I've been a happy owner of a uncommon version of the Note 4, called China Mobile Note 4 (N9108V). It is a very similar model to the more popular N9100 (the one with two sims), but with 16GB of storage and a smaller 3000mah battery.
I bought it online in amazon, the original owner made me believe that the model i was buying was the N910C, and because i live very very far away (Ecuador), the trouble of returning the smartphone would have been terrible. So i kept it, and it was big headache.
Originally, it didn't have Google Apps installed. Also all the documentation i found was in chinesse, but with the help of my good friend Google Translate, it was possible to do a lot with this unicorn.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G - chinese - camera not work after burning global rom

Hello and have a nice weekend everyone,
I just buy a new phone - Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (chinese version) - 8GB 256GB
The device came with Chinese rom and i open the bootloather from xiaomi site,
I tried unsuccessfully to burn several version to replace the chinese rom
Unfortunately each version reveals a different problem:
In one version the wifi and camera did not work
In another version the wifi did work but the camera did not work
I tried to go back to Chinese ROM, everything worked but the camera lost its focus.
Please help me solve the problem

The camera work, but the focus on the main camera are not work properly.
When i use 0.6 zoom the picture fine, but any other pictures are bad.
Front camera work properly.
Please help me to solve this problem.

This update is for china devices

I got this update on my phone in Australia. I'm using the HK based phone which is very Chinese. Like most of you, I wish there was an English ROM for the x60 pro plus.

Can somebody pls upload the origin os version of the camera apk to see if there is any difference between the funtouchos version camera apk and the origin os one

Question Can someone check Hearing Aid Support in Redmi Note 10 pro settings, MIUI 12?

Can someone check if this phone has hearing aid direct streaming support? I guess no one can try it for real without having a hearing aid device but can someone with note 10 pro go to Accessibility settings and screenshot any hearing setting available and post it in reply?

Courtesy of Redmi Note 10 pro discussion telegram group I was able to get the below screenshots. And compared to the hearing aid sub menus in samsung and oneplus I saw, I can confirm that Note 10 pro does not support ASHA hearing aid support.
Even samsung M31 in same budget has it which makes me believe that Xiaomi does not care about these accessibility features for the needed.
My father still wants Xiaomi because of cloud backup for call recording etc so we are still getting note 10 pro. Will check it first hand and update the post again.

I have a Xiaomi phone too.
I asked for 3 years and then asked every month if there had been any changes since then.
I got no response, so they don't care about the problems of the disadvantaged.
There is probably discrimination there too.
Their support sucks. hearing impaired people should not buy xiaomi.

Question Poco M4 Pro 5G - Automatic Call Recording - MISSING

Hey ,
Recently I started to get some problems recording calls, so I unlocked my Poco M4 Pro 5G and installed Global ROM -
that fixed my recording problem - BUT the option for "automatic recording" is still missing , in fact I still see the option but it disappears very quickly .
So I did some reading and told to install the european ROM , did that , still no automatic recordings.
Someone also suggested to install Indian ROM but there is no option for it.
The only available ROMS are EEA, GLOBAL that I tried and RU , TW - which Im not sure if automatic recordings is enabled in them.
