Hello, I not new here really. I've using this site for several years, but today I figured why not just be a member. There's a lot of good developers here. You guys have saved so many of my phones and tablets over the years. Thank you

Google search, "XDA *whatever*" is still the best way to search this site.
Many found their way here by searching for solutions on Gookill.
I've lurked here off and on for over a decade.

Just wanted to say HI to everyone. After lurking around here for a long time, finally decided to Register. I won't bother people if i can help myself, so that will always be my first option. I look forward to learning and sharing my opinions on things. Name is John, from California, hearing impaired. I ordered a Nexus 7, I couldn't pass up the specs at that price. I get it today. Hello again, I suppose I'll be seeing you all around
-PS-So...how about them captchas?

While I was just reading, I came across your introduction.... been here for a month and heard from anyone?
Still, I hope you feel very welcome and already read and learned a lot.
Give yourself time to learn how XDA works. Some topics are very difficult but also very simple things are covered. First of all, look for the smartphone you have in "search" and what can be found about it.
Enjoy this beautiful website to the fullest!
Sincerely.
Just a newbie/lurker trying to learn more about rooting. About time I joined in.
Welcome to XDA Developers! I'm new too, and just recently found this website. I hope you find whatever information you're looking for!
Thanks! Same goes to you too!

Hello both and welcome aboard!
hi everyone,
as you can see i am new to the forum. i have a thing for anything digital but dont get enough time to dedicate to it. especially since i graduated. but i think of myself as someone, who still has a good sense of digital processes and can help myself with search engines. expanding the possibilities of using my smartphone is what eventually brought me to your forum. i hope i can find some answers to my questions along the way.
thanks for great resources you have built up during the years.
cheers.
Welcome to the xda family.
Cheers.
