You sure you aren't using reading mode ?
No problems here. I am on Redmi Note 10 Pro 8GB/128GB from Aliexpress Goldway with Global 12.0.6 RKFRUXM Russian ROM

Some book apps will alter user hidden settings and adjust the display tint. If you uninstall that app with that toggle on, a poorly written app will leave it like that! The only easy way to correct it is through the app that caused it... then uninstall the app.
Conversely it could be a 3rd party app doing it, hopefully uninstalling it will correct the issue.
Try running it in Safe mode to see if it's a 3rd party app (barring the above exception).
Try clearing the system cache.
Try a hard reset.

Hi there, I got 2 Xiaomi Redmi 4X devices, both rooted, running Xiaomi.EU rom.
Now, I've enabled HAL3 API on both devices but I've found a weird difference between the two devices, could it be possible that Xiaomi used different camera sensors?
Device one (with google CAM working perfectly, HDR, ... etc ...)

Device two (with google CAM crashing when opening)
Device two crashlog:
Does anyone who any ideas, suggestions tips?
Thanks in advance!
ofcourse possible.
As i know redmi 4x aka Santoni used Samsung or Sony for sensor of Rear Camera.
So it possible for different capability of each sensor.
As far as I know xiaomi has used Samsung camera for rear and omnivision camera for the front for Redmi 4X santoni.
It may be differ by country or region.
You can find camera sensor by going into engineering mode in about phone.( Actually I forgot how to go to engineering mode since it's been long I haven't used MIUI or Xiaomi.Eu ROM)
Or use hardware information app for camera details.
If in any case camera's are different then there could be restrictions of performance of camera and it capability.
Google camera doesn't work properly when used with MIUI or in xiaomi.eu ROM.
Just want to ask, does this two phone running on same ROM version of xiaomi.eu? Sometimes software might be issue.
Hello, My Mi A2 is on latest Febaury 2019 update. After the Pie i sort of noticed my photo quality has decreased. Before in Oreo when i compared photos from Mi A2 and Redmi note 5 pro. They were similar but now Mi A2 Camera photos sucks. I have attached the images i took recently,

After this recent Update from feb, My phone has started heating a lot specially when playing Pubg mobile and its lags too.
Are you also facing the same issue?
Have you tried to clear data for camera app? Try that. And also fully discharge your phone and then charge it to 100% while the mobile is off. You may find some improvements.
i'm facing this issue too. Specially is play PUBG mobile , it's droped FPS and lagged
This is deliberately, because xiaomi want to sell new models. Also i see after February update, camera quality of night shots also degradate.
Ant+ stop working since december update.

I am now on Havoc Os 2.3, now the camera does not open, it always crashing. I have camera2API enabled aswell
Has anyone figured what's the function of the blacked out rectangle next to the back cameras, and below the LED flash ? Is it a sensor of some kind, or is it just an athestic addition for looks ? there is no mention of it anywhere.
Xiaomi doesn't usually put fake sensors for looks like other really cheap brands, so I'm guessing it serves a specific function.
Here's a picture to show which part I mean:

It seems to be a laser focus module and anti-flicker sensor.

Where did you get that information ? Any sources I can quote ?
In the teardown videos I saw on youtube there seems to be nothing there, which is weird.

oups 5 a.m. here!!
It is a back light sensor. Xiaomi mention about 360 light sensor. You can check this by tapping kernel version and entering into test mode
What is that RED DOT between FLASH and RECTANGLE
Seems to be for decoration purposes.
Top picture is mi 9t pro my other phone.
Bottom picture is blackshark 2 my own phone.
How can I make the dark mode same as black shark 2? Not sure what's the problem but the dark mode on mi 9t pro is ugly even on other apps while the blackshark 2 has the better dark mode. According to Google, mi 9t pro also released later so it should be better. Both system update are always updated to latest version. The words also not as clear. What can I do to fix it?

Experiment with themes
Btw, you didn't mention what is exactly your ROM.
If some custom ROM, ask on the forum/channel for that ROM
If Xiaomi.eu, or even stock with A11, MIUI 12.6, it might have problem with Dark mode for some apps

Mi 9t pro is MIUI global 12.5.2 that's the maxed no more updates. Black shark 2 is JOYUI 11 21.11.05. I didn't change anything all original. I tried changing themes and download other themes also still the same. I guess my final option is to download a custom rom. Since there is so many, which one will work like my black shark 2? If I don't like the custom rom, will I be able to restore the phone to default settings?
