Realme X2 PRO wont boot into bootloader - Realme X2 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi,
so i just saw a thread on how to root your Realme x2 Pro and i followed those steps one by one.
But for me, my Realme wont boot into bootloader.
It is recognized in ADB and when I try to execute the command "adb reboot bootloader" my Realme just restarts and shows me a little picure saying "fastboot" for a second.
After that it just turns on like a normal reboot (Its the same when trying with the "In Depth Test" APP).
It would be nice if anyone could give me a litte hint on how to fix that issue.
Current Version: RMX1931EX_11_C.37

Are you using usb 2.0 when sending that command? Tdy changung cables or try using fastboot devices after rebooting it to get it to stick

Realme messed up bootloader, lot of people are facing this issue so you'll need to wait until they fix it, or you can try to unlock it on ColorOS.

Unable to change rom

hey guys, i got my mi 5 yesterday, and i am having a hard time switching from global 7.2.3.0 to any other rom.
current device : Indian mi 5, on 7.2.3.0 global stable rom + LOCKED BOOTLOADER
when i try to flash china stable or global dev rom using recovery method, it says couldn't verify package.
when i try to flash china rom using mi pc suite it says "ROM package's signature cannot verify"
i am really fed up of this current global stable rom and would like to switch asap, and hence i have also applied for unlocking my bootloader, but its gonna take some time.
please help me out.
thanks in advance
Try this ROM from Updater

I got that error once yesterday, then I moved the file to downloaded_rom folder and it flashed just fine. So maybe moving it once will work.

This is 6.5.20, Global Beta ROM. I don't know about difference per se but I flashed it yesterday from Global Stable and it worked. The flashing took a long time but it worked.

any other tricks to flash the rom? do i need to perform a factory reset ?
No, I did it just like that, no factory reset, no unlocked bootloader, no nothing. Just directly from Global Stable to this.

What I received on purchase almost a month ago was 7.2.2.0 which was suspended but then 1 Global Stable update came and I got to 7.2.8.0 but that got suspended too. Yesterday this Beta ROM showed up on the Chinese side of MIUI forum and I grabbed it quickly.

It took REALLY LONG, maybe 30-40 minutes to an hour. But after that it's been the best ROM so far.

I think yes, but I'm not sure
Was wondering the same thing, does anyone know if the red magic 3 is A only or an A/B device. I'm pretty sure it's A only, but I couldn't find any documentation online.
Its A only i think.
Hum... So Project Treble should work ?
That is interesting !
If I could install Resurrection Remix to this device and provided everything works it would become really almost perfect.
If anyone wants to try... If not I'll do it myself when I have time (in 2 or 3 days)...
Regards.
If the device has treble support, meaning a vendor partition it should work no problem, a/b partitioning is really not required for treble.
I tested treble using fastboot, since twrp had some issues, but it resulted in a bootloop and a corrupted recovery partition. I managed to fix it by following: https://forum.xda-developers.com/red-magic-3/help/stuck-fastboot-mode-t3937527/page9
Twrp gave me a mounting error for
/system_root, which is fixable by setting system to be read-only and then rebooting the recovery and re enableing read/write. Have not had the time to test using twrp and treble yet.
*I posted earlier in the day but managed to fix all the issues I had, so this a better summary :silly:

Well not necessarily, since I flashed the lineageos gsi through fastboot. (That may be the issue) I was having issues with twrp. I will try again today, although the chances are slim.

Word of advice. Do not attempt to flash anything on this cell. You will regret it. I tried to flash TWRP over 6 weeks ago an it's been dead ever since. Even a cellphone repair center guy could not repair it.
You need to leave good enough alone.
People all around the world have been stuck in permanent recovery screens or fastboot screens like me.
It really is a very good cell the way it is ?

I have. 7 weeks an counting an no working cell yet. I bought an Mi9 an no issues with it. Easy to reinstall firmware. The red magic 3 is the most difficult to repair cell I have ever encountered. I wish they had something like miflashpro for it
Treble is working from chinese ROM with twrp make sure image is A/B because this device is A/B

[Fixed] RM3S. Device is corrupt. It can't be trusted.

I tried rooting my RM3S with the Boot Image Patching Method. So everything went fine:
I patched boot.img with Magisk, unlocked the Bootloader and flashed it. The phone booted with working Magisk.
But after I tried relocking the Bootloader it won't boot and it says:
Your Device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and won't boot.
I can still get to the Bootloader and enter Fastboot commands. At this point I did nothing to not break anything.

Question cant get back yo stock from pixel experience ?

can someone help pleasae , i have pixel experience on my redmi note 10 pro and trying to go back to stock but its failing . when tring miflash the progress bar speeds to green in like 1 second and nothing is flashed and mi pc suite cant detect phone
whats best way to get back to stock please
Simple, do the same as for every other custom rom. Put your Stock rom on your sdcard and go into recovery(process as usual a full wipe), then install stock rom. You have to install TWRP/Pixel-Recovery again ofc.
Sorted it now . Thanks anyway . I had to delete a few lines of a batch file that was preventing rollback and did it in miflash

Xiaomi has implemented anti rollback to prevent switching to old builds. Recovery ROMs don't have this safety check but fastboot ROMs do have. Bypassing this might brick the device like many Note 5 pro owners bricked their devices by flashing older recovery rom which bypassed the safety check. If they'd have flashed fastboot rom their devices could have been saved.

Different question: Did you like the custom pixel rom? Is it worth to change it or should stick to stock rom? What issues you found there?
It's a good ROM the pixel ROM . Nothing up with it at all . I just felt I'd keep it stock . I didn't encounter any problems with it. Each to there own as they say . You may love it . Plenty of tutorials on YouTube reviewing it on note 10 pro
