More of the fact that the mi 11 ultra is a mess right now. If its good, more people will purchase. More purchases usually means greater dev interest.

Keep in mind though, before the success of the firesale, and demand for continued support, they were going to completely shut down the division. So them laying off 500 people, isn't as bad as the original intentions.
But there were only 502 people in the division.
