 ~ ISO 400
is actually much darker then the actual photo taken!
but the ISO 800 ~ ISO 1600 seems to be with out this issue (and ofcoz auto ISO also do not have this problem)
for example
[ISO 100]

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
[ISO 200]
just wondering if anyone have the same problem?
is this a bug for the camera? or is this normal?
i had a bit of look online but didn't find much in regard to this issue
tried to play with the setting, changing the photo size, still didn't help
i really love taking photos
was using HTC ONE MINI before this
and changed to Z now with much higher res, it's awesome
but this problem with the display before taking photo is actually very annoying
for that, i can not see clearly, and predict the outcome of the photo this way
can anyone please help?
bump....

tried to contact sony, haven't got anything back from them yet....

[Q] Best shot feature

Anyone know how to use this feature? I'm looking in the gallery at some pictures I took with the phone, but I don't see an option. Is there something I need to turn on in the settings?
Also trying to use it, but it never suggests the "best shot"...
It happened once for me. It's more hit or miss I think. But what I think is best shot will occur mainly with a person. So if the person moves while you're taking a photo, it'll have another photo that may be better

I'm fairly certain it's only an active feature. When you go to take a picture, it actually takes multiple pictures and you can choose right then which is the best. I know the HTC One had something similar to this, and there's a video showing how theirs works, so I'm assuming it's the same on the X2.
I'm going with the guess that they haven't rolled out that feature to their camera or gallery app yet.

It is definitely on the phone, I've gotten it once. Their recommended picture had a slightly less blurry hand then on what I snapped
It didn't ask me after I took the photo but when I went to view the image?

Note 5 camera?

Has anyone pulled the .apk and gotten it to work? I just want manual shutter. Picked up the S6a just for battery, almost got the N5 just for manual mode.
I could have sworn the S6 allowed for a "pro" more controlled experience. Is Manual exposure not anywhere; I recently just got my S6 back from repair so I haven't had much hands on use. I'll go ahead and check myself, but I could have sworn that it was advertised.
Also, I think this goes along more in the Help/Q&A section, but I could always be wrong
Exposure you are correct, I'm referring to shutter. You can have up to a 10 second shutter on the N5 which would be badass.
When I was posting on the Q&A, it said that only answers could be posted... I wouldn't mind a discussion also.
Is exposure different from shutter?
Yep... I might want a long shutter with a small aperture vs short shutter with a wide open aperture, the exposure could end up being very similar but very different effects.
Ah! I'm not an avid photographer frankly (I'm sure it will show). I did indeed look around, and yeah you're right no noticeable shutter control. I'll hang around the N5's section. From my memory, someone was able to port N5's functions over to the S6 over here on XDA or over at Reddit. For the apk though, we would need a rooted N5 or OTA file to extract it from likely. If they share similar API's, getting it to work shouldn't be impossible.
I supposed the timer is something entirely different from what you want. I just noticed it and saw the option to set for 10 seconds, but thought I'd ask.
These are a couple examples of what can be done with REALLY long shutter:

Fantastic looking! Looks like there was a system dump for the N5. I could look into extracting what I need from that, but haven't looked into it in detail - yet. Will get to it later when the day settles down.

White balance on selfie camera

The stock app on my S10e does not appear to have a white balance option for the front facing camera, and it doesn't automatically choose it correctly. GCam always creates superior results.
I can't imagine Samsung app devs would let their app be so terrible with selfies. Does anyone else have the same experience? Is there a feedback channel we can tell them?
Like I said on another thread why do you guys feel the need to have and use a front facing camera to take pics of yourself. I'm trying to understand is it a narsasiscic thing going on in this day and age or what?do people fancy themselves that much? not talking about you op or anyome here in particular so no disrespect intended. Just want to understand this need for front facing cameras. I love the s10 plus but the ugly 2 cameras on the front are stopping me from enjoying.and I'm not in love with myself to take selfies and admire my self all day.so the front camera ruins the phone for me a bit

People have always been taking pictures of others, and some have noticed that the cameraman has been missing for centuries.
Now we have a tool in our pockets to take a picture of everyone at once, in an instant. The S10 has a wider lens for even more people.
Every game night, I take a selfie with everyone using the GCam app in portrait mode. When I have a special moment with my wife, its easy to get a photo of us together. It's kind of ridiculous looking back at photos from years ago to know I was a participant, but no where to be seen, not a single photo of me interacting with others.
I took advantage of a sale at Office Depot for canvas prints, and made a collage of a year's worth of selfies:
