Gmail app bug - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Hello i dont know where else to ask this but i have been facing this bug for a while now and it's really annoying.
Gmail seems to be causing issues on my phone, i can confirm its not my kernel nor is it rom specific, whenever i launch gmail its very laggy and refreshing the inbox causes it to crash sometimes as well as crashing all of my other open apps(i can tell by fkm which makes the notification dissappear and recent open apps) idk what to do this problem is very recent maybe even with latest gmail update.
I noticed that 2 of my apps reset their settings as in turn some of the features off like in screen dimmer it turns itself off using the toggle and in franco kernel manager it turns the battery monitoring service off

Ongoing/Multiple notifications for certain apps

So I have had all three of the Galaxy Note phones, but I am having this weird problems with some apps and their notifications only on my Note 3. For example, whenever I use Pandora I have 2 notifications constantly running in my status bar. One of them tells me the song that is currently playing and the second one is telling me that Pandora is running. If I go into the app manager and disable the ongoing notification, it takes away both and I want to keep the song notification running.
I have this problem for other apps also, like ReLaunch. I went into the app settings and disabled the ongoing notification, but it is still there. So I went into the app manager again like I did with Pandora to take it away. Now whenever I restart my phone the notification comes back until I uncheck and then recheck the box to disable the notification. This also happens with other apps like some sms apps and Buzz Launcher.
Does anyone else have these problems and/or ways to fix them? I am running stock and not rooted at the moment.
Thanks.

Notification delay WhatsApp snapchat outlook

I have a annoying problem with my notifications
Currently I'm running lineage last version I only receive WhatsApp notifications when I startup whatsapp
I have had this problem for a while I have tested a lot of roms but always the same problem I have already look at battery optimisation settings but that doesn't fix the problem
With snapchat I only get notifications when I am on WiFi
I already tried notification fixer from the play store doesn't work either
I have also had this problem with my oneplus one haven't found a fix yet

Not receiving notifications

Hey all, I hope somebody can help me out with this. I've noticed this problem with multiple apps but I will continue my description with Whatsapp as it's the most important to me.
It seems to be random, but some (becoming most) times I don't receive any notifications from whatsapp. When i open the app, i can see the app "updating" and receiving all the messages that were sent to me since the previous launch.
I have gone to the battery management and turned whatsapp to manual mode with all 3 options enabled (auto launch, secondary app launch and background usage)
I've also turned on unlimited data restrictions for the app.
I'm still facing the same issue. Anybody else out there facing the same thing with whatsapp or any other app? Any ideas how to fix this?
Same problem messaged Huawei and got a real crap guide on how to fix it . There "fix" was to hard reset the phone which we all know a new phone should work out of the box what good is a hard reset going to do apart from wipe the phone
It could be a network issue. Sometimes when am on wifi every notification comes on time(tested it with my second phone). When i switch on 4g , notification can have a considerable delay. And not only watsapp. Instagram facebook gmail you name it.

Have you try to put out whatsapp from battery optimization apps...
Settings, Apps, Apps, press 4 dots upper right corner, special access (or something like that), exclude whatsapp or any other app from battery optimization
My notfications are working, but sometimes it doesn't play the notification sound for whatsapp. It seems to be random, does anybody know how to fix this?

Delayed/Absent WhatsApp Notifications in Pie-based Custom Roms

Hello there,
I tried several Android 9 custom roms from the local xda rom forum and faced an issue with WhatsApp notifications in all of them.
When I use the phone and receive a new message, it shows a notification for it properly, I also get notifications in the lockscreen if the phone was used like 5 minutes ago.
But as soon as the phone is unused for like 15 minutes and I wake it up, no WhatsApp notifications are shown (notifications from other apps are), neither in the lockscreen nor after I woke it up. I then need to open the app manually, only then I get all new messages and corresponding notifications at one blow.
So far, WhatsApp is the only app where I noticed this problem, notifications from other apps like Telegram and Gmail work without trouble and as intended.
I always do a clean flash, don't use any customizations and set up WhatsApp freshly. I also excluded WhatsApp from Doze in the battery settings, but this didn't solve the problem.
In MIUI and other Nougat-based roms, I don't face this issue. I didn't test many Oreo-based roms to give a report about them concerning this issue.
I'm not sure if I do something wrong or if there really is an issue.
Do WhatsApp notifications work for you without problems?
Or do some of you also face this issue? If yes, were you able to fix it?

That are aggressive doze settings
Which is ysed for good battery backup.
I am having same issue with WhatsApp.
Gmail and Telegram works fine for me, there is no issue with that. but i have issue with Instagram direct message that it does not shows until i open app but other notifications such as comment, new following are shown properly but i think it is a bug with Instagram since other notifications working fine.

Question TikTok notifications issue

Does anyone of you facing a problem with TikTok notifications? I have a problem only with this app, all the notifications are ok, but with this app I have a problem. In particular, I cannot receive DMs notifications, with all my other phones I have no problems...
Of course, all the notifications are enabled and I already tried to set the app to avoid battery optimization but it doesn't work.
The strange thing is that it seems the messages arrive whenever I open the app, not in background
