Hi everyone,
Is it possible install Stock-ROM without root device? Device is Huawei mate 40 pro.
And now you don't have a stock one installed??
As long as you don't have the posibilitie to install a modified one, it doesn't mean you have the stock one ??
Yes I have the original software installed on my device at the factory. The original program has also been downloaded completely. I want to get the errors fixed by reinstalling the program. But I haven't come up with a way to root my device because it can't open the bootloader!
I don't think you understand what a stock rom is. You already have it. If you want to re-install it, just make a backup on pc/laptop using HiSuite and factory reset the phone. Or you can try entering the recovery menu and check for updates there...if it won't find an update, it will reinstall the current version. Close the phone. Then power it up by holding the Volume + and Power at the same time, wait until you enter recovery. There, select the update menu, connect to a wi-fi and let it install.
REALLY!!!!!!!
"I don't think you understand what a stock rom is" I think you should knock out your head from the wall!
I can't use these commands, because my device says "No commands". Using this device with computer is flashing all the time, and I cannot use HiSuite at all because it does not understand my device at all.
@Airplane11, Mate40 pro can't be rooted for the moment.
So we can use just stock firmware on it.
What are you talking about when are you say "The original program has also been downloaded completely. I want to get the errors fixed by reinstalling the program" ??
What have you done and what errors do you have ??
You can't connect the phone with HiSuite or what ??
Have you tryed another version of HiSuite (if that is the problem) ??

I just tried to upgrade my Optimus 2X via PC software. The package downloaded fine but in the middle of the upgrade process the PC software crashed(!) and now I have a phone which is stuck in the upgrade boot screen saying:
"S/W Upgrade
Please wait while upgrading..."
So, what now? Any way to get this thing working again?
First, remove your battery and put it in your phone. Boot the phone up and see where it goes. If it goes into S/W mode again, that sucks. If it goes to the LG boot screen, put the battery out again and put it in. Press Power + Volume Down buttom to go into the CWM menu. From there you can restore your backup (if you made one) or mount the SD card and put the (rom).zip file in your SD card. Then just flash the zip from the CWM.
The update process by LG is pathetic. Many a times, I had the same problem as you. It would just get stuck. It is because of faulty drivers on their part, unable to maintain a connection with the phone.
You can try to NVflash clockwork mod recovery (CWM) and then recover your data.
i have the same problem.
i've tried everything without luck.
mine stopes att 4 procent and pc is trying to install some new device
lge mobile composite usb device.
there is no way to work around this issue.
i have tried absolutly everything.

this is the message that cousing all of this.
this is located just in upgrade mode

Thanks for the infos. I managed to install a stock rom and baseband with SmartFlash yesterday. Just a few minutes ago I used LG's update tool to update the phone to Gingerbread.
So, problem solved. If anyone has the same problem, follow these instructions to update the baseband:

You can get stock roms from here:

Hi Guys,
i got a huge Problem with my GT - 9305.
I already saved my IMEI etc and now i want to root my phone but I got a problem.
I done everything said in this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32235061&postcount=1 BUT:
Everytime I go in downloade mode and want to start Odin this happens ( see attachments )
My Phone wont reboot while I press start, it still says: Downloading ... and nothing happens.
I have installed latest Kies + Drivers, sometimes Kies find the GT-9305 and sometimes not, then i have to reinstall the Drivers.
I have selected MTP + ADB
Android 4.1.1
XXALI7
Buildnummer: JRO03C.I9305XXALI7
make sure Kies is not running when you do it
Root your phone with One Click
Hey, I've got an unlocked i9305 with Optus in Australia.
I rooted my i9305 weeks ago, just a simple software with one click, nothing to do with Odin.
I don't know why there's hardly such tool in the xda and many english-based forum, try this link:
http://sj.qq.com/root [Probably you don't understand Chinese language, google-translate the webpage]
Things you need to do:
1.A Windows-based PC
2.Download the tool from the link
3.Have kies installed (Or you can install the phone driver alone)
4.Enable usb-debug in development option on your i9305
5.BACK UP!
6.Connect your phone with a cable to your PC
7.Use the tool, ONE Click, root your phone successfully
8.After rooting you'll probably find a superuser app in Chinese, don't worry
9.Go downloading the Superuser app in play-store, it can help you to switch to the new SU app.
10.Done!

