And I ain't a rookie on these stuffs. I had a redmi note 5 2 years ago. I used to flash custom roms often. But now with this note 9, I'm facing too many errors.

Errors gonna be part of this, because the roms is to early, I saw u try to use dropbox to flash it? do try use de file in C: root? My question is, because the file path have many especials caracters, how space, etc. try to create a folder in c:/ e try to flash

Pretty sure it's not that. Sure he could shorten the path but the only error he's getting is "too many links". This could be cable, USB2/3 or adb version too

[Q] wanna make sure I do everything right

Okay, so I just typed for 20 minutes on this reply and then accidentally closed the tab before posting. ;_; So let's try this again. It's probably going to be a bit shorter this time around, 'cause I don't wanna spend another 20 minutes, but mkay
I'm pretty new to all this, and while I think I have a decent idea of what to do, I want to make sure I'm going to be doing everything right the first time around
I was planning on doing the following:
1) install the 3 button combo fix
2) install clockworkmod recovery
3) install speedmod
4) install a custom rom
Now I have some questions regarding all this Probably very newbish questions, but alas, here goes:
1) clockworkmod=clockworkmod recovery right? same thing?
2) if I installed clockworkmod, could I still use Odin if wanted to?
3) radio, rom & kernel are 3 different things, ive been told by a friend with a HTC Hero. but I only see custom versions of ROM and Kernel for the SGS. Does that mean it's different for SGS users? how I should see this?
4) with clockworkmod I could put a backup stock rom into place to flash to in case I ever have to send my phone back, right?
5) custom roms dont include custom kernels right? since when I read custom rom threads they sometimes list kernels, as if they're included or something. confuses me. they're 2 entirely different things to install, right?
I think that's about it. Am I missing anything? I mean, is there anything I could/should do as well?
Hope you guys can help me

[WIP] [BUILD 1] [9.1.13] Firefox OS (B2G) - NOT ANDROID, SOMETHING DIFFERENT

}
General Info:
More information about Firefox OS (B2G) is available here and here. So... I saw this and couldn't resist having a little sneaky play around with it. This is NOT a daily driver. This is NOT stable. It's pre-alpha. If you want something to use as a phone, this isn't it. If you just want to use your phone as a phone, you need android rom.
With that aside, and with the clear understanding that while this won't brick your phone, it's nothing to do with me if it did for some reason, or likewise if your cat (or other cute pet) suffers a painful death as a result of flashing this. At your own risk, like everything else here on XDA-Developers!
So without further ado, WTF is this? Well, it's a project from Mozilla (the lovely people behind the Firefox browser). I won't go into details, suffice to say I suggest you read a lot over at their wiki - start off at https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G and work your way through the pages.
These builds can only be installed with CWM!!!

just a small question: how many threads are you aiming for?
you already have two out of three closed by the mods... what do you expect here.
If you want help (and you are receiving it!!!), stop multi-threading and cross-posting. You're not going to get anywhere if less than 20% of information needed is posted in 4 different threads!
I can understand if you are frustrated etc. but you are not helping yourself by opening multiple threads! stick with one thread and post the information asked for by those who are helping you.

where's your original (active) thread, i'll take a look later...
But unable to mount cache is normal after a fastboot erase cache, and unable to mount otg is also normal if you don't have one connected.
and the failed to flash zip, is probably because it's a bad download or not a rom at all.
link me the other thread, and let this one die out.

Bricked my OP3T and unable to unbrick now.

Hi All,
I had bricked my phone while updating from OTA. It is not now booting up at all, not in Recovery/Fastboot too. I tried unbrick method from the below guide.
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-for-a-hard-bricked-oneplus-3t.725029/
But I am running into issues while downloading cache.img as it failing again and again. I am facing issues as
FirehoseCheckRSP Failed, Errno: 258, I have attached the screenshot.

I tried multiple port in my both laptops i.e. Windows 10 - 64bits and Windows 7 - 32bits. But all in vain.
Please help. I am in no position to buy a new phone right now :crying::crying::crying:. Thanks!
You are kidding right?
You are posting at XDA and instead of searching here for the guides, you are checking at other forums?

Thanks for you response. I pasted a wrong link in my earlier post. I used the step from XDA too, including the one you shared. But ran into same issue. I have tried almost all the unbrick guides available but it is not going beyond "Downloading cache.img".
I used two version of stock ROMs i.e. "OnePlus3T_28_A.23_161027" and "OnePlus3T_28_A.041_170208" but both didn't work.
Is there anything which I should be doing differently. Thanks!

You can send an email to [email protected], if I see it, I will send you magisk_patched_12.0.12.img as soon as possible. Because I really don’t know what kind of network disk people usually use to share on XDA, maybe you can tell, I will try
