I made the mistake of trying to boot into system on Slot B from TWRP. Any solutions? I cant power the phone off at all, only reboot.
Maybe go back to twrp and boot the other slot? Maybe twrp and wipe data?

I succesfully unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP recovery, backed up original ROM in TWRP, and installed Maximus7 3.1.0
All went through fine, but when I tried the first re-boot after my personal set up, the One powered down, then up again and got stuck on the HTC One splashscreen, only showing for a split second the start screen where you enter the PIN, then back to splashscreen.
USB is detected, I can get into bootloader and recovery but just not into the ROM.
Tried a different ROM bjut same ther, also I did a restore of the original ROM back-up which booted fine, but again not possible to re-boot but stuck with that damn splashscreen.
If anyone has some advice for me that would be really appreciated.
Can I just install the stock recovery and re-lock the bootloader? How do I go about that to get back to stock?
Thank you cvery much for your respone.

Did you wipe everything in recovery? /system, /data, /cache, and dalvik cache?
Look up "proper flashing procedure xda" on google if you're stuck

Hi!
Already tried this.Although flashing goes well it keeps hanging at motorola boot log.I enter recovery wipe data and cache but same thing.I leave the phone about half an hour and it stays at boot logo...
Hello Guys,
Yesterday I tried to root my Moto 2g.
Unlocked it's bootloader,Installed Twrp and installed supersu. Also downloaded a custom mod(the most famous one I guess) and installed it,only to find out that the phone would no longer boot
but keep looping on the unlocked bootloader warning screen. While thinking that I had downloaded a non-compatible mod I Installed another one. After that, booting the phone would Instantly
take me to the recovery mode and keep looping the Teamwin logo.
I decided not to mess anymore with it and reinstall the stock firmware for moto 2g. After Installing it the Motorola logo comes up and then I am taken to the fastboot screen once again with the error saying:
"Fastboot reason,Fell through from boot recovery mode".Tried to flash CWM to see If I could get into recovery mode from there but I would get CWM logo loops exactly the same way they appeared with Teamwin logo.
Seems like phone is dead to me but still have a bit of hope, although the only place I can get is fastboot.
Edit:I tried to fastboot flash boot boot.img the stock image and I got and error saying that boot.img(10mb) exceeded the partition limit

try flashing the whole Stock Firmware
It might help,
U said u flashed a MOD over stock ROM?
If so, u should have boot first Just After unlocking the bootloader before Flashing any MODs

Ok let me explain the situation better.Last night I used a stock firmware I found and flashed it.When I tried to boot I would see motorola logo once
fore boot mode,Then it would go to recovery so I would see it for a second time and then I would see teamwin logo looping so the phone was not
able to get into recovery mode but only into bootloader.
After That I flashed CWM and the same thing would happen with CWM logo looping now in recovery mode.
Today I woke up and flashed CWM again, and for some reason I could get into CWM and use it normally
So what I did is Installed Supersu and a mod for my xt1068 and tried to boot but phone stuck in the same endless loop again and I also cant get
into CWM again as its logo keeps flashing instead of taking me into the menu.
I believe there is an error with my data folder or partition or w/e.
Most of all I want to be able to get into CWM again

So u are not able to get into Recovery
And u can get to Fast boot Mode?
If yes Flash TWRP latest(3..1.0-0)
Boot into TWRP
Reset or Install any Custom ROM like LiniageOS or AOSP
I think it's the problem with SuperSU?
Which MOD did u install?

Thanks for the replies,I managed to solve the problem and install Cyanogenmod.I guess everything came up to this:
After the first time I installed twrp I decided to wipe my data folder but somehow it was deleted and the partition became raw type which caused
all the bootlooping problems.
Using CWM I was able to get into recovery mode and then I chose to format my data folder and sd card(as ext4 I guess) and the data folder was
recreated.
After that I normally flashed Cyanogenmod and device booted just fine
I have the XT 1805
This is the European Dual Sim version 32GB.
I unlocked the bootloader and got root using this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g5s-plus/development/root-moto-g5s-plus-t3673287
I was unsuccessful flashing the TWRP recovery from the link in the OP. Other people in that that thread noted similar issues. I flashed TWRP from this link:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74105503&postcount=27
Whenever the phone boots, it boots directly to TWRP.
I also enabled encryption.
TWRP says the encryption password is incorrect.
When I cancel the ready process, I can go into TWRP and boot to bootloader from TWRP.
From the bootloader/fastboot screen I can boot into system.
I don't want to jump through these hoops every time I reboot. How do I fix this?
Also, I cannot factory reset. Factory reset takes me to TWRP. After I do the bootloader dance, I'm back to the system before the factory reset. It's as if factory reset never happened.

First of all we need to make a fresh start so
1) let's flash the stock ROM on our device
2) now once we are on stock it time we flash a valid TWRP recovery file here's the link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g5s-plus/development/recovery-twrp-3-1-1-r7-t3694910
3) once it's done let's boot to the recovery and if it asks for any password or pin let's cancel it and swipe to allow modifications now let's go into wipe section > format data > type yes.
4) once it's done let's go to reboot section and reboot to recovery. Once again let's boot back to recovery if we get any red lines highlighting " unable to mount system " so to fix it let's go to mount and mount system, data and now flash magisk or super su if we want root or straight away flash a custom ROM due to this atleast we will not get a system status modified in our bootloader
Thanks for reading .
As the title suggest, I fail to boot into TWRP.
I have unlocked the phone and flashed TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/raphael/twrp-3.3.1-0-raphael.img).
I could boot into TWRP using Power + Volume Up , wiped everything (except vendor) and pushed a custom rom to the internal storage.
I restarted the phone for some reason and cannot boot into TWRP anymore. Whatever I do, I end up in fastboot. Tried to flash various versions of TWRP with the same result.
Can you guys help me out?
Edit: I flashed the corresponding Xiaomi fastboot image and repeated the process, same problem.
Edit: Solved by repeating again.

In future, don't wipe everything. You should only need to do the factory reset in TWRP, which will automatically wipe data, cache and dakvik. If you are flashing over MIUI then you will also need to format data.
There is almost never any need to wipe anything else in TWRP when doing normal custom ROM flashing.