Ok got it, thanks!
I dont know, but is the mirror offline now?
Rooted LG D405n, nothing done to the software beyond that (unless you count having zooper/nova launcher configured on it). Gave the phone to a friend for a short while and she decided to update the software using the LG software update on the phone. After she selected install on the latest update which came out not long ago and was supposedly going to update the apps, it restarted and got stuck on boot screen with Boot Ceritification Error [560].
I've tried this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-flash-stock-kdz-offline-lg-l90-t2803479 but I got stuck on step 4. because I cannot make the PC recognize the device (it does not show up at all), so the LG tool can't install USB drivers. If i try to do it manually (it gives me an option to select a device from a list) it doesn't seem to do anything, just gets stuck on the Downloading USB driver window.
I can put the phone in Firmware Upgrade Mode just fine, but it doesn't seem to do anything useful. The PC still won't recognize the device, however I can hear the 'usb pluged in' sound (I'm on Win7).
Did a factory reset, didn't help.

You could try the LG Support Tool. Not sure it will work but it's worth a shot. The problem with the phone not getting detected by the PC is the fact that 1) The OS was upgraded by your friend and 2) The factory reset you performed . Both of those acts would have disabled USB debugging hence no device detected.
I unfortunately have no encouraging information to give you.

It appears that I have fixed it.
Since The tool would not download the USB drivers by itself I went to the LG website and got them manually, installed them and restarted the PC.
After that I launched the LG Mobile Support Tool, but it still didn't see the device.
However, I clicked Options and Upgrade Recovery. It asked me for my IMEI. I put the phone into Firmware Upgrade mode and the program started upgrading the phone.
After it was all done, the phone restarted, and the software update simply said that instalation failed, I have lost root but everything else seems fine. Rooted again with towelroot and I'm back in game.

Well I'm glad you managed to fix it.
Since this issue appears to be solved, please insert '[SOLVED]', without the quotes, at the beginning of your thread title.
Hello,
I have a somewhat aged Idol 4 lying here.
This no longer boots or it hangs in the boot loop.
So I tried to install an update via a stock rom from the network via the recovery menu and ADB sideload and always got the error status 7. (Alcatel_Idol_4_6055K_01001_01002_OTA)
Resetting the system didn't help here either.
Then I tried to install TWRP on the device.
But unfortunately both methods that I tried failed.
Once via Sahara & firehose-test and the second was Suger QCT via the download mode.
But both of them got the error message NPRG Error 5002.
I have installed suitable USB drivers.
So my question, does anyone have a tip for me on how I could get the device revived?
And Sorry for my bad english

Hello, I deleted my system from twr without realizing what I was doing, the result is that I stay on the Alcatel logo. My steps were, the installation of sugar, when it starts not to update the application. Choose the 6055 model, since the 6055P model that is mine does not appear in the drop-down. Before starting sugar, turn off the mobile completely and connect it off to the usb of the pc, check if when connecting it the pc does not detect it, use another cable (there are many cables that only serve to charge and not to read on the pc) Now start sugar, choose the model and click on the Udgrade tab. You will surely get several messages saying that the mobile has been modified and that you lose the guarantee, go ahead accepting the message, in a few minutes you will have it ready. Greetings.

Hello, thanks for the answer and the download.
I've tried the same way. I still downloaded your file and tried as you described.
Unfortunately I got the same error NPRG Error 5002 again.
Unfortunately I have no idea where the problem could be.
I found out that it could be a memory error.
As if a flash process had failed and there is no longer a correct series of partitions.
So I would need a complete original rom and would have to flash it via fastboot.
I could also try it via twrp, but I don't get this flashed.
And I don't have a complete original rom either.
Hello,
So I have now been able to flash the phone with another PC with Sugar QCT after it suddenly started up after the battery was completely empty and I charged it again.
But unfortunately the boot problem persists after turning off the phone again.
Even after replacing the battery with a new one.
Then I tried to flash TWRP via the Alcatel Flasher.
The flash process was successful but there was no TWRP on it after the reboot.
So the problem could still be somewhere else than just the firmware.

Hello, it may be that you are making the same mistake that I made when installing recoveri. When selecting the recovery, note that the twr is the one that weighs about 14 mb and the original one about 24 mb. I think that when you make a copy with the recovery program and then install the twr you select it wrong. In the program, do not make the copy of the recovery, skip that step and go directly to install and select the 14 mb file. You will see that this is the problem. Cheers
Hello all.
I recently Rediscovered my P20 Pro/CLT-l09(c432)f and decided to try and flash a newer rom to it since for some reaoson it wasnt getting an update.
I used FirmFinder and HiSuiteProxy which didn't give me any warning. I set the rom 10.0.0.201 i think and flashed without errors, but then on boot it started showing the message attached bellow. The problem is that it wont boot and i've tried using erecovery and everything. It can connect in fastboot mode but it wont accept any flashing. I believe the reason for that is that usb debugging isn't enabled and there is no way to do so as far as i've found.
I've tried the vol up+ power button menu where it gives the option to restore trough usb and otg but it always fails. I dont know if its becuse the rom i've downloaded isn't correctly placed inside the flash, but from i vid i found where i followed it should be.
Any help would be appriciated.
