Once you have root and Magisk installed, use axet-callrecorder: https://github.com/di72nn/callrecorder-axet
I don't want to root, thanks. It was in case there was a way to record in stock rom
use a call app like "True Phone", the recording is included as many other functions

Hi, sadly True Phone doesn't work correctly on MIUI roms. In my experience, the only way to get call recording working fine, is flashing Indonesian rom. That's no other solution.
True Phone records our voice correctly, but the other side sounds very low, and not much clear.
I'm not sure if Indian rom, or any other, also get Miui dialer. The only one that I know surely, is indonesian's.
@Authi: Did you tried the different options in the settings of True phone? (File type, source true phone or integrated)

Hi, of course, I was testing all options: integrated recorder, skvalex app, and also system recorder, but I don't like every call had to activate manually miui recorder. If we need miui dialer also to record correctly, why we must use two apps for that work? I prefer using original miui recorder from indonesian rom.

What do you mean by "had to activate manually miui recorder" during a call? I'd gladly do that in order to have call recording, but not sure how to do that... is that in the global rom?

Sorry, I assumed that we are talking about xiaomi.eu roms (that has original miui dialer) Some people, myself, prefer the interface of True Phone, instead original Miui dialer, then, I also tried to work with it in xiaomi.eu rom, but it works parcially, talking about recording calls.
True Phone, in a xiaomi.eu rom, has 3 recording calls options:
1) by True Phone itself.
2) by app skvalex (which is integrated into True Phone configuratio)
3) by system dialer. But in original global roms, it doesn't works, because google dialer don't do it. You must use xiaomi.eu rom to use these option.
True Phone doesn't record calls with enough quality by itself, (option 1) then you must use another app (skvalex) to reinforce True Phone. (option 2) Nor does it work well, so the only option that works fine is the 3rd. (using system dialer.) If you use True Phone as default dialer, using 3rd option, every call you do, need to "manually activate original miui dialer" just after clic the begin calling.
Sorry for the explanation a little confused, but my english is not enough good.

It's all very clear, thank you for sharing! I was hoping you had a way to make it work in the global ROM, but that's ok
Flash Taiwan rom. It has miui apps and dialer with call recording.
Thanks, but I don't want to void the warranty (I just bought the phone)

Unlocking bootloader of your Xiaomi or Redmi device does not void the warranty, the smartphone manufacturer said in a tweet. Xiaomi has always kept it clear that unlocking the bootloader via the Mi Unlock tool does not affect the device's warranty.
As long as you're flashing original ROM's there should be no problem with your warranty whatsoever.

That's very interesting. I had noticed something about that, but I assumed it was only valid in India. If that's not the case, I'll definitely do it!

Hi, I have downloaded an app called Automatic call recorder by appliqato.
I used this app before with no problems on my previous phone (mi a1).
But for some reason, now it is recording but with no sound.
Any idea why?
Thanks a lot!
Maybe it worked on your older phone because it had an older android version. It appears goolag has decided that we won't be allowed to record our phone calls under android 10. That is until they change their mind.

Yes you are right, My old mi a1 was on android 8 when I used it.
do you know of any way of enabling it?
maybe with root?
or by downgrading android?
It's really important for me to record calls.
edit: I read a little bit and found this: https://www.boldbeast.com/forum/topic1877-android-10-call-recording.html
this app does work if you enable the accessibility setting, but for some reason, the other person is not as loud in the recording as he is when talking to him, but it's close enough so I will take it
Almost any custom MIUI ROM has such function by default.

Yeah somehow, that is the main reason I use the xiaomi.eu ROM (because it has auto call recording).

You have to use the apk from the website, not the playstore app!
From the official boldbeast website:
No root needed, but special operation needed
In some countries in some phones, the call recording feature of Android 10 is disabled but Boldbeast Recorder can bypass the limits to enable it. Please:
- Confirm you are using Boldbeast Recorder V12.9 or a newer version.
- Tap "Settings - System - Accessibility" in your phone (not in Boldbeast), enable Boldbeast Call Recorder on the screen.
- Tap "Set Default Settings" in Boldbeast Recorder.
Then it works at once, both your voice and the caller's voice are loud and clear in recordings, no root needed.
For example, Android 10 phones like Galaxy S10, Note10 etc in many countries work great this way.
The voice of the other person on the line is a bit weak, but usable.
On my rooted phone, both voices are equally loud & crystal clear.

I have installed app (Boldbeast Recorder V12.9) from website but my recordings are empty... files are created but it's just silence when you play it back.
There are 12 Record Modes (1-7, 11-14 and Alsa Mode (Root)). What Mode should be used for Mi 9T Pro, MIUI Global 11.0.1?
I use record mode 12
Hey, i have a Realme x2 pro EU version and as all of you know call recording on this version is disabled, so i must root my phone and wipe data....etc to change the system file com.oppo.regionmark.EUEX.xml .....
And i'm not willing to take a chance and wipe all my data , so if anyone have tried a third party app of recording call? except the one called (ACR) that just record my voice and not the other person.
Thank you

None of them work fine, the other person's voice is always too low. The in-built one (the one you need root for) works great though. If I was being picky, I wish it recorded in MP3 or similar instead of AMR.

I'm having an issue of incoming calls
it dosen't show as a banner on top when i'm on another app (Youtube or whatsapp video call), the incoming call take all the screen fully and when i mute it i can't hear anything from the other apps (youtube or whatsapp caller) until the incoming call or the caller cut the line.
Is it the same with everyone?

This should enable call recorder without unlocking the bootloader, so no root required . Also I did it and the internal storage do not get wiped . Maybe wi-fi password get deleted .

You should be able to back to your original EU region .I changed it several times without any issue. Just do not forget to see what is your original region before changing it .It should be marked with green color .I did not checked if ota works but maybe if it does not work, just revert back to the original region and do ota,Then change the region again.

I had same issue.
Two solutions:
1) Change launcher to Poco
2) Install 3rd party Phone dialer - this what I did
Didn't like google phone app anyway, not good with finding contacts.

Enable Native Call Recording + OP Stock Dialer on OnePlus 10 Pro
Hi guys, Just upgraded from OP7T to OP10 Pro as a European user. Call recording functionality does not come with the device here. Had native call recording enabled on my OP7T through jOnePlus Tools and the likes. Jtools Oneplus does not install...
forum.xda-developers.com
I used native call record with joneplus tools and tasker many many years ago without any issues. Last day i updated my OP8 PRO to android 13, and call record menu disappeared, but joneplus and tasker look works. Now i try find a solution, because i checked at record folder, there's no new call records.
If your device is rooted you can use Google Dialer Mod to enable call recording and mute that annoying sound of "call being recorded", that app can enable Visual Voice Mail, call screening and probably hold for me options enabling flags.
The dev seems to be working on adding more switches to enable more features.
