Question S21 ultra-exynos - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Is there a way to get 5g for tmobile or verizon on the exynos International version?

They are not made for US. They lack the majority of bands for 5G. You have n5 and n66 for verizon and n41 for t-mobile. That's it.

ok. thanks for the info

Does US Unlocked Phones (Galaxy S8 and Note 8) Support 4G TDD LTE Bands?

I am interested in buying US version (Snapdragon) of factory unlocked Note 8. However, it's full specs on network/radio bands are not listed yet even on Samsung official site.
I looked in full specs for Galaxy S8 unlocked (SM-G950UZKAXAA) vs carrier version such as Galaxy S8 for T-mobile (SM-G950UZKATMB), and noticed that carrier versions all listed support for 4G TDD LTE: B38(2600),B39(1900),B40(2300),B41(2500), while unlocked version does not. As the screenshots show.
So will Note 8 unlocked (Snapdradon) also be missing the 4G TDD LTE bands (B38, B39, B40, B41)?
Or maybe the specs listed on Samsung official site are not accurate and unlocked also supports those bands? Wishful thinking.
4G TDD LTE is used in some countries like China. So anyone with unlocked S8 on tmobile traveled to China can confirm if 4G data worked in China with t-mobile SIM?
If the unlocked phone only has the benefit to switch carriers in US but has limited band support internationally, then I will have to think twice.
Yeah I was trying to figure this out as well. So far, from other sites, I have seen mix messages. One site FrequencyCheck.com states that it does have those bands and other show them is missing...not sure which one is correct. Also, for other sites I have seen that the T-Mobile version also has 3G TD-SCDMA: B34(2010), B39(1880) and the unlocked version has 3G CDMA: 800/1900. I really can not make heads or tails of this information....is it correct, who is wrong??? I called Samsung that they don't have the information yet, so I don't know either way. I'm leaning to go with the Unlocked by Samsung version, but I am in the same boat with regards to this matter.
Looks like it, i have a Unlocked verdion of the phone.

S10 5G not carrier unlock-ible?

Hi guys. I was reading news of Qualcomm announcing X55 5G modem which is the follow up model to S10 5G’s X50 modem and one of the advantage was the new X55 isn’t carrier specific. From my limited understanding it seems X50 will only work on the carrier the phone is sold for and I assume limited to 4G LTE if roaming/unlocked. Does this mean the Verizon S10 5G available later this month can only get 5G on Verizon and the South Korean 5G model won’t work in the US?
Also, there is a Department of Defense paper last month on 5G race and it mentioned China is pushing the world to adapt 6GHz 5G standards while the US is pushing mmWAVE because 6GHz spectrums are allocated to the military in the US. It states most countries will adapt China’s standard as most countries have 6GHz free. I don’t know the advantage/disadvantage of 6GHz vs mmWAVE but does it means US 5G phones and carriers are incompatible with international 5G phones and carriers?
Sorry for the long questions. Thinking I should ask the experts here. Want to get a Verizon S10 5G to use on Sprint later this year.
It's my understanding that they will be carrier locked. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are all using some different bands in their 5G phones.

Question Exynos S21 on a US network (T-mobile or AT&T)

I have a UK Exynos S21 Ultra, and I am moving to the US in a couple of months. How will my S21 work on T-mobile or AT&T? Should I (or is it even possible) to flash the CSC to a US network? Will this enable any additional LTE bands?

Question Can SM-G9980 (HK dual sim) be hacked to get 5G in US?

Does anyone know? It's a physical dual sim, but it is a snapdragon, exactly the same as the US versions. The US bands in 5G are not enabled on this particular model. Can it be hacked to have US 5G enabled? I have read about switching on dormant bands on the US models to get 5G in Europe. Is it possible to do the same, but the other way around, for this non US model to get 5G in the US?
It's not the sane device in hardware or firmware although there are similarities. According to a few users 5G works in some regions, Australia and Europe but I haven't heard this from any US users. Can someone root the device to enable 5G on US Service Provider's? Maybe but I would think it's a challenging endeavor for anyone but the most hardcore tech gurus.

Only 5G sub6 bands are available in HK variant - 1, 3, 28, 41, 78 and 79. Is your network using any of these?
