In my Nord CE, Gcam is working properly and there are no issues. You can refer to the link below,

@douloute Those are package names. They allow you to install multiple apks side by side and, on some phones, access the extra cameras.
For OnePlus we usually need to use the snapcam package (org.codeaurora.snapcam). In this case, it's the first apk of that list.
There's a way to use wide angle with gcam?
Just wondering if the wide angle camera will work on oos 12 or not so I know if I should update. The oneplus camera is crap imo so it would render this camera useless.
I know it works on OOS11 and Lineage OS 11, I think it works on OOS12 too, but I'm not sure.
Maybe wait for other answers?

I have seen ppl on telegram say it does not work
I recommend testing with the "com.ss.android.ugc.aweme" package name as OnePlus started whitelisting that one some of their phones.
BSG's 8.7 (current version) has it, but I don't know if it's as good as 8.1 on this phone.

I have used lineage os before, but now I have oxygen os 12 for newest security updates. Gcam works here very nice!
Please post both low light and indoor shots as well as bright outdoors shots taken by either the Stock camera and/or GCam

it needs camera 2api, which is not enabled, so we can't have gcam on this device...sad

in order to get Gcam you need to either use the limited Gcam GO (wich is worse than the stock samsung) or unlock the bootloader and edit the build.prop file to enable cameraAPI2
