well the 720p video works fine but without sound....i tried so many videos and trailers only 1 r 2 works rest works without sound i have to convert every time to make it work is a pain do anyone facing this problem?
is the sound decode is not well optimized for galaxy ?

Could be DTS audio. SGS cannot handle that.
MKVinfo tells you what sort of audio stream you have.

Thats one weakness , if you don't want to recode entire video you can extract ,video , audio, subtitles , and then recode audio to -> 2 channel , and mux all the peaces again.
It doesn't have to be 2 channel though.
It does handle 5.1 AC3, just no DTS.

The build-in camera app doesn't have disable microphone option. How do i disable sound recording? I want to record video without any sounds and without any background voices.
My galaxy s3 mini is rooted and i want to disable microphone...

Mute the phone when playing the video
Or edit the video in a computer, strip it from sound.

mute the phone when playing the video doesn't help. the audio is still in the video file.
i don't want to edit the video in a computer every time i make a new video. i want to upload direct to youtube

Reencode it with Vidtrim and you can left audio out. Might want the payed version to disable watermarks..
Hi everyone.
As the title suggests, I'm looking for an audio recorder that supports stereo recording on Nokia 7 Plus.
I have tried multiple recording apps on the Play Store and even F-Droid but none of them worked fine. All of them record distorted sound in stereo mode.
Though mono recording works somewhat fine but still not usable in my case.
I think as of now there is no app that supports spatial audio recording on Nokia OZO enabled devices.
Can someone shed some light on this issue?
Have you tried Hi-Q audio recorder? It does good stereo recording. Check it out.

It gives you various audio source options to record in stereo mode. They just need to simplify its UI and settings. Other than that it's a perfect recording app. Kudos to the developer for his efforts.
I just noticed that here is no sound recording app on my phone. Shouldn't there be one to use OZO Audio feature?

Is there any way in 2021 to improve the audio video bitrate for the video recording ? Maybe modify the Media_profiles.XML right ? I see old thread who talk about that but i'm not sure about the results
Any ideas ? Because this phone it's perfect but the audio bitrate quality is very low ...
