Why am I getting this? I understand if I have more than 1 app that can open certain things, but why am I getting prompted with 2 Facebook?

I have this weird problem that only started occurring today.. If I open up the Market and update an app it will attempt to download & update the app over and over in a continuous loop. The only way I can make it stop is if I kill the Market app.
Figuring that something may have become corrupted I just did a complete reinstall and I'm still seeing the same behavior! I just updated an app and it download & installed 6 times repeatedly before I killed the Market app! So annoying!
Anyone seen anything similar? I'm at a loss at how to fix this, I've already reinstalled everything.
OK I'm beginning to think it may be a server problem, but it would be great if anybody could provide some input.
I posted a logcat on pastebin, it captures me waking my phone up, opening the Market and updating the app RepliGo Reader.
http://pastebin.com/UswHrLKK
I have highlighted a couple lines which I think are of interest, from what I can tell the app installs fine, then CheckinService sends a checkin request and receives the following error:
Got ApiException from async request: Error from backend. Request=com.android.vending.model.GetAssetRequest, Response=INTERNAL_SERVICE_ERROR
It's at this point that D/vending states there is a download pending and attempts to download/install again.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Do a search, there are atleast 4 threads on this. One here.
I have an ATT note3. Default firmware and all stock. The past few days i get this popup.
PREVENTION INFORMATION
An application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device.
When i press ok it shows ALL my applications and does not tell me which one. I have LOOKOUT installed by default but i have security off. What is this?

Hello everyone,
About the message: "an application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access system in your device", I may have found the solution. While playing with the S Health application on my Note 3, Samsung asked to update the application. I updated the S Health application as asked by Samsung, and voila, the message does no longer show. It has now been about 5 hours with or without WiFi, and with several restarts, and still no message with the shield. Keep my fingers crossed.
Hope this helps. Please pass the info along.

Note: The updated S Health Samsung app is version: SH-V25H ver 2.5.3.49
Another update:
The message seems to appear everytime that you connect to WiFi...
To kill the message on Note 3:
When the message appears, long press on it. It will show you the app info: the Knox notification manager. Then "clear cache" and "clear data", and the message will no longer show, until the next reboot...
still doesnt work

if you just got the phone it probably already has the ota firmware on it so pwnmymoto won't work. as far as the app not installed, you need to go into settings and check allow 3rd party apps, you also will find some setting somewhere to tell the phone not to check the apps for security concerns or something. There might even be two places for this, one in google settings somewhere and one somewhere else. just look around and you will find everything.
I'm experiencing a wierd issue/non issue.
every now and the when I exit an app I get a pop up notification saying that "contacts force closed"
Or "contacts failed" one of those 2. I usually look past it, it doesn't seem to be effecting anything just kind of annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this?
phone is a month old stock non rooted, android 4.4.4.
:I meant to post this in the Q&A. Apologies:
Try clearing data for contacts app in aplication manager.

I don't know why I didn't think of that...
going to see if that has effect. Thank you for suggestion.
Simple question here. When I open up an app, say instagram, from the app drawer or whatever, I want it to make active the instance that's already open (if there is one open) and if there isn't one, then launch a new instance. I only want one instance of any app open at any given time. How do I get this behavior?
Ok.. I'll bite here as most people are probably wondering the same thing...
WTF are you talking about??????

Ok, so the issue seems to be with the Facebook app only. Whenever I go into running apps, there are always several copies of it running. (See screenshot). I only want one copy of that running at any given time... how do I ensure this?
No idea.. Never seen that happen on any of my phones. Have you tried restarting the phone? Maybe do a system cache clean? uninstall then re-install the app? That's about all I can suggest. Is it the Facebook app itself? or is it the facebook messenger and each one is a different conversation with a different person? I'm trying to replicate it on mine but I just can't get mine to do that.

I have the same issue. It happens when you open Facebook from a notification. If you open from icon it uses existing process.
