Hello,
While I can use mcpro24fps, it would be nice to be able to adjust bitrate from the stock app as well.

Hey, I recently installed Froyobread v22 on my x8 and now I want to change my camera shutter sound.
Anyone knows how can I do it?
The sound is located in system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg
Replace that with the sound you want but keep the same name. I don't know if it works with other audio formats. Maybe you should convert it to ogg first.
ok first this it not my work.
thanks to RubberBigPepper for his great work. for download link, go to original thread:

but the thing i want to share here, it is very simple, but its VERY GREAT.
this camera help us to recording video at resolution 640.480 most camera app, from stock camera to apps from store, or porting..only can record at max res 320.240
but with this camera app, we can really record at 640.480
for this, just install camera normally.then go to camcoder, setting:
scene mode: action
video resolution: 640.480 (higher is not supported)
video encoder: mpeg4
video file format: mpeg4
video bitrate:5Mbit
other is default.then exit apps. open it again (u need to do it because it still in beta and have bug)
now u can record, then open in your computer.u can see, resolution it 640.480, video it much more better and detail
the only problem is framerate only 10, while with stock we have 15.but i think because this does not have right config for mini (same as miui camera.it only can record at res 320.240 with framerate 10 )
notice, this app still in dev so it may have bugs.but the important thing i want to share you and hope devs hack it, its that our mini can record video at higher resolution, and if anyone can make the framerate more than 15, this would be very great
devs, please looking for this!
Very Good
Has many options for camera and camcorder!

I don't understand about resolution, or fps etc
can someone give an explanation?

how can? or you using cm rom?
im using emanoN now...it can not record more than 10fps.
Hey guys! Did you try this app with a Gingerbread stock ROM?
No replies??
Hi,
I'm having a problem with video recorder in CM7.2 on my Galaxy Mini. On stock rom it was recording with quite good fps, but on cm7.2 it records in 9fps only. Is there any update for it or a way to replace the cm7.2 camera app to other camera app, that records in decent frame rate?
BTW. It's my first post on this forum, so hi everyone
you can try lg camera
Ok, but could you please tell me, how to do that, and where can I get lg camera?
its an app just search for it
I've managed to download this app, but even if I switch recording to 30fps (higher value is not supported and app says, that cannot record video) it doesn't fix my problem... Maybe there is another way?
Have you tried looking into your camera settings?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using Tapatalk 2
In default CM7.2 camcorder there are no options to tweak video recording, settings are only for photo and there are no options for camcorder...
EDIT: Video quality is set to high
EDIT2: I've also tried MIUI camera for CM7 and it also records in low fps
hi guys,
any idea how it s possible to chaneg the default video recording format for set it all the time to 60 fps mode?
thxx for helping
nobody has a clue?
I was under the impression that once you selected it, it stayed as default until something else was selected?

nop, it s not the case :/
There's no 60fps recording for 1080p, unless you mean you want the default recording mode to be [email protected] then there's no way to set that yet.

Hello good people of XDA
I was using Viper 5.8.0 before (sense 5.5) and it had a modded camera which let me define bitrate for videofiles. I usually set it to 4-8mbps because I only shoot family vids that are to be shared with other members abroad.
But with move to Sense 6, there is no customized camera. I was wondering if it is possible to do? Are the values hardcoded or can be changed from within a file somewhere?
If not, then any app you know of that can reduce 1080 videos to a manageable size? (its ok even if it downsizes to 720p).
