Hey,
I'm pretty happy with my Mi 11 Ultra.
I just noticed lately the second screen acts a bit weird.
Usually in the settings the 'use rear display' and 'double tap to wake' option turn off by itself. I turn it on again regularly but it seems to turn off by itself a lot.
And the music visual almost never shows when I play music..
When i take pictures and turn the rear display' on it works fine.
Anyone else having this issue?

MIUI Global 12.5.6 bought in the Netherlands
I'm on 12.6 EU from a Chinese model and don't see any issues. My rear display always works as such. Notifications can be varied but it works as it should as always on display though. Anyone with Global have same problems?
I'm on 12.5.2 Global and have the same problem
On my global ROM I don't have that super power saver option

Oh ok.. thx for confirming..
Guess they'll fix it with an update
For me I have noticed, the 'Fix Battery Usage Issues' or the Battery Saver settings does this for me all the time every day. Battery Saver itself turns off but doesn't restart the Rear Display or AOD
That may just be the reason. I can't confirm, but I might have turned the battery saver on/off or used the fix battery issues 'feature' and that may have led to rear display turning off.
I never turn the battery saver on so can't be that

Every now and then when I wake my phone I see a black lockscreen. The only thing on the screen is the clock. My wallpaper and notifications are not shown. Sometimes tapping the screen will fix it. Other times I have to press the power button to put the phone back to sleep then wake it again.
I can't track down exact steps to repro, it seems to be random.
Has anyone else seen this? Any idea what causes it?
S6 edge, stock, non-rooted
This is what I see

How do you turn it off?
What's the purpose of it?
Settings, motion gestures , smart alert
Its just a way to show you your missed alerts and conserve battery
Interesting. In the screen shot above I had alerts (notice the green edge notification). If I swiped it right the contact image appears but no message. I also had some unread emails.
Anyway, it's not something I would use so I'll turn it off. Thanks for your help!
thats not from smart alerts. i have mine off and it does the same thing
Lock screen always on and black fix
To fix this problem pull down your extended quick tab list and un check the display always on option. This should fix you right up.
Hello
I have this device since yestarday, And what I have noticed that battery drain is huge even when I don't use BT for smartwach, NFC, cellular internet or any other things. With very low usage battery runs out very fast.
Does anyone else have such problem with this device? is it something common?
Well i noticed that, after work around 3 p.m. i had 60% battery and now i have like 30%, very weird
I turned off double-tap-to-wake feature and I'll see if it change anything.
It's not that. It depends on the version you are running. If it's android core apps fault, then you must replace the messaging and dialing apps with some apps from play store. You can see which process is draining that much battery from checking the battery consumption in settings menu.
I have partially solved the problem by disabling double-tap feature and also the one that prevents phone from random actions in the pocket.
I have only few apps intalled and eveything that I don't use is disabled. I'm not going to root my device yet, but I will debloat it someday.
What apps may be disabled? Thanks

After this recent Update from feb, My phone has started heating a lot specially when playing Pubg mobile and its lags too.
Are you also facing the same issue?
Have you tried to clear data for camera app? Try that. And also fully discharge your phone and then charge it to 100% while the mobile is off. You may find some improvements.
i'm facing this issue too. Specially is play PUBG mobile , it's droped FPS and lagged
This is deliberately, because xiaomi want to sell new models. Also i see after February update, camera quality of night shots also degradate.
Ant+ stop working since december update.

Hi. Thank you so much. I've feen facing the issue from poco F1 days. Same in mi11lite NE and now in MI11T pro. Only if I knew, it was this simple to fix. Lots of love ❤
Hi,
since the update (via OTA) of my 11 Ultra to MIUI 14 (official rom), I constantly get the following notification:
"NFC tag detected
Looks like you haven't interacted with detected NFC tags for a long time. Your device won't read or write tags for n..."
the text ends there and tapping on the notification does not do anything. Pressing on it only gives me the snoozing button and the settings button, which redirects me to the NFC Service on the phone where the "show notifications" is on and cannot be turned off.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I have tried disabling this via ADB following this guy's suggestion but no luck.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/uzk22m
any help?
thanks
gotta be the online one i guess...
Getting this too, typical MIUI software design stupidity.

I just can't believe no one else has complained about it. I'm literally thinking of changing my phone because of it. I get this notification every 5 minutes and it hits won't go away!!
